Hei Yuhua finally meets with Fu Miyan and Fu Tian formally. They didn’t speak openly the first time they met and both were interested in each other yet no one expected to recognize one another. First off, they were in public at that time and the second one is that Student Fu Tian had just beaten up Student Xu Meiji intending to send him away from school intentionally. So he wouldn’t get involved with his black business and get himself killed for real.

The Fu Brothers looked at Hei Yuhua with reluctance and disbelief. They couldn’t understand why the man in front of them would introduce himself in such a way but for Student Fu Tian this information is extremely useful. He just needs to clear up a few more things.

Student Fu Tian asked, “Aren’t you supposed to be working for that Prosecutor just now? As an agent for Aster I can understand if you are in undercover while with the Red Poppy Syndicate but why hide your face before the police like the man just now? Moreover, he called you his wife. If you are an omega that’s understandable but aren’t you an undercover agent? Aren’t agents mostly alphas and betas?”

“That’s a bit prejudiced. I am indeed an omega. I married that Prosecutor who brought you here. He is my fated mate and my alpha. I wouldn’t indulge much in our private life but... You can say we are on the same side. We are both from. The police and intelligence division yet not as well. You can say we made a team made up of police officers and agents,” explained Hei Yuhua.

Student Fu Miyan asked, “H-How... How about Teacher Hei? Maybe that’s not his real name as well.”

“Well, he didn’t change his name much. He just used my surname and used his real name. He was originally called Yun Jie. He used my name to undercover as a teacher here and use the name Hei Jie,” said Hei Yuhua. “He is from Aster like me and my confidant. There is another man called Lou Wei. He is a field police officer and the right-hand person of my husband. As for my husband you’ve already met him, he is that Prosecutor who brought you here. His name is Ye Yuyan.” said Hei Yuhua.

Student Fu Miyan said, “Big brother... That uncle just now... He is scary as he doesn’t even smile.”

“No worries. He is like that to everyone except me. Well~ we should discuss more important things just now. Are you willing to answer my questions honestly?” asked Hei Yuhua.

Student Fu Tian answered with another question and said, “Can you protect us from the Syndicate?”

“I can promise to keep you alive. Before we continue you should meet someone first,” said Hei Yuhua as he looked at the covered bed in the infirmary. He called for the one napping in that place.

“I know you are awake. You should at least show your face if you came for them. This room is at least secured right now.” said Hei Yuhua towards whoever was the person on the bed.

A young man’s voice responded to Hei Yuhua.

“I haven’t thought about what I should say yet. Let me think for a bit more.”

The voice coming from the curtained bed made the Fu Brothers stunned at first but could feel their heartbeats beating faster than normal. The voice coming from the direction of the voice seems familiar. Student Fu Miyan took over and his tears started gathering in the corner of his eyes as he hurriedly opened the curtain.

As for the man on the opposite side of the curtain, he jumped back a bit when the curtain was forcefully spread open revealing a shocked Student Xu Meiji behind the curtain.

Student Xu Meiji felt a bit overwhelmed by the eyes that fell on him, especially Student Fu Miyan’s worried yet excited eyes staring at him.

Xu Meiji calls, “Mimi.”

Student Fu Miyan hugged Xu Meiji and started wailing. When he first heard from Datura this morning that Xu Meiji was already killed by someone from the Red Poppy Syndicate, Student Fu Miyan despaired. Because of this he no longer cared when a teacher from school asked him to sleep with him.

Xu Meiji was caught off guard because he knew that it was his Mimi that he couldn’t help but hug him back.

“Don’t cry, Mimi. I’m alright. Brother Lou had saved me from the hospital before someone arrived to end my life.” said Student Xu Meiji.

Hei Yuhua let the two take their time. They had all the day after all when suddenly someone called him. It was Officer Ying Wu.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

Hei Yuhua gestured for the children to keep quiet.

“Hello. What’s wrong, Wuwu?”

{Heiyu? You’re in school right? I can’t contact Prosecutor Ye. Is he with you?}

“Yes. He is napping. Wait, let me wake him up for you.”

{Eh? No there’s no one...}

Then he heard a crash from his call. He knew that Hua Heiyu must have hit the Prosecutor to wake him up. After the crash, he can hear Prosecutor Ye’s angry voice over the phone. It was quite a distance from the phone as Hua Heiyu must have put his phone on some table and wheeled his wheelchair towards the bed to wake up people.

On the opposite side, Student Fu Miyan and Student Xu Meiji watch as Hei Yuhua takes over two people’s identities on his own. He could even change his voice and demeanor accordingly to what he wanted. It was such a bizarre yet awesome scene.

Hei Yuhua uses his husband’s voice. He copied his way of speaking as he speaks.

“What is it? You should have called me instead of this little brat!”

{S-Sir... I did call your phone. N-No one answered.}

Then he heard Hua Heiyu’s voice saying, “His phone is dead. No use calling him.”

Tsk!

“You heard him. Why did you call me?”

{Not much, boss. Just this morning the witness, Student Xu Meiji, was found dead in the hospital together with the guards that were left to protect him.}

“I will send Wei Lou there. Gather all clues. Check thoroughly for hidden traces. You must report everything without missing anything to me this evening. Don’t go to school. I’m looking for Datura’s hidden laboratory. Don’t come here and make a scene. I don’t want to scare the snake into hiding.”

{As you command, Prosecutor Ye.}

From the opposite side, he heard Hua Heiyu shouting, “Give back my phone” and the call abruptly ended.

