75 Alone

Lian Jing’s hand that was holding the wine glass froze as he looked at the woman opposite him with a dark expression.

Grandpa Lian was old and could not last too long. He happily returned to his room to rest.

Lian Jing said that he wanted to send Shen Yin and Nian Nian back to their rooms to rest, but when Shen Yin looked at his aggressive expression, she sensed that he was going to interrogate them.

Shen Nian tactfully did not disturb the two of them today. He saw the wound on his scumbag biological father’s mouth and knew his mother must have bitten the man Since his mother no longer objected, he would not be an annoying child who got between the two of them.

Shen Nian obediently said goodnight to the two of them at his room door. Then, he went into his room and secretly leaned against the door to eavesdrop.

Without a third person, Lian Jing pushed Shen Yin into her room without another word and pressed her against the door. He forced his long legs between her legs, then lowered his head and asked in an extremely domineering manner, “Where’s my gift?”

Shen Yin turned her head away and avoided his hot breath. She wriggled uneasily. “Get up and I’ll get it for you.”

Lian Jing let go of her and could not help but chuckle as he watched her run into the room.

Shen Yin turned around and glared at him fiercely before taking out the box from the drawer and throwing it at him. “Here, you can’t return it or exchange it, you have to like it.”

Lian Jing smiled and tore open the packaging. When he saw the silver buckle and belt inside, his fingers trembled. He flung the box aside and walked over to Shen Yin. His eyes were deep and cold. “I’ll only like it if you put it on for me personally.”

Shen Yin wanted to dodge, but it was too late.

Lian Jing grabbed her hand with great accuracy and pulled it towards his waist.

“You scoundrel!” She closed her eyes tightly and curled her fingers into a fist, refusing to let him have his way.

“You just have to put it on for me to see if it’s suitable.” Lian Jing placed her small hand on his waist as if it was a completely natural thing to do and gently breathed in her ear. His voice was low and coaxing. “Nothing else.”

Shen Yin did not believe him.

She regretted buying such a thing. She had really shot herself in the foot.

She began to chase him away with a frosty expression. “I don’t want to. Don’t you have hands? I’m going to bed. Get out.”

Lian Jing raised his eyebrows calmly. “You disrupted my birthday party. Shouldn’t you apologize?”

Shen Yin’s brows twitched. She really wanted to pinch his face to see if it was really as thick as a city wall.

“I’ll buy you something else.”

“No need.” Lian Jing pulled her hand and placed it on the silver buckle at his waist. He insisted on being unreasonable. “Undo it and I’ll consider the matter resolved.”

Shen Yin really wanted to slap him, but could not bring herself to do so. She took a deep breath and resigned herself to her fate. “You have to leave once I’ve undone the buckle.”

Lian Jing did not say anything. His eyes were fixed on her hand. He watched as she opened the hidden catch bit by bit and undid the belt. Her small hand accidentally brushed past his lower abdomen, and his body suddenly tensed up.

He suddenly grabbed her wrist, picked her up and threw her onto the soft bed. He leaned over and started to settle the score. “When we were eating just now, you said that you were blessed to have met grandpa and Nian Nian. Why didn’t you mention me?”

Shen Yin snorted and raised her leg to kick him, but he mercilessly pressed her down.

“Nothing good has happened to me since I met you. What blessing?”

“Really? That’s because you haven’t notice it.” Lian Jing said seriously, “Do you want to be more blessed?”

Shen Yin could not follow his train of thought and looked at him in confusion. “What blessing?”

Lian Jing’s gave her a profound look. He lifted her clothes with his fingers and planted a warm kiss on her chest. His eyes were filled with desire. “Give birth to another blessing.”

“You bastard!” Shen Yin’s entire body suddenly trembled. She pushed him away with all her might, her hands shaking. The fear from six years ago rose in her heart, and sparkling tears fell from her eyes. “I already gave birth to a son for you without any status. What do you take me for? Do you want to defile me again?”

Lian Jing stopped what he was doing and silently looked at her tearful face. His heart was filled with regret.

He should have restrained himself just now. Now he had frightened her into tears and he would have to make some effort to coax her.

He let out a low sigh as his hands, which had been entwined around her waist, moved to wrap around her shoulders. He pulled her tightly into his arms. “I’m sorry. Don’t cry. I’ll respect your wishes. I’ve never looked down on you.”
