Chapter 1066 Stencil’s Long-Term Advantage

Name:I Hate Systems Author:Overlord_Venus
Stencil focused on Minhua's Constellation. Even though the Constellation seemed to be one person, it wasn't.

It consisted of a set of people that had performed almost similar feats and were recognised by the masses to be similar. Their collective consciousness data was extracted from the world and transformed into a Constellation that now resided within the Tower of Accomplishment.

Thanks to World War Three, plenty of heroes emerged, some known, some unknown. The data of countless such similar ones was enough for Stencil to create almost seventy Constellations, which was more than enough for this world to run and develop for a few thousand years.

Moreover, the same setup existed in the tower too. As people of renown die within the tower, they too might become a Constellation one day. Stencil had established all the necessary rules for that too.

She originally had Collective Consciousness as part of her mind. These Collective Consciousnesses merged into the concepts produced in the 24 Rings world to then grant power to everyone that inherited the same concept or a set of concepts as part of a collective.

Zaira had fused those aspects to allow Stencil to create and wield Constellations that did her bidding. The fact that Stencil had the power of the Dragon of Systems further allowed her to extract and process data into quantifiable concepts. This was why she could create Constellations.

The Constellations remained in their original world, but when necessary, Stencil could employ their powers.

This made her growth one of the most unique even among Grade 3 Systems. Though of course, her potential ended at Grade 3. She had zero hopes of attaining Grade 4, just like the rest of the Grade 3 Systems.

But even attaining the peak of Grade 3 would require millions of years of accumulation. That was a long life to live and accumulate Mental Energy for.

In terms of a Grade 3 System, Stencil—the Constellation System—was one of the youngest.

Stencil exited the alternate Earth, having completed her task of changing its laws to her desire. Now, unless necessary, this world would continue as such wherein it would be filled with people that challenge the tower and seek to gain recognition of the all-powerful Constellations.

And these Constellations would continue to empower her, accumulating strength for her nonstop while also paving way for the birth of new Constellations. It was a beneficial cycle.

Eventually, they would accumulate enough to pump her through the levels of Grade 3 faster. After all, the Mental Energy gained by most Grade 3 Systems was for a short duration.

Consider the Apocalypse System, for example. It gained Mental Energy when the people experienced the apocalypse. Once people adapted to the changed world and society stabilised, it was no longer an apocalypse.

It meant the Apocalypse System would stop gaining suitable Mental Energy from that world. The situation was the same for the Waning Essence System, World Spirit System, and the rest. Even Gehera, the Ruination System was pretty much the same.

In that regard, Stencil was superior in the sense the worlds she changed would continue to supply her Mental Energy forever, similar to a Grade 2 System, but vastly superior to them.

The quality of her Mental Energy was inferior to the other Grade 3 Systems that harvested a torrent of Mental Energy in a short time frame, but the quantity she gained made up for it.

Moreover, the quality of Mental Energy generated by the first generation that challenged the tower was almost on par with the Mental Energy received by the other Grade 3 Systems.

So eventually, her passive accumulation of strength would allow her to level up the fastest and bring her to the peak of Grade 3.

"So, work hard in forging a legend of your own that the rest of your Clan can follow." Her figure condensed above the void of her world as Stencil stared at Minhua. Systems couldn't exist beyond the System World unless they were within a Host.

But, they wouldn't instantly die. A Hatchling System would vaporise in a matter of seconds. But even a high-level Grade 1 System could exist for a few days before succumbing to death.

For a Grade 3 System, the dissipation every second was minuscule.

Even if she were to remain for a few years, she wouldn't lose much of her body. She would only need to spend twice the duration accumulating Mental Energy to recover from the damage. Such was a Grade 3 System's foundation.

As a result, Stencil could calmly observe the fruits of her labour in this changed world.

Once Minhua finished the 46th Floor Boss, she gained the qualifications to challenge the 47th Floor. But instead, she returned to the 21st Floor to rest and recuperate. She intended to use her powers as an Alchemist to craft potions and heal the injuries sustained by her tamed beasts.

She also needed to take care of her Clan and make plans for the future.

"Congratulations on succeeding in defeating the 46th Floor Boss, Minhua." Her first husband said cheerfully the moment she arrived.

"Congratulations to you too. I heard you cleared the 43rd Floor." Minhua smiled happily, "It's only a matter of time before we can challenge the tower together."

"I just received my Sub-Class. Once I get accustomed to it, I'll quickly catch up." He smiled in confidence.

"You mean…?" Minhua's eyes widened as she jumped in excitement, "You managed to get that Sub-Class?"

"Yes, I'm the tower's first Refiner." He laughed smugly. A Class was typically a battle-related profession. Everyone that passed the tutorial gained a Class. A Sub-Class was an auxiliary profession without any combat potential. It consisted of Chefs, Blacksmiths, Painters, etc.

And gaining a Sub-Class was agonisingly difficult since only when someone stumbled upon a Quest would they gain the qualification. Beyond that, they need to complete the Quest.

Among all the Sub-Classes, Refiner was the most valuable and the hardest to attain. The moment Minhua gained knowledge regarding it, she invested extensively in it. It was why she expended all her accumulated wealth to purchase the entirety of the 21st Floor.

After all, the Quest regarding the Refiner Sub-Class was only available here. As for others challenging the tower, they could only roam through some public grounds of the 21st Floor before having to go up to the 22nd Floor. Or they could pay a lease fee to gain access to some areas on the 21st Floor.

Of course, Minhua would restrict all areas with value, especially the Refiner Sub-Class Quest.

"With this Sub-Class being our exclusive privilege, it's only a matter of time before we become the strongest Clan in the tower." Minhua's eyes shone with voracity.
