“So why were you late?”

Mirei san sits on the bed and I sit upright on the floor.

“I know why, but I’d like to hear it from you.”

I thought I saw some guy sitting nearby who looked familiar. Probably an SP guy.

“They’re throwing a welcome party for me…I forgot to call you…”

“So, were you flirting with that onee san?”

“N-no. We just happened to be talking…”

“Then why did you lie about not having a girlfriend?”

It seems that it was all overheard. I didn’t cover it up.

“Mirei san said you were already a fiancée, so I started to feel like it was different from being a girlfriend…”

“I wish you would have at least contacted me properly”

“I’m sorry. I said too much.”

She hugged me.

“I was worried because I hadn’t heard from you since you said you were coming home with me. I thought if something had happened to you, I would have asked the SPs to help me.”

“I’ll be in touch from now on.”

“Yes. You will do that. But there are still some things I have to do.”

And then I was pushed down.

“You’re still so cute I could push you over.”

“W-What are you doing?”

“I have to get the stinky perfume off your suit.”

The very next day, I am woken up.

“Good morning, Mirei san. I know it’s your day off, but if you don’t get up soon, your rhythm of life will be disrupted, okay?”

“Yes…I guess so.”

Today is Saturday, so I don’t have to go to work.

It is after 10:00 a.m. now. It’s been a while since I woke up this late…

“Ah!”

Yesterday…I kissed him forcibly.

We didn’t end up doing anything more than that, but…

“I-I’m sorry! Yesterday, regardless of my intention, I forced myself on you…”

“I’m sorry too that I wasn’t aware of your feelings.”

“You don’t need to apologize! It’s all my fault for running off on my own…”

He wouldn’t back down even if I told him it was my fault.

Apparently, this might have been what Hitomi had said before.

“You’re unusually late today.”

“I was up late last night.”

“Well, it’s nice to get up late on your day off.”

“I think I slept longer than I have in a long time, too.”

he said over breakfast.

I’m using SP, so I’m sure Father knows.

“Let’s take it easy today, shall we?”

“Yes.”

Let’s take a day off today.
