Chapter 90 A New Target–Harem!

'HTC, now would be the perfect time to implement one of your ideas.' Hisha sweatdropped at the tight corner he had been placed in.

[As much as I would love to help, I can't interfere in decisions such as this. It's up to you, host]

Hisha's mouth gaped open in shock and disbelief but quickly had to maintain his composure when Mich raised his head to witness what had made him fall silent.

"Lord Hisha, is there–"

"What makes you so sure she's alive?" Hisha cut in, not ready to explain what had troubled him the moment he had been presented with the task.

He was already blaming himself for his feeble attempt at mocking Mich, although he had gotten a fair share of it, the request given to him had clapped back on the initial victory.

"There was no way she could have just gone into thin air, she is a strange mermaid but not a ghost if those even exist." Mich sneered at the thought of Melody.

"What's her name and features?" Hisha questioned, knowing well this could solidify the fact that he had no hand in it.

Mich had a weird look and was skeptical about how to respond, but after some thought, he nodded his head and prepared his mind to give the best description he could of her.

"Her name is Melody, my lord."

"Melody? That's a strange name." Hisha rubbed his chin and pushed forward.

???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????-????????????.????????????

'Is it possible that two people could bear the same name as in my world? It was strange enough that I bear the same name as an overlord.'

[There is no one in all of Kurg who bear a similar name, they are more creative than where you come from]

The hairs on Hisha's hands stood on ends at the burn he had gotten from HTC's words.

"It was strange, yet beautiful," Mich muttered without thinking things through, sighing at the thought of her beauty.

Hisha had a look of disgust on his face at the daydreaming Mich, knowing what he had done to Melody in her last moments.

'How sick is he in the head?!'

[It is quite unclear how that could be a problem, you all have the same tendencies, just how you all manage it is the difference]

Realizing his mistake, Mich dropped face down once more, disappointed in himself for thinking positively after what he had gone through.

"She has white hair, blue eyes, pink plump lips..."

Hisha raised a brow at such keen features he picked one that even he who had created her wasn't so picky on.

[You did ask about description, a person only describes based on what interests them the most]

"...slender body, wide hips and a surprisingly voluptuous–"

He paused and looked up at Hisha, knowing how perverse his description was going.

Ahem!

"No, no. Go on." Hisha grinned and had a smirk, suddenly interested in how far he could go, nor could he blame him for describing based on his desires.

Reluctant at first, Mich gulped and did a rethink on how he could rephrase his words, letting out a nervous chuckle to buy time.

"An alluring cleavage." He finalized and avoided eye contact with Hisha.

"So... you're telling me a perfect girl was hidden in your tribe and I knew nothing about it?"

Mich shook his head and immediately went into defense mode. "I... I knew nothing of her existence until that day!"

"Are you raising your voice at me, Merchief?!" Hisha raised, his hands folded and a glint in the glow in his eyes.

Shaking his head, Mich bowed several times in apology, wanting to clarify, he made mention of all the excuses Melody had come up with–all of which Hisha was already aware of.

"That boils to another conclusion, you were willing to mate with a strange mermaid just because she was alluring?!" Hisha teased with the click of his tongue.

Mich felt downcast by the observation, knowing there was no way of dismissing the fact that it was nothing but the bitter truth.

"Because of that, you were caught in your current situation and lost a few men?!" Hisha boomed, making sure to instill a fraction of fear and self-loathing in Mich.

Mich let out a sigh of disappointment in himself and nodded his head. "I was foolish, my lord."

'You got that right, foolish enough to plot to kill an immortal.' Hisha sneered.

"No amount of pleas could revert what had happened to me or my tribe, but I had also lost something precious to our tribe and this I seek, please help me find her."

'You're hopeless, fucking hopeless and you would never get your hands on the pearl in my possession.'

"I'd send out a search party, no part of Kurg would be left untouched,"

Mich let out a sigh of relief and thanked Hisha. "Your kindness is beyond any–"

"Only if you swear an oath of complete allegiance to me, any form of deceit would guarantee a much worse fate than that of the Lycan tribe."

Mich gasped, he had heard about what had transpired after Wae had killed his brother and was glad they had ranked higher and gotten more respect and fear from the others who took it as a form of support from the overlord to give such harsh punishment to the Lycan tribal chief and his people.

"My lord, I already am as loyal to you as any–"

Gasp!

Caught unawares by Hisha grabbing him by the neck, he stared wide-eyed as he was lifted above the ground, legs dangling and eyes staring into the glowing ones of Hisha.

"I don't offer this kind of service without knowing I don't lose any sort of respect and power. Helping doesn't mean I get taken for granted. I will only agree to this to establish my power over this land and to promote the peace I so worked hard for!" Hisha snarled, relishing in the fear that spread across Mich's face.

Forced to nod his head to the condition, he could almost sense that Hisha was almost close to the fact that he had nearly betrayed him in the past.

"As. you. wish. my. lord."

Letting Mich with a thud, he let Mich come to terms he had just been choked and his neck snapped with any slight pressure given from the overlord.

'That is a payback for what you had done to Melody!' Hisha cackled and maintained a smirk.

"Now that we have that settled, I'd be on my way, I would need to send out the task to my trusted guards, this shouldn't be too hard," Hisha assured with a smile and dusted his fingers.

Mich couldn't speak but managed to nod and actively avoid eye contact after what he had gone through at the hands of the overlord.

"If that's all, I would be taking my leave. Do rest up, you'd need it." Hisha advised with a nod over Mich's bed.

Mich nodded eagerly, hoping to be left alone as he had nodded.

Pulling on the door handle, he had not controlled his subsided anger and had ripped it out unintentionally.

Clank!

Clank!

Hisha watched with shock as the door knob fell to the ground and bounced two times before rolling underneath a lampstand.

Looking over his shoulder, he had wanted to comment on what had gone wrong but was stopped when Mich assured a little too loudly on the fact that he was okay with it, urging him to leave due to important situations and blaming it on the fact that Hisha was just too strong for a lowly door like the one he had.

"Those servants don't know how to put up quality things these days!" He complained with a scrunched-up nose.

'That's some terrible acting, right there!' Hisha internally facepalmed at having to stand and watch that.

With a wave of his hand, the door fell open and crashed onto the wall.

Taking this as his time to leave, Hisha stepped over the threshold and slammed the door behind him.

Mich jumped back in fear, startled but also expecting such an action.

Rushing back to the bedside table, he pulled on one of its drawers and whisked the scroll out and pulled open both sides, and reread its content and a grin made its way to his lips.

"It's only a matter of time till I get Divei, afterwards, this would be a complete win for me and my people!"

He let out a burst of deranged laughter and shoved the scroll back into the first drawer.

Adjusting his clothing, he cleared his throat and made his way toward the door. It was about time he visited his friend–Hik.

'My next plan would be much more satisfying since it affects lord Hisha's harem!' He had a grin as he left his chambers.
