Terrorism.

It sounds like a simple thing to do where you just need to throw a bomb.

But in reality, it’s complicated as it requires a lot of design and planning. Although I have caused only two large-scale terrorist attacks, I can assure you that it’s true. Probably.

People were tied to the tracks that the train passes.

It sounds so easy. Or does it?

You might think that we can just kidnap a person and tie him up…

But when you do it for real, it’s not easy at all.

Firstly, it was hard to find people that allowed me to tie them up.

How uncomfortable would I feel if I tied up real citizens and killed them by mistake?

Even though I have already gotten a lot of blood on my hands, I haven’t been able to sleep at night after doing it. I was only an ordinary law-abiding citizen of South Korea not too long ago.

So I picked out some rotten ones. Those who got off with a slap on the wrist even after committing a felony. It was somewhat easy to kidnap them because they were still living like trash.

Even though I succeeded in kidnapping them, tying them to the tracks was also a big problem. Actually, it’s somehow similar to the kidnapping part. There are too many CCTVs in Korea. They don’t install them all over the place because of privacy violations, but sometimes,  they arrange them cautiously.

Of course, I can avoid CCTV with my teleportation and the help of Seo-eun’s hacking skills, but tying people to the tracks…

In Korea, because there is that invincible hero, Shadow Walker, I will be in big trouble if I get caught doing something at night. It would be fine if various terrorist attacks happen at the same time since Shadow Walker cannot deal with all of them at once. But because all villains are cowards, it would be a big problem if they went out alone at night. Tsk.

I mean, I teleported and tied people up in broad daylight.  It’s embarrassing and weird. Even if there was no CCTV, the day is bright, I’m not sure how to feel about it…

And the train. Honestly, I know my sin is big, but since the previous cruise ship bombing and the building bombing of my followers, explosives inspections have been tightened everywhere, so I cannot install bombs on the train. So Soobin had no choice but to get to work. She anesthetized the train driver and drove the train herself.

Soobin, I’m certain that she had no friends and only stayed at home since she was young, but she knows how to drive everything. From a helicopter to a train, an excavator, and even a plane. I asked her how she could do it and I almost fainted as she said she learned it through a computer simulator.

Rationally, it made no sense to me at all, but I decided to accept that fact as I found out that she started studying for the CSAT a week before and was still able to get into Seoul National University. That’s right, geniuses surely are different from me.

I thought she was similar to me since she was so timid, but I forgot that she was also a genius who could have a technical conversation with Seo-eun. Am I the only normal one here? That’s so sad…

Anyway, we let Soobin drive the train. It will be difficult for us if the driver suddenly stops or drifts the train to avoid hitting people. And if that happens, she will derail the train and die.

It takes time, effort, and insurance to start terrorism. As I always say, I have a fragile body that can be killed instantly with just one punch from Stardus. I told her to pull the lever, but I can say farewell to this world when she pulls my spine. That’s why I must have insurance. The first insurance is for Soobin, who might have to derail the train . And the second insurance is for installing the bomb at the place where I tied those people in case Stardus attacks the train. Nothing is easy.

Still, at least if I do it like this,

I can show the citizens what a dangerous villain I am!

I can raise Stardus’ favorability again!

I, Da-in, can sacrifice myself for my favorite character.

And just in time, she’s coming here.

With her blonde hair flying, Stardus is coming in her red latex suit that I have no idea how she had time to change.

It’s the same feeling every time I see her, how pretty she is.

Will I ever be able to date a girl who is as beautiful as Stardus? I don’t think so, probably.

Of course, Soobin’s beauty is also pretty comparable to Stardus’… Even so.

Anyway, it’s time to get back to the concept.

Although I can feel my hands and legs getting shaky, I already chose this concept! Protecting her by being evil.

“Oh, the star of the day. Ms. Stardus, you are finally here!”

I clapped my hands and greeted Stardus.

She landed a little far from me.

“You punk! What the hell are you doing?”

Well.

Actually, my concept is not the only weird thing.

I didn’t notice it when I read the comic, but after hearing it directly from Stardus, uh…

You and I, we both picked the wrong concept. Don’t you think so?

