And given the fact that most of these demons had lived for hundreds of years, how couldn't they see that Elric was planning something notorious.

None of the demons chose to return, rather they all continued to press forward as if they were unaware of Elric's plan

However, even at that the demon's situation soon became seriously worse.

Now a week had passed since the full-on invasion of death valley, and the death toll can be said to have been phenomenal

With things like various infightings occurring in different places, to millions of demons losing their lives to Elric's arrangements.

Just judging by the situation alone, it wouldn't be too long until the demons were completely exterminated as a whole

After all, as members of the said race, they were more than able to tell their current condition

And due to this, almost every demon knew their chances of getting the blood ruby were minimal at best

However, this wasn't the case for too long.

Two weeks into the constant battles and traps, Unknowingly a new rumour had begun to spread

According to the rumour, the reason why Elric did all of this was to get the abyss demons to kill themselves and spill blood

Then long as enough blood has soaked the land the blood ruby would naturally reveal itself

This rumour based on its level of realistic nature soon spread like wildfire through death valley

After all, if this wasn't the case then why did a human plan such a thing

Leak the ruby's location

Purposely lure and trap them here in this death valley

Just thinking of it made almost all the demons sure that this was the plan Elric had in mind

However, even if that was the case, one question still bothered everyone.

'Who spread the rumour?'

Like all rumours, it obviously had to have a source,

Unfortunately, no matter how much the Demons collaborated and searched, no results could be found.

It wasn't until it reached the point that someone proposed it to be Elric that spread the rumour that these demons started feeling afraid

Looking at Baphomet who had a gloomy face with arms crossed, a slime giant slime abyss demon wiggled opposite him expressing his thoughts

Listening to the slimes words, Baphomet who was already on edge quickly suddenly out

As for Baphomet, while the slime remained silent he began clenching his fists.

Just thinking of everything that had happened this past week, it could be said that Baphomet was already on brink of exploding

And unfortunately, all this stemmed from Baphomet's first surprise attack on Elric when he entered the abyss

The demons after getting the information of that attack, one by one started capturing him and investigating all information he had

Especially once when he was caught by an abyss prince in charge in hell fire and burnt alive throughout the whole day

All so he could confess the location of Elric which he had no idea about.

Now one week later, and finding himself sitting beside gluttony the slime prince here

Baphomet couldn't help but lash out at them due to stress from the previous investigations

Thankfully perhaps it is because of his slime nature, but out of all the abyss demons princes, gluttony can be said to be relatively calm one

In fact, according to rumours Baphomet once heard, gluttony might be the clone of mammoth trying to gain the devouring authority

Just thinking of this made Baphomet who had just finished lashing out scared to pee

"Oh? Have you finally calmed down?"

"If you have then, please tell me everything you know about this human"

Wiggling slightly, the blue-coloured slime demon prince conveyed its thoughts to Baphomet through its mind.

Seeing this, Baphomet who had begun to wonder how it talked couldn't help but scratch his head embarrassedly

However, after laughing for a bit, he quickly shook his head

Talking to himself, Baphomet quickly realised this wasn't the time to play and quickly composed himself ready to speak

"Sigh… here goes nothing!"

Taking a deep breath, although still slightly nervous Baphomet faced him gluttony with a fierce expression

"Lord gluttony, please forgive me"

"Although I do not know much about the human, but I'll do my best to inform you on all I can!"
