Chapter 77 Memory Recorder

"These gadgets are very expensive, Jiang Ming." Yuan Chunhua said.

"Are you sure you know how to use it?" She asked nervously.

As much as she believed Jiang Ming's conduct, she doesn't know if he was bluffing right now or not.

The gadgets were obtained with much difficulty since there aren't a lot of inscription masters available in the Northern Continent.

Hence, if Jiang Ming was bluffing and broke her gadgets, then she would feel a burn in her wallet since she would need to replace it with a new one.

And even if she got the money to purchase another one, she wasn't sure if there are even available stocks for her to purchase.

Meanwhile, Jiang Ming was angered by her suspicion.

"Give me that," He said coldly, and directly snatched the gadgets from her hand.

"S-Stop it, Jiang Ming." She tried to stop him from using it, but Jiang Ming flashed her a fierce look.

Yuan Chunhua swallowed some of her saliva nervously as she was taken aback by his fierce look.

"F-Fine, but you are warned, Jiang Ming. If it breaks, then I'm going to have you pay for it." She threatened.

Jiang Ming nodded his head.

"Rest assured, even if I break this crap item, I will repay you with a new one. One that has much more functions than this." He said calmly.

Sometime later, Jiang Ming began activating the gadgets, and his proficiency in using them was even better than Yuan Chunhua.

'Alright, time to scan from the sky.' he thought.

And with a flick, the gadgets were thrown high above the air.

Yuan Chunhua was on the verge of crying when she saw how casually Jiang Ming had treated her precious gadgets.

'Oh Lord, please don't break it, please don't break my precious gadgets.' She prayed silently, closing her eyes since her heart can't handle the pressure.

While Yuan Chunhua was panicking for her dear gadget, Jiang Ming held a resolute expression as he injected some of his spiritual qi at the gadgets.

More specifically, he was targeting the symbols that were drawn by the inscription master.

The symbol was drawn like a lion seal and it started to glow as soon as Jiang Ming's spiritual qi connected with it.

A few seconds later, a large fluctuation of spiritual qi was flushed throughout the Guilong Forest.

Jiang Ming smirked at the sight of this and knew he hadn't lost his touch with such gadgets.

"Hehe, even though it's been so long since I've used a [Memory Recorder], this one is still doable." He muttered.

The fluctuation of the spiritual qi gradually diminished as the gadgets fell down from the sky.

One by one, they crashed onto the ground with numerous cracks on it.

Yuan Chunhua's face turned ashen white when she rushed to check on her gadgets.

"..."

She remained silent for a while as she tried to salvage all the gadgets, only to realize that not a single one had managed to survive.

"All destroyed… the gadgets that I had preserved for so long are gone in one day." She laughed bitterly, almost like she couldn't believe the scene in front of her.

Jiang Ming laughed awkwardly when he saw how distressed she was.

'It's just a gadget… why did she have to be so distressed about it?' He thought.

The gadgets that Yuan Chunhua was treasuring was called a [Memory Recorder], a device used to record the scene that had happened in the past.

Jiang Ming wasn't unfamiliar with such devices because it was available throughout the markets and auction in Cultivation Omega.

It was so common that people had treated it like dirt.

Therefore, Jiang Ming couldn't understand Yuan Chunhua's current feeling, considering the low quality of the [Memory Recorder].

Meanwhile, Yuan Chunhua had an expression that seemed like she wants to murder someone.

Her eyes had turned bloodshot as she glared at Jiang Ming.

"You-" She raised her finger up and pointed at him.

Her blood was boiling and her brows wrinkled in an angry manner. She wanted to explode at Jiang Ming, and straight-up thrash him for being so careless.

However, she quickly tried to recompose herself and take a deep breath.

"Tell me you got some useful information. Otherwise, I don't think I can control my emotions much longer, Jiang Ming." She tried her best to sound as calm as possible, urging him to give her some good news.

Jiang Ming nodded his head.

"Rest assured, your gadgets aren't wasted for nothing." He reassured her, snapping his finger.

A fluctuation of spiritual qi began to gather in one place and the same transparent screen as before appeared.

Unlike the time when Yuan Chunhua used it, Jiang Ming managed to enlarge the size of the transparent screen by two times, making it easier for them to view.

At the same time, Yuan Chunhua's attention was quickly on the gooey and gamey liquid substance that had transformed into a humanoid-looking puppet.

"It's that unknown substance again," Yuan Chunhua exclaimed in surprise.

"But how did you manage to capture this scene when I failed to do so previously?" She asked in a dumbfounded tone.

"That's because you were using the gadget in an amateur way." Jiang Ming said calmly, his eyes focusing on the substance.

"Hmph, what a show-off."

"Show-off or not, let's see where the substance is going before we start debating about who's more proficient in the gadgets."

Yuan Chunhua nodded her head.

He was right, now was not the time to debate on some petty thing, but on the unknown substance.

Throughout her years of cultivation, she had never seen such a mysterious substance before that could transform into a humanoid form.

"The substance seemed to be walking away in the direction that we came from," She said.

Meanwhile, Jiang Ming narrowed his eyes as he felt somewhat suspicious about the substances but just couldn't tell exactly what was wrong.

'Strange… Why do I have a feeling of deja vu here?' He wondered silently.
