Chapter 162 Experiment Begins!

Yes, after a series of simulations with the A.i chip, Elric decided to use Davis as a test subject for two reasons mainly.

One is because Elric was confident in his skills, even if something went wrong he was sure to protect Davis from harm.

And two, Elric wanted to use this as an opportunity to test Davis' will, just how much was he willing to risk for the wizarding profession.

In fact, Although he might not show it, but Elric put a lot of hope and effort into it, after all this was his only ticket to survival in the dangerous world named Elias.

This was the thought in Elric's mind as he looked toward Davis waiting for his reaction.

Thankfully, when Davis finally did react, his answer did not disappoint Elric.

"Yes young master, I agree!"

Without any ounce of hesitation, Davis replied almost Immediately stating his affirmation.

Seeing this happen, Elric modded with satisfaction.

Taking a look at Davis, all of a sudden he seemed to be more pleasing in Elric's eye.

"Alright Davis relax, this might sting a bit"

Holding his right arm slowly over Davis' chest, Elric warned him.

Listing to this, Elric wasn't too surprised after all, regarding all the fights he's been through plus the previous war

A lot of dark wounds are bound to have piled up in Davis's body, so much so that the fact that he was up to ninety-four percent surprised Elric a bit

*Maybe it's because his body is stronger making his injuries heal a lot faster and better?*

Although not sure, that was the best answer Elric could think of at the moment.

*However it doesn't matter, ninety four percent is more than enough for me*

Murmuring under his lips, Elric began to act.

"First step, gather mana in the heart!!"

With a loud shout, Elric used his mental power to gather the surrounding mana into Davis's heart

Unfortunately, With Elric's movements, Davis seemed to be in excruciating pain as his screams resounded throughout the office.

Coupled with his popped eyes and bulging veins, it was difficult to imagine what kind of pain he was going through

Like a clock owned by the God of death, the countdown on Davis' life began with his declining health rate.

However, hearing the words of the A.I. chip, Elric didn't release the mana, rather he continued to power it into Davis's heart

"Hold on Davis! If you give up now you'll miss this opportunity!"

Looking at Davis who was in pain Elric quickly shouted words of encouragement trying to sour him on, thankfully it worked

Hearing Elric's words, Davis who was still in pain clenched down hard on his teeth as he tried to hold back his screams.

Seeing this, Elric couldn't help but be surprised, although he wasn't the one experiencing it.

But just from the simulation results, Elric equated the pain should be about equivalent to giving birth to a child.

So looking at Davis who was holding back his pain, Elric admired his tenacity.

"Good, since you can hold on, onto the next step"

"Form the rune circle!"

Focusing his mental power on the mana gathered in Davis's heart, Elric with the help of the A.I chip began to copy what was within the mana core

"Damn this is not easy!"

Wiping beads of sweat from his forehead Elric couldn't help but curse out loud.

Normal if he had the mental power of an average wizard, it would take about a month to draw this mana circle

Meaning it takes normally a month to become a first-circle wizard

However now, Elric was overexerting himself trying to complete it on Davis in a few minutes

And worst of all, time was not on his side

Hearing this, Elric knew he didn't have much time left.

"Almost there….."

"Done!"

Connecting the last rune, the mana which existed in a gaseous form in Davis's heart had been completely cleared out leaving only a shiny blue rune circle

Feeling its existence, Elric was satisfied however, this was not the end

"Last but not least, insert a natal rune in between the circle to maintain stability!"

Saying this, Elric quickly began to draw a thunder rune from the thunder bunny in between the core since the circle was derived from the same beast's

According to Elric's guess, using the same natal rune as the circle would exponentially increase the success rate.

And after a few seconds, Elric knew he was right

*Boom!*

With the completion of the thunder rune, Davis' body burst out with jolts of lightning signalling his success.

Obviously, Davis had become a first-circle thunder wizard.
