Chapter 45 45: Red Orb

Xenos took a deep breath and looked at the huge door in front of them. He knew that this was where they would face their biggest challenge yet. He turned to his soldiers and the remaining members of Patriarch Song's clan and Elder Tan Zong's Blue Wind Sect.

"We have come this far together, and we will face this challenge together," Xenos said with determination in his voice. "But before we go in, I want to remind everyone that we must work together and watch out for each other. We have already lost many people, and we cannot afford to lose any more. Let's do this."

With a nod from his soldiers and the remaining members of the other groups, Xenos pushed open the door, and they stepped inside.

The room was large and dark, with torches lighting up the perimeter. Everyone saw what looked like the leader of the green monsters, an enormous green monster, with bulging muscles and sharp teeth. He stood at least ten feet tall, and his eyes glowed with a fierce red light. In addition, there was also a huge wolf on the ground looking at them while licking its mouth.

The members of the three forces tremble in fear, it was their first time seeing such an enormous wolf, almost as big as a small house.

Xenos could feel the pressure emanating from Ghorm's body. He knew that the monster in front of him was not an opponent that can be taken on his own.

"Elder San, this is bad. I think this monster's realm is higher than us." Xenos said.

"Your right, this monster is one small realm higher than us... Also, this monster is stronger than any normal second-stage, the pressure it emitted is almost on par with a third-stage powerhouse."

He knows a lot of people with a cultivation of opening qi realm, so he was quite familiar with the aura of the second-stage and third stages.

Hearing Xenos, Elder Tan Zong sneered inside. Even he was not confident in defeating the green monster, much less them.

So he was planning, on letting them do the work for now and finish it later. After all, even if the two can't kill the monster, they will surely inflict some damage on it and exhaust it.

With the plan set, Xenos and Elder San charged towards the green monster, their weapons gleaming in the torchlight. Ghorm roared and charged at them, his massive arms swinging to crush them.

Xenos and Elder San quickly dodged the attacks, their movements swift and precise. They knew they couldn't afford to make any mistakes, as even the slightest misstep could mean their lives.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group was doing their best to hold down the huge wolf. It was strong and agile, but they managed to pin it down with their combined efforts.

Xenos and Elder San continued to fight, exchanging blows with Ghorm. They were holding their own, but the monster's strength was too much for them to handle alone.

"My Lord, we overestimated ourselves, this monster is too much for us." Elder San said, while narrowly avoiding Ghorm's attack.

Although Ghorm's strength was way stronger than his realm, his speed was not as impressive as his strength. However, if any of the two gets hit by Ghorm's attack it would be the end for them.

"I guess, it's time to use this item."

Xenos looked at the red orb in his hand, this item was given by his father. His father said that it was an item that contains an attack of a Qi Gathering powerhouse.

His father got it from ruins he explored when he was still young, his father loved to adventure, and also the reason why he died.
