Chapter 165 Space Crack To The Abyss (II)

Name:I created Magic! Author:Ghost_Worker
"Right this way headmaster, the crack is right over here"

Taking the lead, Melinda quickly took Elric to its location, along which she began to narrate everything that has happened so far.

"Headmaster, although it might look stable, however from time to time it's released a burst of red sparks"

"And the thing about these sparks is that anything it comes in contact with is instantly eroded."

Speaking about these sparks, Melinda's body began to shiver slightly.

"From the smallest of stones to the talked f trees, everything it came in contact with was destroyed"

"Some mutated and became twisted monsters, while others were reduced to a pile of red ash"

"Luckily, my sisters and I were quick to react and quickly took down the monsters while making sure to avoid its edge"

Hearing Melinda say this Elric wasn't all too surprised, after all as a portal leading to the abyss what's weird about it having the abyss's same assimilation ability?

In fact, before arriving here this was a major worry on Elric's mind.

If one of them got accidentally infected, Elric knew there was no guarantee they could become abyss mages like Alvin.

So now hearing Melinda describe its assimilation ability in use, Elric breathed a sigh of relief.

Unlike before when he knew nothing about the portal, after hearing this from Melinda, he at least knew what to avoid.

Soon time passed, and while Elric was thinking, Melinda's voice suddenly rang in his ear.

"We're here headmaster!"

Signalling for Elric and George behind her to come forward, the three of them had finally reached the space crack position.

"Welcome headmaster!" Shouted all the Amazons guarding the space crack.

Morgana and eleven other Amazons, each equipped with the latest set of rune weapons, stood on both sides of the space crack.

With serious expressions each ready to make a move once something happened, it was only with Elric's arrival that they broke into smiles

Yes, smiles.

During these last few weeks, and during the war, Elric can be said to have thoroughly won the respect of the Amazons

Be it strength, wisdom, or power.

Just following Elric most of them believed he could lead their Amazon tribe to greater heights

Unfortunately, Elric was currently unaware of their current thoughts, rather he was just happy with their change of attitude.

Raising his hand to give a small greeting in return, Elric quickly turned his gaze to the main reason for coming here today.

The space crack!

Just standing in front of it, Ekric could sense a dense amount of mana emanating from with it

With its blood-red colour and ominous aura, Ekric would have believed if someone told him the end of the world was on the opposite side.

Not only that, but just now as he looked at it, Elric seemed to feel another gaze on the opposite end staring right back at him.

"Oh? Who was that?"

"Could it be that was the Asmodeus they were always talking about?"

Feeling the opposite gaze, rather than being scared, Elric's curious nature started to get the best of him.

"If the owner of that gaze is actually Asmodeus, then this might be fun"

"After all, according to what the demons back then said their lord Asmodeus is too powerful to come directly "

"Since that's the case, then should I anger him for a bit?"

Just from the fact that the owner of the eyes only glared at him and had no other action, Elric knew he was safe for now.

However, after thinking for a bit, Elric quickly shook his head trying to take that idea off his mind.

"No! There's no need to push your luck"

"What if he has enough power to forcefully tear through the restrictions and squash me like a bug"

"No need to take risks, let's just follow the plan and as for the gaze, I'll ignore it too "

Calming himself down, Elric resisted the urge to make fun of the mighty Asmodeus as revenge for what happened during the war he caused

Just thinking about it now made Elric's blood boil

Tens of students lost their lives, while hundreds became injured

Due to this, a last backyard wing was built in Hogwarts.

A place for the souls of fellow students to find peace

A place where the living pay their respects to the dead

A place where the dead may lie without the fear of disturbance.

Yes, you guessed it, the place that was built after the war was none other than a graveyard.

And with its completion, whether a dead body was found, or whether it wasn't found,

As long as the person was named dead, each person was given a personal hand-written tombstone by Elric.

Thinking back to the lifeless faces of his students then, a nameless rage began to fill Elric's heart.

*Calm down Elric, now's not the time to act , you're still too weak*

*Once you're strong enough, whether it be God or Demon, all would pay*

Speaking in his mind, Elric wisely did not call Asmodeus's name out loud

After all, since gods can sense it whenever their name is called, who says demons can't?

Thinking of this, Elric felt he should be extra careful now that Asmodeus might be watching.

"Young master, why did you suddenly stop?" Asked George

Looking at Elric who suddenly paused in front of the portal George couldn't help but be slightly confused

*Did something happen?* He thought

Unfortunately, no one answered his question as Elric was still talking to himself in his mind and the Amazons were equally confused by his sudden pause

It wasn't until after a few minutes that Elric snapped out of it.

"It's nothing George, something just came to mind, I'll tell you about that later"

"Now we have to deal with this abyss crack in front of us*

Waving his hand to indicate he was fine, Elric's eyes turned serious as he began to communicate with Ava in his mind.
