'Huh? Hisha yawned, stretching out and scratching an itch.

[It's your daily status, host]

Staring at his Sux, he coughed out, patting his chest to bring himself to the reality of things.

'How long was I asleep?!' He exclaimed.

[10 hours, 53 minutes, 2 seconds, and 3...]

'I slept through the whole night? Through...' He gulped, unable to complete his sentence.

[At the sound of your status update, all had been taken care of]

"She's gone, again," Hisha murmured, knowing for a fact that he could never make the same mistake of creating another version of her.

[You had made some achievements that seemed improbable, host]

Nodding his head, he let out a sigh but had a smile knowing it was for the best.

'I hope she did spend her time wisely.' He gave a weak smile as he got to his feet.

[...]

With the thought of the tournament, he headed to take a bath.

"Why do I feel that this would be more brutal than the last?" Hisha muttered to himself, his hand on the bathroom door.

[When has it been all roses?]

HTC deadpanned with an uninterested emoji.

'You do know that question was just to 'myself' not necessarily you.' Hisha countered, pulling on the door and stepping over the threshold.

[Your hunch has never been wrong, that doesn't mean that I can't answer your questions, host]

Stripping off all clothing, he dipped his leg into the water, letting out a sigh of satisfaction as he slipped in.

'It would be nice to get extra points to purchase anything I need from the inventory.' Hisha shrugged, thinking of the benefit he could derive from it.

[Do not forget about the feast]

Rolling his eyes, Hisha nodded his head in response.

As much as he wanted to see what Wae had up his sleeve, he was also slightly triggered by the possible outcome of the whole arrangement.

'Is it wrong if I just kill them all, start afresh?' Hisha rubbed his chin in thought.

'Don't answer that.' He cautioned HTC, not ready for its thought on the issue.

[On the side, there would be a lot of food!]

HTC displayed its limited food emoji's in a bid to make it look as similar to a real feast.

'All these you have shown are bland. I'm sure they'd add a special ingredient called 'lethal or seal', that should spice it up.'

[Lethal is out of the question, how many times do I have to remind you of your status as an IMMORTAL?!!!]

Covering his ears and wincing at the disturbance that it caused, Hisha nodded his head in understanding. 'Seal it is, just like that temptress and her minions!'

[Most probably, host. You need to be cautious.]

'Not if I find a way of making him sign a contract just like Mich. It would be fun to do so with the rest.' Hisha chuckled, rubbing his slippery hands together, causing them to foam over.

[With their narrow wits, it would be realized]

HTC assured with a grinning emoji.

'I eagerly await that time and would use it for a grand plan.'

In the arena,

Crossing his leg as he normally did, he looked around, noticing a slight change in their arrangements, those who had participated and won were placed to the left with vast empty seats while those who had not participated were made to manage the little space allocated to them.

Walking in their numbers, he awaited when they would take their designated seats.

His smile only grew when he witnessed Solara sitting carefree with her feet on Alta's shoulder whilst blowing on her nails.

'It would seem they have formed a strangely strong bond.'

[The last duel they had while assisting you must have done that, but...]

Hisha growled a little, massaging his temples and hoping he wouldn't get a chance to make a wish which might involve dragging HTC into it.

'Why the freaking 'but'?! Finish the god-damned sentence!'

[Such an impatient host! Very well then... they might have accepted their differences and plan to get you caught in their loop]

'Was that so hard to say?' Hisha shook his head.

Narrowing his eyes, he looked to his left, feeling a set of eyes staring at him.

'Mich! What the hell is his problem?'

[2667 years, 10 months, 4 days]

Staring at the status bar hovering above Mich, he forced a grin at how dedicated he was to keep his life expectancy to be in its natural course.

'Come on, curse at me! Plot something! Go along with your plan, lie to me perhaps!' Hisha conveyed through his eyes.

Mich's sweat dropped on his blue silk loose pants, his feet drumming on the floor, understanding the gaze given to him by Hisha.

"Come closer." Hisha bellowed, looking at Vanas so he would give up his position sitting beside him.

Unsure of how the decision would be taken by the other tribal chiefs, Mich politely declined, stating his reasons.

With a glare of jealousy at the perceived favoritism, Vanas hissed at Mich, his fangs more prominent as his red eyes glowed in bitter rage.

The other tribal chiefs peered from their sitting positions, waiting it out to see the outcome of what could be perceived as a disrespect to the hierarchy and power level of each one of them.

Hisha had a stoic expression, pretending as though unfazed by the power level of all tribal chiefs explained to him by HTC.

The power level of each tribal chief went in the order of Dragons» Vampires» Lycans» Minotaurs» Merfolks» Ogres» and Elves.

'I don't care, let's have some showdown before the actual tournament.' Hisha disregarded HTC from commenting on the discord he was sowing right before what mattered to him.

Kritz tilted his head at what was going on, a smile tugged at his lips watching the tribal chiefs have a moment of distrust in Hisha's judgment, seeing it as an opportunity to attack if any went out of line.

"My lord," Vanas lowered his voice, not wanting the harem below to pick up on the possible commotion.

Hisha raised a brow and smiled at his call.

Taking a deep breath, he tried to be as polite as possible, "we all are aware of the sitting arrangements created by your evaluation, as a tribe in a higher rank than this... this..."

Quiet and calculative, Hisha waited it out till he would spill out his thoughts on Mich.

"... puny little fish–"

"Don't spit out bullshit, Vanas!" Mich warned, slightly triggered by who he had considered a friend to his tribe.

Vanas looked to his side and scoffed, "why do I feel like you wish this day would come?! Remember how you had requested that–"

"Ah! ah! ah!" Draegul exclaimed in a sing-song voice, shaking his clawed finger and clicking his tongue to shut Vanas up.

They had all sworn not to speak on their failed attempt on Hisha, having yet another who could jeopardize their plans was out of the question.

[Name: Draegul Scylla]

[Height: 188cm]

[Position: Chief of the dragon tribe]

Hisha stared at the character status, then at Draegul, suddenly interested in his hold on the other chiefs.

His body was slender and toned, his exposed skin tanned. His eyes had a greenish-grey color to them, and his silver-grey hair was long and unkempt. Two nearly spiral horns on each side of his head.

Most of his body was covered in a black metallic bodysuit formed from heated dragon flames which had red markings across it. Over the top of this bodysuit, Draegul wore several pieces of armor plating. This armor included gauntlets, boots, and pauldrons.

There were times when Hisha would ponder on the thought of Draegul ever prepared for some war.

Wae smiled with a mischievous glint. He was more than glad he might not be the one who would be willing to rip a hole in another's chest.

Draegul had every reason to attempt this without a flinch if he wanted to under the guise of Vanas' insubordination.

A shrill of fear coursed through Vanas' spine as Draegul was one who rarely spoke complete sentences or words in general.

Hisha stared at Vanas, tilting his head in amusement, "do you wish to go against my order?"

Vanas cowered, wincing at the idea of being stupid enough to unintentionally attempt that.

Shaking his head, he gave a light bow and attempted to switch places as instructed.

Mich stood frozen to the spot, unwilling to sit by Hisha's side, there was something not right with the opportunity he was given.

"Mership Mich?" Kritz called out reluctantly.
