Carrying Karim into Zack's room and placing him on the ground that Zack had cleared up for him, Xavier had barely managed to carry him over, especially after all the training he had done.

"So, Zack, how'd you know about the drugs?"

"How wouldn't I know? He and his friends are the plugs in our school and the neighbourhood, and have a systematic way of dealing. They usually split up and I can't deny, they are quite organised."

"But they don't meet today, and it's usually at the end of every month. Which means that their re-up was earlier this time. Hmmm. That's quite weird."

Seeing that Zack was quite knowledgeable, Xavier decided to ask him some of the questions he had at the forefront of his mind.

"Zack, what can you tell me about an executive in the Wolf Gang that has a scar on his face? And what even is an executive of the gang?" he asked.

"You can't be talking about the one-eyed demon? If it's him, then he is one dangerous man."

He paused and just from how he reacted; it was clear that the man that Karim had met with was no ordinary man.

"Essentially, an executive in a gang is the person second only to the Gang Boss. They usually have their own unit, territory and reputation, and a Gang Boss would usually have multiple executives that oversee their territory for them."

"In this case, the executive you are speaking of is one that is very ruthless and renowned, and is also said to be the right-hand man of the Wolf Gang's Boss."

"And who is the Wolf Gang's boss?" asked Xavier, surprised by how much Zack knew.

"No one knows apart from the executives. He's a man that remains in the shadows and some say that the one-eyed demon is actually the boss of the gang, since he is the most influential figure under the supposed boss."

"Tell me more about his one-eyed demon."

"Yeah, sure. His story is quite well known to those that are in the criminal underworld. He started out in illegal underground fight clubs, making a name for himself there, and because of his extreme skill in combat, he was supposedly recruited by the Wolf Gang's Boss."

"The Wolf Gang was already an established gang, but had one big rival who they fought with over the control of Brooklyn. The Serpent Gang. But now, nobody knows of the Serpent Gang, and there is a reason for that."

"A gang war sparked between them, and racking up merits during that conflict, the one-eyed demon climbed up the ranks, but didn't have that name back then. And the story behind that name is quite over-exaggerated."

"After losing his eye in a large skirmish against the Serpent Gang, where he was struck with a machete, he went berserk and supposedly took down the executive responsible and all of his men alone."

"And to add to that, he supposedly did so in a single night and ended up killing a large number of them ruthlessly, and those that survived were left with severe injuries and recalled him as a demon."

"Since then, he has been regarded as the Wolf Gang's blood hound. The one that would handle all the gang's dirty work, including all the drugs and murders. The one that nobody wanted to offend in any way."

Xavier didn't know how much of that he believed, but seeing how he had crushed Karim without much effort, he certainly wasn't your average thug.

Seeing that Xavier was deep in thought, Zack clarified, "If you are thinking of teaming up with the remnants of the Serpent Gang to crush the Wolf Gang, that's just impossible."

"Why?"

"There simply aren't any remnants. And out of the few hundred murders that we know of that take place, the Wolf Gang is likely responsible for most of them. Allegedly."

"It's only possible for the NYPD to get their hands on the low of the low in the gang, and even when they do, after a few years in prison, they come out to continue doing the same thing. And even in prison, the Wolf Gang has great influence and power. Well, I guess money can buy almost anything."

Zack clearly knew a lot, and Xavier was glad that he had recruited him as he got up to leave.

"Going already?"

"Yeah, you seem to be getting ready to sleep, anyway."

Zack seemed to want to talk for longer, but Xavier wanted to leave and wanted to go somewhere before returning home.

"Zack, do you know of any illegal fight clubs, like the one that the one-eyed demon made a name for himself in?"

"Um, not really. I haven't looked into it. They usually take place in different places every night, but I'm sure Achara knows of some."

"Achara?"

"Yeah. The whole reason I went to her dojo was because I recognised her from a few matches in a fight club that I saw online, recorded by some guy on his phone. And she was actually quite famous, but stopped after a few fights."

"Achara?"

"Yes, Achara. What did they call her again...? The Unstoppable something. I forgot, but she should know of some."

"And why didn't you mention any of this sooner?"

"Well, you didn't ask."

Xavier couldn't argue with that and sighed, "You're really amazing, Zack. I appreciate the info and you letting Karim stay here for the night."

He seemed to like getting praised and became slightly embarrassed, "Haha, it was nothing boss. And I'll make sure this punk gets to school."

"Good, I'll see you tomorrow."

With that, Xavier excused himself and left Zack's home, and was struggling to conceal his excitement.

"I guess I'm going to an illegal fight club."
