Chapter 133 You're Hesitating

[You didn't think you were the only immortal in Kurg, did you?]

'If you put it like that, how am I meant to respond?' Hisha deadpanned.

[There are a few individuals who had gone into hiding after being favored by the Celestials. With every selected individual bestowed, a clause was added]

'Fuck! Yeah!' Hisha whooped, walking back towards a tree.

Climbing on its branches, he sat on one of the higher branches with a smile.

Placing a dried-up twig into his mouth and playing with it while rotating its movement with his tongue.

[What's with the laid-back attitude?]

Placing his hand behind his head, he looked to his side, having a good view of the destroyed terrain.

'That's a big hole." Hisha cackled, spitting out the twig and replacing it with another.

[...]

Hisha rolled his eyes and sighed.

'Do I need to explain?'

[Do you want to listen to the rest of the info–]

'What better news is that I'm not the only immortal with restrictions.' Hisha spat out in a bid to win the favor of his system.

[You jubilated because of that?]

'I already explained. If mine is in the category of women, it might as well be something more trashy than mine.' Hisha grinned from ear to ear.

There was nothing better than knowing there were others who he could say would have it worse than he did.

[Fair enough...]

Reaching out for a leaf, Hisha inquired about the rest of the information.

[Some had perished when they fell out of favor and went against the clause placed on them. Others had gone into seclusion for fear of losing what they hold in high esteem]

Hisha made a clench his fingers over the leaf, opening his palm and watching the wind blow off the bits of the leaf.

'I would have been worried if my immortality was stripped. I guess I understand how they feel.' Hisha stared at his hand, clenching and unclenching his fists.

[This had led to the rumor spreading to shady individuals getting the information on the only way an immortal could be killed]

Hisha's eyes glinted at the information, what had turned out to be a pain in his side was meant to be the biggest secret he could keep.

'If anyone gets to know of my weakness, they could use that against me, forcing my immortality to be stripped off.' Hisha raised his head to the branches above him, getting a glimpse of the sky.

With the new information, things had gotten a lot more complex and headed first into more secrets.

Hisha furrowed his brows, wondering if this might have been the reason the original host had chosen to relinquish his position and body.

'That fucker!' Hisha hissed at the possibility of that being true.

If it were that way, there was no way for him to experience death or witness his immortality stripped if there was an issue that forced him to spill or be caught in a situation that made him kill a female.

[Who?]

HTC put up a confused emoji, not being able to process who deserved the cuss.

'Oh, it's just the original host. I think I finally understand why he doesn't wish to return.' Hisha punched a branch off the tree.

'That fucker is trying to play god, using me as a case study!' Hisha frowned at the thought.

[This is why you need to surpass the original host's stats, only then can you have full control of your body before achieving what he holds dear]

Hisha nodded his head to the advice, 'I just got enough motivation to achieve that.'

Calling on all of his stats, he needed to be reminded of what he was lacking and needed to work on.

Ding!

__________

[Name: Lord Hisha]

[Level: 1007]

[Height: 185cm]

[Position: Supreme Overlord]

[Ability: Replicate]

[Sux: 340/1000]

[Meretrix: 3]

[Points: 78000]

[Exp: 10]

[Total number of your harem: 6211]

__________

His eyes scanned the stats with a bitter smile. 'I still have a long way to go.

[Loading... 10% ...]

Waiting for the rest to pop up in front of him, he folded his hands, leaning back on the tree limb.

__________

[Lustful experience: 35/20000]

[Fetish: 4/20]

__________

'As expected, fuck it!' Hisha closed the tab on that stats.

As much as it looked fun to do, there was no way he was going to subject himself like a breeding cattle without making the best use of his time before his enemies decided to strike.

[You had asked for this]

'I know, and I said fuck it! That's just wrong on so many levels–balance is key.' Hisha scoffed and requested the last and more important information he needed.

???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????-????????????.????????????

__________

[Memory recovery: 10/100%]

__________

Facepalm at how he had gotten only one-tenth of the total percentage needed to kickstart the memory of the original host.

'Couldn't I just ask Lord Hisha politely, he should be willing to save his ass.' Hisha stared at the translucent screen in high hopes of a favorable answer.

[Do you want to ask that of a host who chose to ditch his body?]

Hisha's mood fell upon being reminded of that important detail.

Wiping down his face, he clicked his tongue and sighed several times.

'I'm just about fucked if word gets out about my weakness.'

[Then find a way out of it, host]

Steepling his fingers, he thought for a moment and a wicked smile arose.

'They won't figure it out, so long as I am equally ruthless to the females and give them a near-death experience or intimidate them into cooperation.'

[What happens if you kill them while giving a 'near death experience'?!]

Hisha's cool moment was butchered as he lost his composure and his hand slipped and he had to grab onto a branch to stop his fall.

'Fuck you, HTC! You just had to put up with such a condition.'

[A logical reasoning at that]

HTC added a winking emoji with its tongue stuck out.

'You can be this way because you are not tangible, if it wasn't that way, maybe you might reconsider your words.' Hisha challenged.

[I am loved by you, host. You wouldn't want me transforming to mess with you]

Hisha recalled when it had materialized into a similar copy of Melody.

'Melody...' His thoughts trailed.

Before he could be mocked by his system, he heard a call from below.

Glancing down, he locked eyes with Kritz. 'How did he know where I was?'

Dropping down, Hisha tilted his head, awaiting an answer. He could tell Kritz had teleported, but that could only be done if he knew where the target was or had some prior knowledge of the terrain.

Giving a slight bow, Kritz looked around him and at the catastrophic damage that could be seen a few feet away from where they stood.

Following his line of sight, Hisha bit down on his bottom lip to stifle a laugh.

Kritz's shocked expression was priceless as he temporarily forgot Hisha was in front of him.

Ahem!

Whipping his head back to meet Hisha's eyes, he went down on one knee to apologize for his action.

'That's not why I had drawn your attention, it's why you are here I'm after.'

"What brings you here?"

Kritz looked to his side, hissing at the thought of spilling would only alert his lord on Alta's condition.

'It looks like he is planning on lying to shield the bitter truth.' Hisha deduced, narrowing his eyes.

"If you lie to me, it's as much as telling me you can betray my trust," Hisha warned, casting a dark look on Kritz.

'There's no way I can betray my lord.' Kritz's eyes widened at being caught red-handed and chose to come clean.

"I received a sonic signal from Alta and it had given me your present location."

"Why would she send you a sonic signal?" Hisha hissed.

His chilly voice made Kritz back up and force his vision down, "I swear on my life, I have never made any unwarranted communication with your harem."

His lips trembled as his heart pounded, hoping to set that as a subtle way of explaining why he had gotten it.

'What was I thinking? Kritz isn't like that.' Hisha's furrowed brows eased as did his facial expression.

Wiping down his face, he nodded his head to the excuse, that part was settled, but then there was still something unclear.

"That had not explained what I had asked. Don't make me repeat my words." Hisha warned, still skeptical about trusting him blindly.

Kritz's eyes searched the floor, he couldn't tell if he would flip if he knew the whole truth or if he would mask his words.

"You're hesitating again." Hisha snapped, "look at me and tell me the truth."
