Chapter 642: 12.44 Unknown Star – Modern ABO World: Escapee Hua Heiyu

After Ye Yuyan left the public restroom. He heads straight to the police car parked at the gas station. He didn’t hesitate to take down the dashcam inside the car and watch the recording. Standing beside him are Wei Lou and Jie Yun. There is only a recording so they haven’t known anything about the pheromones Hua Heiyu had released to take over the control of the mind of that unlucky police officer.

They watched as Hua Heiyu sat in the back seat of the police car with his arm tied to the car handle inside the car. He was staying silent as he looked at the scenery outside the car window with a nonchalant expression on his face. In the video, they can see the police officer peeking at Hua Heiyu as if he was intoxicated by his beauty. Everyone who had met Hua Heiyu knew that he was a very beautiful young man who had a gentle and elegant demeanor which made others easily like him.

Suddenly they heard the police talking nonsense out of nowhere.

The Police officer in the driver’s seat, “Hm? What is this fragrance? Mint? Flower?”

The three who were watching the video only heard Hua Heiyu saying the following sentences and noticed the reaction of the police officer who was with him inside the car acting weird. Jie Yun commented, “This smile is not for you. It is for him...” he gestured with his chin that the last smile Hua Heiyu had flashed at the camera and was recorded was left for Ye Yuyan. This psychopathic genius obviously predicted that Prosecutor Ye would notice the dashcam in the police car which most people hadn’t taken notice of.

“It seems that... He knew your personality too well. Does that mean you also know where he should have gone next?” asked Jie Yun.

With silent anger swirling in his heart, Ye Yuyan clicked his tongue and replied, “... Yes, I think I know where he is... Sigh~ that damn brat!” muttered Prosecutor Ye as he walked away from the gas station walking towards the nearby café which one would pass by before reaching the gas station.

Wei Lou, Jie Yun, and Officer Ying Wu were dumbfounded by the hidden yet simple-looking Café by the road. The exterior of the store was made to complement the surrounding forestry. It looks like it’s made from expensive wood and possesses a semi-modern and eco-friendly design that both looks aesthetic and minimalist.

The ambiance this cafe emits is that of the natural beauty of nature and modernism in it. Since the store is near the road, only those who pass by the highway would be able to come and visit the cafe. Just based on some luxurious yet low-key expensive cars at the distant parking lot offered by the store, this place seems to be available only for elite and wealthy people to visit. The store also ensures privacy for those who want a silent environment and to enjoy nature at their own pace.

Wei Lou who looks like a thug, Officer Ying Wu in his police uniform, and Ye Yuyan who looks like a drunkard received scrutinizing gazes from the customers of the cafe. Only Jie Yun looks a bit compatible with the location set as he was wearing a comfortable suit on him.

Jie Yun leads him to his suit coat. He watched as Ye Yuyan, who was wearing a white t-shirt, wore the suit coat over and even combed up his hair into a semi-formal attire. The languidness of his eyes disappeared and was replaced with a serious gaze as he rearranged his cuff and buttoned up his clothes. His casual demeanor completely changed from a handsome drunkard to an elite-looking man.

Ye Yuyan glared at him and said with a threatening cold tone, “You shut your mouth.”

Ye Yuyan ignored him and said to Officer Ying Wu, “Watch over them. If they try to escape, just shoot them down.”

Jie Yun said, “So noisy.”

“What did you say!?” said Wei Lou as he grabbed Jie Yun’s collar.

Jie Yun looked at him calmly yet coldly, “Let go if you still want your hand.”

“Don’t fight here. How embarrassing!” said Officer Ying Wu.

Ye Yuyan ignored them and headed to the café to look for the runaway criminal. His face is not good obviously his mood is not on the right side. His steps were heavy as if he didn’t wish to walk towards this place but he couldn’t do anything but follow the plan he and his wife had made as the Syndicate had once again made contact with Hei Yuhua even in his disguised form.

The real reason why Hei Yuhua in the identity of Hua Heiyu noticed the signs of summoning from the Syndicate. He saw a person in a black suit with a face unfamiliar to him holding a bouquet of red hydrangeas in his hand by the window of the police car which was on its way to the shrubs.

Nightshade spoke, “You must do anything to seduce that Demon Prosecutor. Make sure to keep him away from our main mission locations. I don’t mind if you sacrifice the small ones.”

“That’s quite a tough job. The meaning is the same as before. I will only do it if you let me meet the leader. Otherwise, forget giving me missions.” said Hei Yuhua.

Nightshade chuckles, “I will convey it to the leader. You are a newbie executive, it wouldn’t be possible to let you meet Poppy without any achievements.”

“Speak. What do you want me to do,” asked Hei Yuhua.

Nightshade spoke, “Hydra, keep the police away from the pier at the end of this month. Hyacinth and Azalea would step into the country by water. If you do it, I will pass your message to the leader.”

“Good. Your current teammates are already here. I will leave you here to rejoin them. Good luck, Hydrangea.” said Nightshade who took his leave after paying for the drink and desserts Hei Yuhua had ordered.

The small space in front of Hei Yuhua was filled with small empty plates. There seem to be traces of varying cake icing and flavorings.

Nightshade was wearing a business suit and his disguise was that of a foreigner with light blonde hair. His white suit made him look like a prince and his fox-shaped eyes paired with a pair of violet eyes were captivating enough. As for whether this is his real appearance no one knows.

Hei Yuhua heard System Yang’s comment about Nightshade’s appearance.

‘What do you think, System Yang? Is that his real face?’ asked Hei Yuhua in his mind.

System Yang said, [He is wearing a human mask, but those pairs of eyes are real.]

“A fox-like yet deadly person with purple irises. No wonder he calls himself Nightshade.”

System Yang commented, [That’s not a ‘he’. It’s a woman with a build closer to a male. It’s a female alpha.]

‘What!? Nightshade is a woman!?’ exclaimed Hei Yuhua in his thoughts.