Hearing an ordinary female college student like Shin Haru speak in a historical drama tone in modern times is weird.

Of course, I’m also not a pushover.

“Hahahahaha! What am I doing? I just wanted to see if you could make a ‘moral’ choice.”

“You punk. Do you think that you will be fine if you slaughter citizens like that?”

[Citizens (Not)]

[Killing (Haven’t done it)]

[That Stardus, why is she trying to slander our Mango Stick like that?]

[Really. Do you really think that his name is Mango?]

[Me likey….]

[You mean who?]

[I mean I like Stardus. I’m being sarcastic. I don’t like her.]

[??? Didn’t you say that you liked Egostic?]

[I think you do mean that you like her.]

[What the fuck, why are there two meanings for “like”?]

[Judge it based on the context.]

[This dude, I guess it’s your first time seeing slang in the community, you cannot get yourself together. wwww*] *TN: It is used to express laughter

[Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo. Release Kim Sunwoo.]

[Stop leaving comments!]

[I hate seeing Stardus’ face.]

…I checked the chat window one more time, and even in this situation, they are even more abusive toward Stardus. No, I have to hurry up and turn the table!

I spoke up in an exaggerated voice.

“Well, that’s not the problem. Right now, the train is coming and the problem is it’s going to hit five people! Why don’t you go over there and quickly decide whether to pull the lever or not?”

I could see veins growing on Stardus’ forehead as I spoke in a sarcastic tone.

“…Is there any reason why I should not just leave you here?”

“What? Of course, there is a reason! You know what this is, right?”

I quickly pulled the detonator out of my robe. Did I not explain this yet? Probably not yet.

“Now, can you see this? If I press it, all six of them will be wiped out. And if I die, my men who are driving the train will not stay still, right? So you better calm down.”

Stardus did not seem to like it very much, but she seemed convinced. Phew, that was close.

But I don’t have time right now. I think the train is almost here.

“Now! Breaking news, the train is getting close!”

As soon as I finished, I teleported to the lever under the cliff. Looking up at the cliff from below, Stardus was looking around to find me but then flew toward the lever a little later.

“Now, now! It’s time to make a choice. What will you do? If you don’t turn the lever, the five people who are tied up there will die. Nu-uh, don’t go there! You can just derail the train. Yes, lever. If you turn the lever, only one person will die. Please decide quickly whether to sacrifice one to save five.”

Quickly finishing my words, I climbed back up the cliff.

On the cliff, the camera filmed Stardus who is thinking hard in front of the lever. And the sound of a train coming in right away can be heard.

“Now, now! The train to Pentakill* is coming in. What choice will our Stardus make?” *TN: In the video game ‘Valorant’, the term is used when a single player eliminates five players and becomes an ace

[She has to turn the lever.]

[If she turns the lever, Stardus will be the one who kills that one person, right? If she stays still, she will be innocent, but if she turns the lever, she will kill someone with her own hands.]

[It will be the right choice if she turns it, because she will save four people in a utilitarian way…]

Even in the chat window, people are having mixed opinions.

Still, everyone seems to expect Stardus to turn the lever.

Yeah, everyone certainly would think that way.

But I know.

The Stardus I know is not that kind of person!

The train is just around the corner.

Stardus, who was suffering in front of the lever, did not pull the lever in the end.

She then clenched her fist, and started running toward the train.

[AAAAAAAAh! Da-in! She is running towards me. What should I do?]

I heard Soobin’s scream from my in-ear. She must be looking at Stardus running straight to her from the engine room.

I hurriedly muted the camera I was filming and told her.

“Don’t worry. She is not coming to hurt you.”

Probably, she is going to try blocking the train with her body.

Alright.

If it’s the Stardus I know, the most righteous Shin Haru,

I knew she would choose a path that no one would get hurt.

Now, I’m going to make her stand out that way.

After taking the camera off mute, I screamed while tearing my hair out with my hands.

“No way! What the hell is Stardus doing?!! Oh, my god!”

I screamed like a pterodactyl and I could feel the pain in my throat right away.

Stardus, are you watching?

I’m so screwed up for you…