The call was ended by Hua Heiyu. It was him who was talking to Officer Ying Su as his Ye Yuyan.

Xu Meiji said, “Sir, that’s amazing.”

“He is an agent. Voice changing skill is required as a skill set,” commented Fu Tian.

Even though Fu Tian took over, Xu Meiju didn’t show any fear. He knew that Fu Tian didn’t hate him as much as the others though. He is only cold on the outside but warm inside.

Xu Meiji asked innocently, “Why is such a skill a required skill set for agents?”

“There are types of agents. He is an undercover one. He needs different kinds of identities according to different kinds of situations. He could even speak as a woman if needed.” said Fu Tian.

Hua Yuhua spoke in a woman’s voice and said, “He is correct about that. I’ve also undergone acting lessons as well. Either way, are you guys finished with your reunion?”

“We are.” answered the two young men

Hua Yuhua said, “Then let’s talk. I need everything that you know, Fu Tian. In exchange, I will make sure no one from the Red Poppy Syndicate will find you two and protect you regardless. The choice is yours.”

Fu Tian stared at Hua Yuhua and then glanced at Xu Meiji who smiled at him. He didn’t reply right away as he didn’t know the extent of Hua Yuhua’s capabilities.

Xu Meiji spoke, “They are different from the police we know. That person who brought you here is the only son of the prime minister and this person in front of you is his wife. They have been married since last year.”

Once Xu Meiji said these words, Fu Tian who knows that Prosecutor Ye Yuyan’s family was supposed to be killed by the Syndicate realized that the side he is currently with must have schemed.

Fu Tian asked, “Are you really Prosecutor Ye Yuyan’s wife?”

“I am. The real one. We also have a daughter but she lives with her grandparents at this moment. You can’t meet her yet.” said Hei Yuhua. “You might be a bit confused but didn’t you learn about that one beside you? He is supposed to be dead in their eyes too.”

Fu Tian said, “It is impossible for the people of the Syndicate to mistake killing puppets for real humans.”

“The dummies are well made with real flesh and blood. Their actions were programmed carefully as well. Except for having no soul, they can be considered humanoid cyborgs instead.” said Hei Yuhua.

Fu Tian said, “Okay. I will tell you everything I know. In exchange, you will protect us and Xu Meiji.”

“I promise,” said Hei Yuhua.

Fu Tian said, “Datura’s hidden laboratory is in the old building. The Biology laboratory side storage. It was an abandoned room. He stays there all morning but goes back to the abandoned warehouse at the outskirts of the city. He meets his other friends there. Poppy also appears there. You know too well who Poppy is right?”

“Officer Ying Wu... or should we call him Ying Su instead?” said Hei Yuhua.

Fu Tian said, “His real name is Ying Su.”

“T-That’s... That’s the man whom I and Brother Lou had seen that night. He is the one who killed my dummy and the other police officers that night,” said Xu Meiji.

Fu Tian didn’t expect this. “What?! It was him! I thought it was someone else who tried to kill you. But that’s impossible... He said he wouldn’t harm you at all. Datura said...”

“It was the head who made the decision. Do you think that Datura cares if he breaks his promise?” said Hei Yuhua.

Fu Tian shut his mouth when he heard that but he knew that Hei Yuhua was telling the truth. The lives of the people which Poppy did not even consider pawns are nothing in his eyes. But this fact still angered Fu Tian a lot.

“You guys are the ones who broke the promise first. You cannot blame me for what will happen afterward,” murmured Fu Tian.

He suddenly stood up and asked Hei Yuhua to follow him. They followed him to the school library and took a book from one of the corner books within the sea of books. Within that book is a folded map of the school. It shows the hidden routes which Datura can take to leave the school premises unhindered. When Hei Yuhua saw the map, he knew that it was a legit one.

Hei Yuhua asked, “Anything else?”

“These are the locations for the hidden warehouse where the Syndicate hides their drugs as well as the location of their secret laboratory. Also... Datura is planning to use the new drug for your lover and... he called his apprentice from the secret laboratory. This lady... I think she might be... connected to you by blood. Be careful.” said Fu Tian.

Hei Yuhua received too many clues at once and feels that these things from Fu Tian and the ones he got from his own investigations are enough to sweep through everything about the Red Poppy Syndicate.

Hei Yuhua ruffles Fu Tian’s hair gently and says, “Good work. For now, rest properly and you can’t leave the place Xu Meiji is bringing you to unless we allow you to.”

“A place Meiji would bring me to?” asked Fu Miyan, confused.

Holding a teleportation talisman in his hand, Xu Meiji held Fu Miyan’s hand.

Xu Meiji asked, “Can we go back now?”

“Yes. Though no one would dare to enter the condominium without permission, just in case I got some defensive items I left in the living room lower cabinets. There are guns and things like that there. Keep it within reach. Go back for now. I will check on Datura’s laboratory. Ah! Right? I forgot to explain a few things.” said Hei Yuhua.

Xu Meiji nods his head but no longer heard what Hei Yuhua had said after he was told to go back while Fu Miyan is still confused about the conversation between the two.

“What are you guys talking about?” asked Fu Miyan.

Before he could ask more Xu Meiji had already torn the teleportation talisman and the figure of the two students disappeared in thin air.

“Wait... I’m not done... talking!” Hua Yuhua felt helpless at Xu Meiji’s actions and sigh, “Let Meiji explain things to his friend then...”

Then he left the library with the things Fu Tian had given him and headed back to the Infirmary to prepare a few things before he checked on the hidden laboratory of Datura within the Crossfield Private High School.
