Chapter 72 Wizard Apprentice

Wizard school!

Ever since Elric saw the primitives, this is an idea that has been at the back of his mind

*If this is successful, then we can start conquering and adding surrounding tribes triggering a snowball effect*

Elric could already imagine, with the continuous addition of students, it wouldn't be long before he had an army of wizards which he led back to the main plane with fierce momentum.

*However we have to see if their qualifications are alright, after all, it isn't so easy to become a wizard.*

According to Elric's research so far, becoming a wizard can be divided into three stages

One meditation, by meditating according to a certain frequency, one can subtly strengthen their soul till their able to sense magic elements in the atmosphere

Next, after sensing it, try using your mental power to arrange the mana particles in the shape of a rune in order to cast a spell, although this is extremely inefficient and mentally draining but repeated use can strengthen mental power and increase casting speed

And finally, when the mental power reaches a certain threshold and is strong enough you'll be able to look within and sense your soul space, or consciousness space. Once sensed try and draw a rune on it this rune can be released any time as long as there's enough mental power and mana available with little to no casting time

Think of the pain during the soul inscription process, Elric couldn't help but shiver slightly

Although he started from the soul inscription process, but thanks to the help of George, Davis, and Alvin, Elric successfully deduced the two realms behind it after all, not everyone has an A.I chip fused to his soul making him being able to sense it at the beginning

Normal people aren't able to sense their soul, thus needing it to be strengthened first

*However, although the soul inscription stage does have some combat power, it's still weak!*

Remembering the wind spell he had just cast, Elric was dissatisfied with this current combat power

*My current combat power is still miles away from what I envisioned a wizard should have"

"A second-level wizard apprentice has been able to draw inscriptions and cast various spells depending on his mental power

"A third-level wizard apprentice possess a soul inscription which serves as his natal spell, with it casting time is almost eliminated and the amount of mental power needed is reduced, unfortunately, it seems that human can only have one natal spell at the moment"

Thinking back to the situation of George and the others Elric felt like this might be a common situation all over Elias while he himself was special

*However I believe that there'll be a way to increase their upper limit in the future!"

Back then after finding the perfect spot and telling the primitives that they'd be living there, karion the old man and their leader Immediately declared the place a holy land and regarded it as a sacred spot for none to approach.

At this time in the 'sacred spot' in front of a thatched hut, George's figure could be seen leaning against the door with a glass of wine in his arms

Thankfully Elric didn't blame him much after all this month has been boring compared to their experiences before this, in fact apart from Sebastian who teaches the primitives every day, He, George, Alvin, and Davis have all picked up different hobbies in order to pass the time, and George's hobby just happened to be drinking

Looking at the Drunken figure in his front, Elric suddenly felt like snatching the wine bottle away from him

"George!"

Reaching his front, Elric shouted Immediately trying to gain his attention, lucky for Elric George didn't seem too drunk at the moment

"Hic-!"

"Haha young master, when did you get here? Could it be there's something for me to do?"

Thinking that there might be a chance to finally do something George Immediately became excited, after all apart from the first day the only thing he had done was put on a magic show in front of some primitives, Think of this George suddenly felt aggrieved

*Cough! cough!*

Coughing slightly, Elric could easily guess what George was thinking of given the fact that he was the one who gave him the order

"Ahem! George you're right, there is something you need to do!"

"In fact, this time not just you but also Alvin, Davis, Reinhard, and Aoma, all of you are going to be involved!"

Hearing this George's breath could help but stagnate as he thought of a certain possibility, and sure enough, Elric's next words confirmed

"I'm sure you've guessed it by now, but George!"
