"A few minutes ago, we were just talking about you," Samuel said while lightly hugging her.

But the next moment, Hannah violently separated from his embrace. It's like she remembered something.

" What happened?" Samuel asked, but Hannah completely ignored him. He looked toward others for answers.

" Did I do something wrong?"

" Well, It's been so long since your last visit. I think she is mad about that." Aaron said with an awkward laugh.

" Honey!"

" Father! You were not supposed to say it."

The cat was out of the bag now that Samuel knew he had to make it up to her. Fortunately, he came prepared or was it fate? He had the perfect plan. Steve, who was watching, understood in an instant what his boss desired. He whispered a few orders through the radio.

" I am sorry. I have no excuse. But-" Samuel acted sad, but throughout the end, he raised his voice to sound dramatic.

" But?" It garnered the attention of naive Hannah.

Samuel waited a few seconds, and just that moment, someone entered the door with a huge wrapped present. Jane, carrying the gift, was giving Steve the death stare because of his commands.

Who the hell could bring this massive present up the stairs in ten seconds? She was lucky that she was already carrying several presents to the upper storeroom in Penny's direction. If not, it would have taken her several minutes to reach here.

" But I was busy acquiring big presents for my sister. Won't you forgive this stupid brother of yours?"

" Umm," She was still being stubborn.

" It can't be helped, then. Steve, see if you could return 'ALL' of them. If my sister says she didn't want it, I should do as she tells me." Samuel threw the bait and waited for the inevitable reaction.

" All? There are more?"

" Yes, young miss, there is a LOT more," Jane said softly; somehow, it surprised Samuel and Steve more seeing her reaction than Hannah. She noticed the two idiots giving her smug looks. She would deal with them later!

But it did the job. Later, when Aaron informed her about the trip, she was even more elated. Her seemingly sad day was becoming happier and happier.

" By the way, Who is the kid?" Samuel quietly asked Steve, who was standing beside him.

" As far we know, he is young miss' friend, Cole. He sometimes visits the store to get some leftover food."

" Hmm", Samuel didn't inquire; he didn't want to appear absent-minded while Hannah was jumping up and down thanking him. Cole, who was left out of the conversation until now, was also forcefully dragged into her celebration.

It was good that she was happy, but she didn't have to be inconsiderate toward the little kid hanging on his dear life while she shook him violently.

He was a few years younger than Hannah, probably around five or six. He was wearing shabby clothes, and his hair looked like he didn't take a bath in a few days, while his body appeared to be a little malnourished.

At least he was smiling, and Hannah also didn't appear to mind his appearance. She might be mischievous, but she was a good kid.

" Hannah, settle down. Don't you see Cole is tired? " Aaron reminded her daughter.

" Ah, I am sorry. Are you fine?"

" Huh" He nodded, and he didn't say anything else.

" Cole comes; I will introduce you to my brother." Hannah dragged him to Samuel.

" Young Lady! If you keep doing it, Cole will stop being friends with you. *sighs* Where does she learn these kinds of stuff from?" Carol yelled at her. Her daughter was becoming more and more outspoken, which she didn't mind much, but at least she had to not trouble others.

" I am sorry. Is it true? Will you stop being friends with me?" She looked at Cole with a dejected look.

Cole was under pressure; he only shook his head sideways, denying her doubts which was a big mistake. The next moment, Hannah resumed dragging him while others smiled while watching them. Carol wanted it to be a lesson for her, but she failed spectacularly.

" Brother, this is Cole! He is my friend. Cole, this is my big brother, Samuel."

" Cole, It's nice to meet you." Samuel greeted him warmly. He was curious about this mysterious kid.

" N-nice t-to me-et yo-u sir." It was the most nervous greeting Samuel had heard in his life. People were not this nervous even when he visited places as a Rothschild. At first, Samuel thought Cole was aloof, but It seemed he was just too shy with strangers.

" No need to be afraid and no need to call me sir; just address me like my sister." Samuel thought it was strange for a child to address someone as sir. Does he give some sort of peculiar vibe to make people like this? He must have learned it somewhere.

" Un" Sensing no hostility from Samuel, Cole relaxed and smiled a little. He let his guard down, but it puzzled Samuel.

They talked for a few minutes before everyone went down. Aaron took Hannah and Cole toward the staff area. They still hadn't had lunch, Hannah wanted Samuel to go with her, but He delayed it, making an excuse.

" I will join you in a moment. I have to help them transport your presents."

" Ok, I will save some food for you."

" Wait! No! I already ate. Didn't you see the whole table filled with empty plates?"

" But there was some food left, right? Didn't you say that we should not waste food?"

Just then, Carol the Tyrant emerged from the shadows, and Samuel was lost for words. Ultimately, he had to agree to join her, or his mother would drag him to the table. Steve, his protector, quietly took a step behind him while feigning ignorance.

He knew the enemy was strong, and it would be suicidal to face it head-on. Sometimes the best way was to retreat while leaving the client behind as bait. Your own life was more important than money!

" Was my sister really naive?" He thought after falling into the trap.

After getting his confirmation, Carol left with her daughter to prepare the meal while Samuel moved toward the front desk. Penny, witnessing the whole scene, gave him a knowing look. She was amused to see the mighty young master defeated in such a way. He couldn't even fight back!

" Don't laugh, Aunt Penny! I am gonna die if I eat more. See this; my stomach is practically about to burst."

" It's not. I can help it. You should have seen Carol when she saw you on TV. She was mumbling for a day about how pale and weak you looked. It was bound to happen."

" Right."

" So, you mentioned something earlier," She asked.

Samuel wanted to ask about Cole, but before that, he had to discuss something with her about Adele.
