Chapter 82 Meditation (II)

Closing her eyes, Lilith slowly fell into a trance.

She seemed to hear the sound of leaves as they fluttered through the air, she felt the direction of the wind as the blew on her skin, before she knew it, Lilith had already found herself one with nature

In fact, she wasn't the only one experiencing such a situation right now, as Nico, Aoma, as well as many others, had unknowingly entered such a deep state

Seeing all this happen through the window, Elric nodded in satisfaction, judging from the looks of things, the majority of the people present have good qualifications since they were able to enter meditation state so quickly

*However, it seems I'll need to keep an eye out for these three"

Looking at Nico, Aoma, and Lilith, Elric decided to focus more when teaching them if they succeeded.

*Oh right, while I'm free, I probably should update this*

After taking another quick look at them, Elric opened the draw beneath him

Bringing out a book, Elric smiled when he saw the title

'I created magic'

Thinking back to how he decided to write it back in freedom town and now, Elric suddenly realised that a lot of things have happened from then till now

"Haha, it's really funny, back then I wouldn't have thought I need to leave the main plane nor become a teacher"

Laughing at himself, Elric suddenly felt happy, back on the blue star this was something he never felt before

Waking up every day, unsure if you were going to be attacked by some God or inexplicable monster, afraid your identity as a transverser would be found out, frantically studying every day in order to gain enough power for self-preservation.

No matter what it was, the adrenaline rush that came with these things and the expectation towards the unknown future was something that Elric couldn't experience back then on the blue star.

Smiling slightly, for the first time in a long time, Elric felt his coming to this world wasn't maybe so bad.

"However, it seems like their about to be done meditating for the day"

Looking towards the window, Elric shook his head slightly, and Like he expected no one sensed mana during this try

"But it's to be expected, after all this is their first try"

Turning his face away from the window, Elric had already started preparing to leave, unknowingly in the process of reminiscing about the past and filling up his journal, a lot of time had already passed

So after cleaning up a bit, Elric successfully packed up his things and went off to accomplish his next agenda for the day.

LILITH POV

coming out of the practice room, Lilith had a dejected expression on her face, although Elric and George had repeatedly told them that it was almost impossible to sense mana on the first try, but after trying now and not succeeding, Lilith's mood couldn't help but slightly dampened

Even Aoma and Nico bedside her looked to be down as Aoma's fox ears slightly drooped clearly showing her state of emotion at the time while Nico just followed silently with a gloomy expression on his face

"...."

"Ummm.. hey Nico, Aoma, do you think we're going to successfully become wizards"

Breaking the silence, Lilith turned to Nico and Aoma, only this time without the earlier confidence in her voice.

Heading Lilith's question, the two of them suddenly paused, but after thinking about it for a while, none of them gave a response

Seeing this, Lilith already understood what they meant, obviously, they weren't so sure of themselves anymore.

*Ahem!*

Just when the three of them were about continue sulking, a cough caught their as well as everyone else's attention

Looking forward, George at some point had unknowingly gotten to their front

It just that this time unlike before, everyone was depressed about what just happened, so even if George was in their front them, they didn't take him too seriously

"Haha, everyone why are you so down"

"Could it be because none of you succeed?"

Giving a slight laugh, Goerge pretended to be ignorant although he knew what was going on, just to see their reactions, and just like he expected, their reactions were intense.

As soon as they heard George's words, all of them present could help but get a bit angry as the gloom on their face suddenly intensified, unfortunately for them, George had already expected this and ignored their reactions.

Ignoring their angry gaze, George continued speaking to them

"Could it be that none of you listened to what I said earlier?"

"It's impossible to succeed in one try! And since I already told you this, then why are you feeling down?"

Saying this, George couldn't help but gnash his teeth looking at them angrily, obviously he already told them beforehand, and yet they were still behaving like this.

Sure enough, after hearing George's words, the anger on everyone's faces visibly reduced, though they were still disappointed in themselves seeing they didn't succeed

Seeing this, George knew that it wouldn't be easy for them to get over it, hopefully, after tomorrow or the day after when people start succeeding, everyone would get their mood back up

"Okay okay, don't feel bad, after all tomorrow is another day"

"I'll still continue to guide you till a few of you succeed, so don't worry about anything for now, you've got this!"

Giving a thumbs up, George tried to cheer them up.

Thankfully maybe it was due to the face that he said he'd continue guiding them, but surprisingly some of their expressions had already improved, obviously, his words weren't for naught

Feeling their change in mood, George already knew he had done enough for today, so without hesitation, he began preparing to lead them back to their dormitories

"Alright everyone, you can go back to your forms in order to prepare for dinner later"

"Along the way, if you have any questions to ask me, just let me know"

Saying that George led them back with a smile
