Chapter 764: 14.40 Last Violet Star – Flying Ship

The (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect was well-known for its practice of discipline and manners. Their sect follows more than a thousand rules and this itself was all followed by the disciples of the Sect.

Because of this tradition, most disciples in this sect were all well-mannered and disciplined. The (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect is considered as a place where immortals were made. According to the history of human cultivators, a lot of Gods ascended from this sect.

The God of Judgement was said to come from this sect and even those in the ice royal jade palace in Heavenly knows the hidden secret of the royal family. The immortal emperor used to be the first mortal to become immortal and his origins were the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect.

Their sect is so famous that their discipline when it comes to cultivation is very strict. But because of this, their sect was considered the most righteous one among all other sects.

Ten years ago the other sects had seen that the people of the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect were also humans. Because the Old Sect Master Yun was the first vessel that the Devil of Envy, Jidu, used to possess before Bai Wuan of the (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect absorb the devil’s soul to his body and ask Yun Xiajie to help killed himself.

Because of this event, Old Sect Master Yun Huajie was saved and the person who died in his place was Bai Wuan.

Now hearing that Bai Wuan has come back alive from the letter of his eldest son which his younger brother had read first shocked him to the core. He could still hear Yun Xiayu’s voice lingering in his ears saying,

.....

“B-Brother... Brother... He... He... That child... That child is back!!!” said the Old Great Elder of the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect.

Old Sect Master Yun Huajie took the letter from his brother’s hand and read it himself. His hands were shaking as he read what was written by his son. The news about the event in the south was resolved. The only problem is that the devil race once again surfaces in their mortal realm.

But his eyes did not linger on that part of the message, instead on the last paragraph. He was in denial until he read the paragraph word by word.

“Father, I’m sure you will be surprised by this news. I will tell you now since Jieye and he is already on their way back... Bai Wuan is back but his name is now Hei Wuan. Once you see him yourself you would definitely recognize him. But there is a small problem, A’Wuan seems to have forgotten his memories about his past life. There are parts he can remember but the biggest problem is that he lost his emotions as a human. This is because A’Wuan is an Immortal who had descended from the Upper Realms.”

“We don’t know why that happens but... We can only ask him when he wakes up. Jieye will be there soon. I leave the rest to father and uncle. A’Wuan had lost consciousness after capturing the Devil of Greed. Please leave the things here to me. This son would be back soon after things had been solved.”

The Old Sect Master and Old Great Elder looked at each other. They did not expect that Bai Wuan’s real identity is that of an Immortal from the Heavenly Realm.

The Old Great Elder, Yun Xiayu said, “No wonder that child promised Jieye that he would be back even after he died. Because even if he died he would still come back to life as he was originally an immortal.”

“Sigh~ to think I have a daughter-in-law who is immortal. I don’t know if this is a coincidence or fate. Now the devils are coming out and A’Wuan once again descended, this time as God. For some reason I feel that everything is changing too fast,” said the Old Sect Master Yun Huajie.

“Either way... For now, let’s prepare the welcome of A’Wuan.”

“Leave it to me, Brother. I will ask the sect to prepare for a banquet. But since A’Wuan is still unconscious, I wouldn’t tell them to cook for now.”

“Then I will leave it to you. I will have someone arrange Jieye’s place and prepare some necessities for him there.”

Only then the two old men separated and started making preparations for Hei Anjing’s arrival.

Meanwhile, Yun Xiajie and Hei Anjing together with the young disciples of the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect. They were riding a flying ship prepared by Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang from Hei Anjing’s possession and left the rest to ride with them.

Yun Xiajie was staying in the Master’s bedroom looking after Hei Anjing who lost consciousness. He could see his beloved’s skin had traces of cracking and his qi kept it from breaking. A bit of aura made of divinity was leaking from those cracks making him even more worried than seeing Hei Anjing faint. Standing by the side of them was Zhi Yue who was waiting for orders.

Yun Xiajie’s expression is not good. He is holding onto the hand of Hei Anjing as he sits on the edge of the bed.

“Zhi Yue, what is happening to him?” asked Chun Hongyun-Jun.

Zhi Yue trembled for a bit when he heard his lord’s cold voice yet full of worry.

“Answering Lord Ye’s question, this is because Lord Hei’s current body is only that of a human. Though he possesses a constitution stronger than any human it would still break once he uses his divine powers as a God. Before he descended on this realm, the heavenly laws sealed the divinity his body possessed and it would take a few months to convert it to one which would allow him to wield his divine powers. He used his God’s Domain just now but his body is just human so, his vessel is currently rejecting his body. He entered a deep sleep to heal his vessel.” answered Zhi Yue.

Chun Hongyun-Jun finally understands his beloved’s situation.

Yun Xiajie asked, “How long would he need to sleep?”

“Lord Hei only used his domain for a few seconds and within a limited space. He would need at least 2-3 days to sleep,” said Zhi Yue.

“I see. That’s good,” said Yun Xiajie.

Once their conversation ended the atmosphere in the room turned serious and too quiet. It made Zhi Yue uncomfortable and wanted to find Zhi Yang. He was crying inside while looking so servile on the surface.

