Chapter 108 Side Story: Oscar And Karoline*

[ Oscar's POV]

I am trying to remember when exactly it happened. We were constantly bickering, and I didn't like her at first. She was rude and definitely dangerous.

I still remember the first time I met her. She was accompanying my sister. At that time, she had dirty blonde hair with piercing blue eyes, and her clothes were standard suits which were tighter than usual, but she walked unrestricted without care. [ POV Changed]

Oscar knocked on the door and announced himself.

" Karoline, Are you inside?"

" Yeah, Come in; the door is unlocked." I went inside the room to find her with her little brother.

They were snuggling while enjoying some random show on the television. Vera, her mother, was not present. Presumably, she went ahead as it was time to sleep.

" Oh, Alek is also here."

" Yeah, we were just browsing different channels."

" Right, I just wanted to check up on you. I will come by later. Good night." seeing them busy, Oscar decided to come by tomorrow.

" Wait! He was about to go to his room. He is already dozing off."

" No, I want to stay with sister. Why are you chasing me away?" Alek asked.

" Sister has something important to discuss. We will continue tomorrow, okay." Alek was crestfallen and reluctantly left the room. He was staring angrily at Oscar, the root cause to which the latter could only give an awkward smile.

" So?" Karoline asked as he motioned Oscar to join her. Oscar complied and sat beside her.

" Nothing; I'm curious if you lack anything.

" You know it already." Karoline held his hand as they locked fingers.

" Hmm, I really don't know." Oscar, oblivious to everything, made a confused expression.

" You, you never had a girlfriend. Am I right?" Karoline was giving hints, but Oscar was genuinely clueless when it came to these things.

" H-how do you know? Did David tell you?" Hearing his reply, she facepalmed. But decided to drop more hints.

" Nah, now that I think about it we are alone right now."

" Yeah, It never happened before. Right, you mentioned you missed Russian foods. Want me to bring some over?"

" Y-you! Are you doing it on purpose? Want me spell it out for you?"

Oscar made a sneak attack, giving her a quick kiss before pulling away. Karoline was surprised and failed to react. It was not their first, but they have not done anything else since they started dating.

" That was unexpected." She said as she touched her lips where Oscar made his mark.

Oscar came closer as they stared into eyes of each other. They exchanged breaths for a few moments before joining lips again.

Oscar moved slowly, but like a hungry tigress, Karoline jumped on his lap and kissed him violently. She has both hands holding Oscar's cheeks while she devours his lips.

Oscar was not ready to back down as he grabbed the back of her head and used force to pry open her mouth. The last smooch turned into a full-blown french kiss as they began to wrestle with their tongues.
