" Can you go out right now? I don't know many people here." Samuel asked. Unlike him, Darren still had to worry about his college.

" What? I am in my last year! I am as free as one can get!" Darren said resolutely. He didn't know that Audrey was just outside the gate.

" What did you say? Are you planning to bunk your classes again?" She barged in.

" M-mom! It's because Sami doesn't have any friends here! Didn't you ask me to look after him?" Darren replied. He was not ready to give up such a chance.

" But-"

" Aunt, don't worry. I will drop him off at the college after we are done." Samuel asked.

" Fine, but if your grades drop, don't blame me for cutting your allowance." She left after saying her piece.

" What?"

" Don't worry. I will cover for you besides don't tell me you are worried about your exams? I heard you were pretty smart." Samuel gave him some incentives.

" That's true. Forget it; I can give up a few grand for a chance to visit my favorite store!"

" Now we are talking! So, what cars are popular these days?" Samuel asked.

" Well, you came to the right person. But what are your requirements? We could narrow it down to several brands before visiting the store." Darren asked as he munched on his breakfast.

" Something study with a lot of space would be nice," Samuel asked casually.

" What? Are you planning to drive around with your kid's old man? There are no supercars with that description." Darren was dumbfounded.

" Aren't they cumbersome? I heard they break down quite often." Samuel knew nothing about cars. With his family's strict supervision, he always had someone drive him around.

" Wow, we really need to go for a test drive. I can't believe I am stuck with a greenhorn." Darren facepalmed; it was evident that Samuel didn't experience the thrill of fast cars.

" Let's go. We have a lot of work to do." Darren started to get dressed up.

...

....

A Cadillac Escalade was speeding along the coastal road; it was noisy as heavy metal music was blaring loudly as it zoomed through the wide streets.

Darren was bopping his head along the beat while tapping the steering wheel, trying to imitate the symphony of the song. While passing through the streets, he would whistle at the beauty walking along the sideway.

Samuel, the co-pilot, was wiping the cold sweat that didn't exist. He couldn't imagine that Darren was such a madman behind wheels. Was it really an excellent choice to bring him? he contemplated as he watched the weird gazes of passersby.

The destination of this trip was Wood Avenue; Darren knew an excellent car dealership as he frequently brought from them.

Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Pagani, Spyker, etc., whether it was mass production or rare ones, one could find it here. Darren had made a few phone calls, and they said they had a few 'treasures' on sale for the right price.

" You know you don't have to do that." Samuel was sick of him glaring at girls. This lust demon really didn't have any boundaries.

" I heard you made quite a commotion. I guess my lil bro is finally growing up!" Darren laughed.

" How come you already know about it? Don't tell me you started reading newspapers? We should head toward the hospital. First, you must really be sick!" Samuel fought back.

" Che! Here I thought you changed over the years. So, who are you picking? It must be hard to live such easy life!" Darren was swirling along the narrow turns.

" Hey, first, slow down! We might go to heaven if you keep driving like this.

" Don't mind it. Didn't you say you want something sturdy? My Escalade is perfect for you! Watch this!"

" Seriously, this idiot! Do you think it is a race track?"

" Hahaha" Just as Darren was enjoying Samuel's sweet reaction, they heard a police siren from the back signaling them to pull over to the side.

" Shit!"

"Just great."

The police officer plainly caught them driving like idiots on the road. It was good there was no traffic, or else it would have undoubtedly caused an accident. She tapped on the tinted window.

" How can I help you, officer?" Darren said, but the loud music overpowered his voice.

" Sir, please turn down the music." She was frustrated. As expected, It was a couple of rich kids; she had seen many of them lately. Darren followed her order; he was already enamored by the blonde beauty in a uniform.

" License and Registration." She asked.

Darren searched around and found the papers, but he remembered that he had forgotten his physical license at home. Seeing his flustered expression, Samuel knew that something was wrong.

" Umm, Officer, I forgot my license." Just great! For a first impression, his was the worst.

" Sir, Please step out of the car." He looked very young; her job was to appropriately reprimand him for avoiding future accidents. Sensing her intention, Samuel decided to help. He casually got off and made his way toward her.

" Officer, I am sorry for my friend. He is an idiot, I know, but he is not a bad driver." Seeing Samuel, the officer froze for a few seconds. She completely missed the passenger, and now that she looked at him, he looked familiar.

" Ah, are you perhaps Mr. Samuel?" She asked.

" Do you know me?" Samuel was surprised by her question.

" It is you. I just saw your photo in the newspaper; I thought it was edited, but you looked much better in person!" She exclaimed like a little girl.

" Thanks? About my friend-"

" It's fine, It's fine. I will let him off with a warning. If you ever need my help, you can contact me here, alright?" She stuffed her contact detail in his hand.

" A-alright, I will keep it in mind. Thank you." Samuel didn't know what had just happened. She left after waving at him for a few seconds and reminding him again. Darren watched the whole scene and was boiling with jealousy from head to toe.

" Why are you looking at me like that?"

" You! Forget it. I will never bring you anywhere with me. How can you do this to me?"

" What are you talking about? I never did anything wrong. She just gave it to me; what should I have done?"

They kept bickering for the whole journey. Meanwhile, the office lady was in a good mood, but not for long; she was reprimanded when her superiors found out about it. Although she would receive some punishment for her negligence, it didn't matter. It was all worth it!
