Chapter 844 God Bloodline

Name:I Hate Systems Author:Overlord_Venus
Boom!

"Attack!" Slayer unleashed a mighty roar, leading an army to target a fantasy world filled with various races such as elves, dwarves, etc.

The thing about this world was the fact that just like the Hunter Worlds, those forming the upper echelon of society here were Warriors, similar to Hunters. And they were all Hosts to fragments of their respective Grade 2 Systems.

Currently, this world was being targeted by Slayer to harvest the System Fragments.

Roar!

A dragon took flight and opened its mouth, condensing a sphere of lightning in its mouth before unleashing an earth-shattering beam, targeting part of the army behind Slayer to instantly obliterate them.

"Tch, even after I killed you once," Slayer glared in anger and targeted the Dragon, pummelling it to the ground before raining down giant metal swords on it.

Even though Slayer killed and devoured the Grade 2 Dragon System in the war, it was only a portion of the System. After all, only toward the end did the Grade 2 Systems recall the entirety of their strength.

As the Dragon System was killed prior to that, it only lost a portion of itself on the battlefield. The remainder of it present in the various worlds was still there.

And for the past few decades, it worked on furiously rebuilding itself to recover some of its lost strength.

Of course, Slayer had no intention to allow the Systems to recover from the damage of the war, immediately targeting the worlds ranked 'B' or above in terms of their Mental Energy quality by the System World. This was one such world.

Swoosh!

Arnark took in a deep breath to create a sphere of liquid metal before him that expanded in size before raining down on the ground like bullets, targeting only the creatures with a System fragment inside.

For those with a large enough fragment, he hunted them personally.

"Tch, this doesn't have a Coordinate either." He clicked his tongue, vaporising the body of a Dwarf before trailing his gaze over to an Elf nearby, grinning upon seeing the other party flee in fear.

Boom!

With a punch, he shattered the other party's head, clenching his fist as he first extracted all the information of the System Fragment inside, pouring it onto his Relic to form an imprint before plunging his hand into the Elf's heart, grinning as he pulled out a tiny Coordinate, "It's around a Level 3 System's Coordinate, but its better than nothing."

He swallowed the Coordinate, noticing a minor, almost infinitesimal increase in his strength, sighing as he thought, 'I need to ingest Coordinates of Systems at least around level 80s and above to notice any difference now.'

Thump! Thump!

"Wait a second…" His eyes lit up all of a sudden before his face parted way into a wide, unsettling grin. Transforming into a ray of light, he teleported to a secluded mountain of this world, landing on the branch of a tree to stare at the meditating figure of a middle-aged man.

Though, despite his arrival, the other party didn't seem bothered, continuing his meditation as the water from the waterfall gently cascaded over his shoulders. But despite the downpour, his entire being was dry, invoking a feeling of oppressive serenity in the minds of others.

"You must be Arnark," The eyes of the man shot open, revealing scaly eyes that calmly gazed at the other party, showing no ounce of fear. "I was expecting your arrival."

"Now, this is surprising," Arnark's eyes widened as he uttered, "I never thought the Systems managed to accomplish something as absurd as this."

"Where were they hiding someone like you all along?"

"A lot of things happened while you were dead, Arnark." The man spoke calmly, still seated under the waterfall, "Did you seriously believe the Systems maintained their hegemony just by relying on a few tricks up their sleeves?"

"I think you're underestimating the Genre Representatives way too much." The man let out a wry smile, "The Genre Representative did nothing not because of their conflicting natures, but because of us,"

"Our actions kept them conflicted for eons."

"Hmm…" Arnark frowned, his stance gradually turning serious as soon after, his gaze trembled, "I see, so that is how things play out, heh."

"As expected of the Main Character," The man nodded as immediately, the sky was blanketed as the eyes of a prehistoric being glared at the world. Just its eye alone was bigger than the world, alarming Slayer, for only he and the System Hosts were able to see this entity.

'Is this a Grade 3 System?' Slayer frowned, noticing his hands trembling in fear, 'I am…trembling? That is impossible! My strength is on par with a Grade 3 System too.'

A second later, the eye vanished. But right as he felt confused, Slayer's expression morphed as he grunted in strain, "Keuk!"

His figure was rapidly slammed from the skies and deep into the ground as a formless pressure kept pressing him to the ground, causing even his body to develop cracks.

"Master!" Arnark was alarmed at the scene, unable to understand just what that mysterious entity was, 'If Zaira had such a powerful being on her side, why didn't she bring it to the battle.'

'No wait,' Only now did a certain piece of information surface in his memory, 'While in the process of taking over a world, a Grade 3 System focuses the entirety of its power on that world, unable to stop or break away from the process, which is why it always works in seclusion.'

'Yes, this was why only the Regression System managed to arrive at the battlefield and why only a few of the Grade 3 Systems made their presence. The remainder were working on taking over their respective worlds at that time.' He was startled, "You mean…Apocalypse System isn't the strongest in Grade 3?"

"After it lost a level in the war, it isn't the strongest anymore. Also, there's one more reason." The man grinned, suddenly exploding with power that sent Arnark crashing into the opposite mountain, "Also, ever since Immortal died, there has been a massive vacuum left behind in his concept. So, the Systems derived from concepts of Cultivation Worlds have experienced massive growth in strength."

"We lost Tell-Tale, but instead gained all the concepts part of the Cultivation Genre, allowing the respective Systems to surpass their prior selves in strength. And hence," He smirked, "We have a new supreme among Grade 3 Systems."

"Aaargh!" Slayer's screams resounded throughout the world as the eye returned to the void, overlooking the world.

Grade 3 System—God Bloodline (Level 299)!