Zhi Yue’s thoughts, ‘A’Yang save me! This kind of Lord God is too depressing~ (QWQ)’

Before Zhi Yue died from stress, Lord God Ye started talking to him once again.

Yun Xiajie spoke, “Yang said you had descended together with Jing’er from the Upper Realm. Does that mean you know what happened to him in that place?”

“Yes, my lord,” answered Zhi Yue.

“Are you allowed to tell me about it?” he asked with a bit of confusion. After all, the difference between Hei Anjing and his standing is different.

One is an immortal above all beings and the other is just a mortal who is strong among all mortals.

Zhi Yue said, “I was ordered by Lord Hei to answer anything the lord will ask. Lord Hei never had any intention of hiding from Lord God Ye.”

“Lord God Ye? Are you talking about me?” asked Yun Xiajie.

These kinds of questions made Zhi Yue panic for a moment. He looked like a cat whose tail was accidentally stepped on.

‘Damn! This tongue of mine!’ Thoughts of Zhi Yue.

Gulps!

Zhi Yue pretended to hear wrong things and said, “Lord Yun is hearing things. This subordinate had called my lord, Lord Yun.”

Chun Hongyun-Jun stared at Zhi Yue who stood before his eyes like a statue and wasn’t even willing to meet his eyes as he kept his head lowered. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to force the man to tell him a few things and decided to act the way the latter wanted him.

Yun Xiajie says, “If that’s what you say then it would be. Then I want you to tell me about Jing’er’s life in the Immortal Realm. You should at least know what happened to him after he died in the mortal realm. I want to know about that and why those who had died like the former Sect Master of (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect and his madam as well as my uncle, Yun Xiayu were all able to come back alive after dying under the hands of Devil Jidu ten years ago.”

Zhi Yue started his explanation.

“Then Lord Ye should first know about Lord Hei’s real identity in the Upper Realm. My lord’s real name hasn’t changed. The only difference is that he was born as a Hei and used the surname Bai after he was adopted by an old couple of the Bai Family in the mortal realm.”

“He is Hei Anjing. His title in the Heavenly realm is His Highness, King Wuan. He is the God of Punishment of this world and... The youngest son of the Immortal Emperor.”

“Lord Hei is a pureblood immortal.”

Zhi Yue expected Yun Xiajie, this amnesiac God of Judgment to be surprised when he heard about Lord Hei’s identity in this world. After all, he believes that he is nothing but a mortal right now. But the surprised look he was anticipating didn’t happen and so he asked the latter why his face remained apathetic upon hearing this truth.

“Are you not surprised about this, Lord Yun?” asked Zhi Yue.

Yun Xiajie slightly shook his head and looked at his sleeping lover with a gentle gaze.

“No. Only that kind of standing fits him. The others believe he is an orphan with no one to back him up. His talents are above anyone in this human world. The others could help but be in awe and envious. On the other hand, Jing’er had never once put them in his sight. Even if he cares for Bai Ying and Lu Tian since they are his sworn brother and childhood friend, his gaze was always beyond what the mortal world possesses and nothing in this world is able to enter his eyes. So on that day, he chooses to die... When he promised me he would come back... I’ve already somewhat guessed his identity,” said Yun Xiajie.

Zhi Yue smiled and said, “Lord Yun is wrong about one thing. In this mortal realm, it is true that no one was able to enter his eyes. But when Lord Hei met you, you became the sole being who was able to enter his world.”

“I know. He always... indirectly tells me this.” said Yun Xiajie then he asked, “Can you tell me what happened in the Upper Realm?”

Zhi Yue nods his head.

“I’ve only witnessed what happened after Lord Hei had to wake up. But I’ve investigated what happened before Lord Hei came out of Purgatory.”

Yun Xiajie didn’t like the word ‘Purgatory’ for some reason. A rare frown appeared on his face and asked, “What is this Purgatory?”

“Purgatory is the only demised realm the Upper World possesses. This is where... Where sinners regardless of whether they are gods or mortals ended up going. It is the land of torture,” answered Zhi Yue.

His voice gets lower and smaller as he notices Yun Xiajie’s face becoming darker with every word he says about purgatory.

“Why did he end up in Purgatory!?” shouted Yun Xiajie.

Chun Hongyun-Jun exclaimed with rage his aura as the strongest man in the mortal realm spread within the whole flying boat causing tremors in the sky.

Rumbles~

The flying ship was shaking as Yun Xiajie was in a rage. It shook badly that Yun Fan who was afraid of extreme heights could only hug Du Sang while trembling.

At the open area of the boat...

Yun Fan screamed, “Ah!!! The ship is falling!! It’s falling~~~ Sang’er save me!!!”

Du Sang hugged him back but Yun Anjie slapped the back of his head in anger.

Yun Anjie says, “Don’t say such unlucky words!”

“A’Fan, don’t worry it won’t fall. Moreover, we have four seniors with us. We will be alright,” said Du Sang.

Zhi Yang, who was controlling the flying ship, looked at the closed doors of the Master’s bedroom. He can feel the rage of Lord God Ye.

“Why is he making Lord Ye angry? Sigh~ that idiot,” mumbled Zhi Yang.
