Chapter 88 Elric Arrives!

"It's called magic!"

Hearing Alvin's answer, the curiosity on Ristarte's face didn't diminish but rather it increased.

Magic!

This was a word that he had never heard in his hundreds of years of life, now hearing that such a thing could allow weak humans to harness the power of elements, how couldn't he be curious

Looking at Alvin, his gaze towards him became intense

Although he didn't know what this magic was, but Ristarte knew that whatever it was would definitely be something important

Realising this, he decided to take Alvin and Davis immediately back to the abyss and give them to Asomdeus to avoid any other abyss demon discovering them

Yes other abyss demons, given the fact that the abyss crack suddenly appeared and led him here, Ristarte could be hundred percent sure that no other abyss demons found the crack and cane though.

So to avoid other demons from discovering Alvin and Davis and stealing his merits with Asmodeus, Ristarte knew he had to act quickly.

Stretching out his wings, he waved toward Alvin stopping him from continuing

"That's enough!"

"I've decided, you'll tell me more about this magi of yours once you need my lord Asmodeus!"

Not giving Alvin a chance to react, Ristarte suddenly stretches his arms toward him

*Boom!*

Under Alvin's shocked gaze, an incredible scene happened before his eyes

Although the distance between the two of them was more than a few metres, just when Alvin thought Ristartes arm was going to fall short, something unbelievable happened

As if the world was pressing on his shoulders, Alvin felt an immense pressure descend on his shoulders

His teeth clenched and knees bent before he knew it Alvin had found himself immobile kneeling before Ristarte with only his lasted shocked expression imprinted on his face

And Ristarte looking at Alvin kneeling before him nodded in satisfaction

"Hew hew hew"

"Now, is that so hard? Who knows, if you and your buddy over there knelt down at the beginning, you might not have been injured so badly"

Looking at the unconscious Davis on his side, Ristarte had a look of regret on his face

Sighing slightly he made his way toward Alvin.

On Alvin's side, due to the immense pressure being emitted on his body, Alvin could only watch helplessly as Ristarte taunted him as he made his way closer

Kneeling down, Alvin suddenly felt it was all over

*I'm sorry young master, I've let you down!*

Thinking of this, Alvin closed his eyes signalling his giving up

*Boom!*

Just when Alvin had closed his eyes preparing for himself to be captured, he suddenly heard a loud boom followed Which was a huge heatwave almost scalding his face

Opening his eyes, Alvin saw a scene that almost left him bursting with tears

A huge fireball suddenly descended on Ristarte's figure which was about to reach him

And feeling the mana emanating from the fireball, a name suddenly came to Alvin's mind

Elric!

Feeling the familiar presence of his young master, Alvin suddenly felt relieved knowing that Elric had come to their rescue

But after a few seconds, Alvin felt worried again after all after fighting with Ristarte just now, and looking at the now fainted Davis, Alvin didn't think Elric stood a chance against him

Unfortunately due to whatever Ristarte did to him, he could only kneel and hope for the best

*Young master, I hope nothing goes wrong*

Sighing slightly, Alvin focused his attention on Ristarte

ELRIC POV

"Damnit!"

"Alvin! Davis! you both better be alright!"

Running towards their direction, Elric couldn't help but curse thinking about the news the remaining hunting squad brought back to him

According to them, they encountered a strange beast who Alvin and Davis sacrificed themselves to help them escape and that if he didn't arrive soon, they would most likely die

Just hearing it at first Elric thought they were exaggerating, but when he felt the connection between them and the small become weaker and weaker, Elric knew something was definitely wrong

Realising it was true, without waiting for them to explain the full situation, Elric immediately left Hogwarts and headed toward Alvin's and George's location

Thankfully, Elric found out that through their connection with the small world, he could vaguely pinpoint their location.

"According to my feeling, they should be around here!"

Increasing his speed, Elric finally arrived at the destination, however what he saw next made him turn cold

Davis laying fainted on the floor bleeding heavily with dense scratches on his body

Alvin kneeling down, covered with dense lacerations and scars

And a strange demon-like figure smiling as he walked toward Alvin

Seeing this blood couldn't help but rush towards Elric's head, looking at Davis whose life and death were currently unknown, and Alvin who was about to be next, Elric suddenly felt angry

Although it has only been a few months since he came to Elias, but Davis and Alvin are one of the few people Elric really bonded with. Now seeing both of them about to die Elric was filled with a flurry of emotions

Scared that one of the few people he could relate with was about to die, angry at not being strong enough to protect them and avoid this from happening, and disappointed in himself for not studying magic harder.

If only he studied a bit harder, maybe Alvin and Davis would be stronger and this situation would have happened or they would have at least been able to fight evenly till he arrived

Unfortunately, he had relaxed after setting up Hogwarts and now this situation had happened. Thinking of this Elric couldn't help but sigh

*Slap!*

*Snap out of it Elric, now's not the time to blame yourself!*

*Davis is already unconscious, and Alvin is about to be next, if you don't do something now then you'll probably regret it for the rest of your life*

Slapping his cheeks Elric quickly snapped himself out of it, looking at Ristarte's figure about to reach Alvin, Elric knew that it was now or never if he wanted to make a move

Summoning his spell book, Elric's expression turned serious.

Without hesitation, he channelled all his mana and all the mana he could borrow from others and cast the biggest spell he had cast so far

"Ultra mana fireball explosion!!!"
