Chapter 67 Is That Possible?

Tsk!

Tsk!

The voice clicked its tongue in an attempt to beckon it out.

Retracting its steps, a red glow could be seen in the shadows.

"You suppress your true potential, Vandrik."

Kritz snarled at the reference, disturbed by the words coming from someone or something he couldn't put a finger on.

Sprinting forward in hopes of getting the culprit before he would lose the traces, to his disappointment he saw black mist evaporating.

Cackles could be heard from the dissipating entity.

Kritz scanned his environment, confused by the sudden appearance of the unidentified voice.

He could have sworn that name he had been referred to felt strangely familiar.

Click!

Whipping his head back, he let out a sigh of relief at seeing his lord come out with a smirk.

"Lord Hisha..." He gave a slight bow in the presence of his lord.

Hisha shook his head and pulled Kritz by the ear.

"Come with me."

Kritz gritted his teeth as he was led away.

"My lord, did I disturb you?" Kritz asked with worry as he watched Hisha observe him suspiciously.

Hisha shook his head, on the contrary, he had a unique experience with his harem members and had been successful in gaining the rare item and the charismatic ability.

[What's going on in your thoughts, host?]

Hisha narrowed his eyes at Kritz, unsure if he could use the rare item on him.

"How would you feel if you had your greatest wish brought to reality just for a few hours?" Hisha questioned cryptically.

Kritz raised his brows at the question, unsure as to what his lord meant.

"As much as I would love to dream, there is no way my wish could be heard," he looked down dejected and his lips drew into a thin line.

[Host, are you planning to do what I think you want to do?

HTC repeatedly brought up the question in hopes of getting an answer, but to no avail.

[Are you still mad at me, host]

Hisha leaned on the wall, his arms folded as he thought back to what his system had made him go through before he could gain the requirements needed for accomplishing the task.

"What if I sat it's possible?!" Hisha pried further.

He had always wanted to know more about his assistant, what he loved doing, and what he could have wished was possible when he found him while young and in need of care.

Kritz's eyes widened at the suggestion, feeling Hisha did have a way to grant him his one true desire.

Dropping to his knees, he fell face flat and held the position since his hopes skyrocketed.

"Would you do that for me, my lord?" He muttered under his breath, happy and confused by what he could wish for.

Hisha smiled and nodded, "You can only get what you seek after a good rest."

With a raise of his head, Kritz bopped his head, in hopes of getting what he sought after.

Hisha had a smirk on the rare item's ability granted to him–with the ability to fulfill his loyal subordinate's wishes, he had the privilege of seeing through their eyes and gathering the information he might need in the future.

[Please listen to me, host]

'What do you want?' Hisha snapped and harrumphed inwardly.

[The wishes can not affect your life in any way, what makes you so confident that Kritz wouldn't choose you to be in it?]

'There must be something he is interested in, like his origin? I'm interested in that too.'

[Remember you are only required to use this item once a week and would only last for half a day]

HTC reminded its host of the rarity of the item.

'It's better to use it by someone than sitting there since I can't use it to know who Dalsa is.'

Hisha straightened the creases on his shirt, "Could I ask why you stationed yourself at the door?"

Kritz sweatdropped and forced his face to the side, unsure about how his response would be taken.

'How do I mention that I needed to redeem myself and stick by your side, but ended up meeting some crazy ghost voice which disappeared as fast as it came?'

"I had a feeling that you might be leaving earlier than necessary." Kritz lied and hoped Hisha would buy his silly excuse.

[That's exaggerated and unrealistic]

'That is correct, a load of bullshit that would make even Kritz lie to get me off the trail.' Hisha calculated and had the side of his lips raised.

"Alright."

[Alright?!!!]

HTC was beyond shocked by the quick compliance to the silly excuse.

Kritz let out a sigh of relief and forced a smile thereafter.

Best

Pulling Kritz by the collar, Hisha searched his eyes as he prepared to comment on what he had noticed. "I would like to believe that whatever that had transpired which would cause you to give a false report to me is nothing but for a good reason or an embarrassing situation."

His grip on Kritz's collar tightened and Kritz was having a hard time adjusting to the groping on his neck.

[You almost had me on the 'alright']

[I'm glad you haven't shown signs of naivety, a good start at your response by the way]

Hisha had a smirk at the compliment given by his system.

"I would never lie to you for the wrong reasons." Kritz began, uncomfortable in telling him what he had noticed.

If he did speak on it, like the first time such a similar fashion had been done, this news would drive off all sense of reasoning for Hisha.

[Something feels odd about the response]

'I had also noticed that too.' He rubbed his chin and couldn't shake off the tempting speech by Kritz.

[Would you like to use your charismatic ability on your first victim?]
