While Angela was being harassed and backed against the vending machine, suddenly, someone shouted as they burst towards them.

"Move away from my girlfriend, you big fucker!"

It was Xavier, and he looked amazing as he flew through the air and kicked the giant man in the side of the head.

Such a powerful fly kick would have been enough to instantly knock out most, but it merely knocked him away, and impressively, he was still able to stay standing.

But it was clear he was dizzy and Xavier had expertly struck him on the temple, displaying his incredible flexibility and power to be able to deal such a powerful kick to someone much taller and larger than him.

"Get out of here before I beat your ass. And if you so much as look at her wrong again, I'll kill you," Xavier threatened while glaring at him.

It was clear that he truly meant his words as he glared at the larger man, who felt a chill run down his spine.

Despite being a beast that was covered in tattoos, very tall and muscular, and having an intimidating appearance, before Xavier, he weirdly felt afraid for his life.

"I-I-I'm sorry," he apologised while stuttering, barely able to get out his words, as he scurried out of the gym pathetically.

He had a history of harassing women in that gym and Angela was in the process of getting him arrested and placing a restraint order on him, but she didn't even have to act again.

Seeing how frightened and shaken he became before Xavier, she once again found it hard to believe that he was merely a 17 year old.

"You know I could have handled that... But I appreciate it," she said.

Despite being intimidated by the larger man that was harassing her, she truly was about to act and was going to strike his groin, before detaining him and calling for someone in her department to come and arrest him.

However, Xavier ended up dealing with him before she could.

"So... does this make us even?" he asked shamelessly.

"Huh?!"

"Come on. At least this pays for the eggs and the drink."

She bursts out into laughter before reassuring him, "Don't worry about any of that. Let's just go back to the apartment."

"What about weight training? Wasn't the running just a warm up?"

"A warm up! Are you even human?"

"That run was more than enough and we can stretch a bit back in the apartment. For now, I wanna get out of here."

"Alright, lead the way."

Xavier didn't really mind, and followed after Angela as they left the gym.

Meanwhile, in the corner of the gym with a finger on his ear, a man spoke quietly, "Code red averted. The target is safe, and the danger was dealt with by an unknown young male companion."

A voice communicated back to him through his earpiece, "Research and tail the man. Make sure you and your unit aren't seen or detected."

"Yes, sir."

Xavier had noticed that there seemed to be a few people around the gym that constantly had their eyes on Angela, but he didn't sense any malicious intent coming from them, so he ignored it.

Trusting his instincts, as long as no one was out to harm her, he didn't care and it was understandable for her to have many secret admirers.

But at the same time, he felt that there was more to it than that and for that reason, he easily agreed with Angela to get out of there as they stood opposite each other in the lift.

This time, much less awkward than when they were on the way down.

-

"Xavier, you should be really careful who you mess with?" she warned.

"That guy was big and looked dangerous. And if he lives in this building, he must have quite a lot of money. You are young..."

"Don't worry about me. I can handle it and I will avoid getting into trouble," he reassured her.

She wasn't convinced and told him that if he ever needed personal help without calling the cops, he could call her.

He reassured her that he would, but his pride wouldn't let him actually do so and if he didn't have his own pride, then what did he have?

"Also, why did you call me your girlfriend...?" she asked, slightly embarrassed by his words.

"Just to get him to back off," answered Xavier as he gave her a cheeky wink.

"Stop teasing me," she pouted, as they reached the floor her apartment was on.

Completing some basic stretches in her apartment, Angela was very tired and after a few minutes, went into her room to shower.

"You can use that bathroom to shower. Bella and I don't use it and there should be everything you need in there," she said to him.

"Alright, but I'm going to stretch for a while longer."

Flexibility for a fighter is very important and many don't bother to stretch, but it will limit how capable they are in combat.

Taking the time to stretch daily for at least 15 minutes, Xavier maintained a level of flexibility that allowed him to kick taller opponents with ease.

And after such a long run, it was important to stretch so that he didn't get any cramps or injuries later, and it would also ease the fatigue in his legs.

He stretched for so long that Angela had already cleaned up and left her room, and was surprised to see that he was still stretching.

And seeing what he was wearing, she decided she would get him something else to wear.
