Chapter 967 Shukagat Village

Name:I Hate Systems Author:Overlord_Venus
The greater the number of believers, the stronger their faith, and the greater the worship; it would result in a strong Deity.

Conversely, if the number of believers dwindled, the Deity's strength would take a sharp hit. So in this power system, none could take a resolutely strong position.

After all, the strength of a Deity depended on the strength of its people. So, even if Compass Carburettor were to become exceptionally powerful, once he clashes against his enemies, his people would take a hit due to the war.

Through war, their numbers would be reduced, which would directly weaken him. Considering how there were four enemies, even if Compass Carburettor were to grow to become the strongest in this world, he would be brought down on his knees.

And in the current situation, there was a guaranteed possibility that his and Arnark's development would go neck-in-neck. It meant the outcome of their fight didn't depend on them but on the remaining four individuals.

The Secondary System should win against the coalition of Martial, Invader, and Waning Essence. Otherwise, the addition of even a single enemy to the fight between Compass Carburettor and Arnark would tip the scales in Arnark's favour by a guaranteed extent.

'So, even if I were to go to war, I would have to emerge stronger by its end. Otherwise, I'll be caught up in a vicious cycle of my demise.' Compass Carburettor thought in response, 'Therefore, if I were to be a Deity, I should become one with authority over healing powers.'

"So, even without a Deity's protection, you guys are living a life of content." Compass Carburettor nodded, acting like he was thinking for a couple of seconds before staring at the sibling duo to ask, "So, why did you awaken me?"

"We…awakened you?" Pneua was surprised at the revelation.

"Yeah," Compass Carburettor nodded calmly, "Otherwise, I would have continued to remain one with the ground."

"Your Lordship,

"Fine, I might as well do that." Compass Carburettor patted the boar's head, having already tamed it thanks to his experience data, "I wonder how much the world changed since I last witnessed it."

"We hope it's to your liking." Pnolli nudged Pneua who took the lead to guide Compass Carburettor to the village. The sibling duo walked on either side of the boar that slowly made its way towards the village.

Compass Carburettor was seated on the boar. It was better to go on a mount instead of on foot, for it was more imposing. Moreover, he didn't catch it or anything. It was just there when he woke up, so he decided to use it as his mount without harming it, truly Deity-like.

The journey was mostly silent since he didn't express any intentions to speak, silently observing the state of things. There was still a lot that he wasn't aware of, and hence, he needed the calmness to gather his thoughts.

'Stencil will be safe for the time being. With Gehera and Earth Star accompanying her, things would be stable. They have resources from the Invader System's 168 worlds to consume and develop, not to mention the Serpent which is an entire universe. That foundation is more than enough for thousands of years of vigorous development. The war would temper them well.' He thought.

'Only entities at the peak of Grade 3 or one of the major Genre Representatives would be able to break through the Serpent if they discover it. So, from within, none of the enemies have the ability to do so.' He sighed in relief, 'They should be safe for the time being. After all,'

He stared at the sky, 'It seems I'll be in this world for a while.'

Before he unleashed his Genre Representation, Compass Carburettor made an arrangement with Truck-Kun. In the unlikely case Zaira or Slayer were to find the Serpent and place Stencil, Gehera, and Earth Star in a precarious situation, he would come to their rescue.

Of course, Truck-Kun wouldn't fight on their behalf. That wasn't in his nature. He was only on their side before because he wanted to transmigrate them. And Compass Carburettor indeed fulfilled that wish, allowing Truck-Kun a ride through the System World too.

So, he would never fight for them ever again. Therefore, the agreement only extended to Truck-Kun transporting the trio of Stencil, Gehera, and Earth Star to a universe far away from Zaira's reach.

Or if the situation was precarious enough, he would take them straight into one of Mystique's worlds. Considering their level of power, they would remain safe in a moderately dangerous world under Mystique.

Even Zaira would think twice to target those worlds.

Moreover, he had gotten a map from Truck-Kun which consisted of routes to traverse through the multiverse. He had embedded that, along with the key to control the Serpent in Gehera's mind.

And one such location on the map was a world under Mystique. That was the Serpent's destination. Moreover, once they reach there, the Serpent would go around the outer boundaries of the worlds under Mystique.

The moment Zaira attacked them, the Serpent would head deeper. This was the contingency plan that he had prepared, 'So, they'll be safe. Now,'

He took in a deep breath, 'I have to survive somehow. Arnark alone is a headache, but there are three more nuisances to worry about. I only hope Adventure can pull its weight.'

He was aware that the Secondary System was the Money-Making System. After all, the fate connecting it and Stencil was apparent enough. So, he put two and two together to understand its origin, also gaining information regarding the Secondary System admonishing Zaira in the end.

Through that, he came to know about its origin.

"Your Lordship, this is Shukagat Village," Pneua said in excitement once they traversed the thicket of trees and came across a forest clearing, staring at rows upon rows of houses situated amidst massive farmland.

The moment they arrived, the villagers in the closest piece of farmland observed them and noticed the conspicuous figure of Compass Carburettor riding a massive boar. There was unrest the moment they noticed his coloured hair.
