Chapter 172 Confession

Razor's muddle-headed state did not confuse Roland. This was an effect bought by intense pain that he had just gone through. An intense pain that seemingly became just an imagination with a touch of an accupoint, anyone would be disorientated after experiencing such a horrible matter.

What was more terrifying about this method was that it would damage the target's body by any means if it was not abused.

The degree of effect varies from person to person depending on the strength of their soul or spiritual power. And maybe because Razor was a Heaven Energy Cultivator, he recovered from his dazed state five seconds later.

He looked at Roland and One in fear. He looked at them as if they were a devil sent by the king of hell to fetch him.

At this moment, Roland suddenly raised his hand, as if indicating for One to start another round of the painful mental torture. A shiver went down Razor's spine seeing such an action.

"P-please. Please no more," tears started to fall down his face as he looked at Roland pitifully.

The pain he experienced earlier was enough. There was no need to go through that horrible experience again the second time. He was already ready to confess everything to Roland.

Roland was not heartless either, he immediately started the interrogation that lasted for more than thirty minutes.

Bam!

A gunshot was heard thirty minutes later. As requested by Razor, Roland allowed One to end his life swiftly without any more suffering.

'Kill them as well,' he said inside his mind, communicating with Nine using the Secret Communication Technique.

There was no pity on his eyes as he said those ruthless words. After what he heard from Razor's confession, the little guilt that he felt for ordering the kill earlier has already disappeared like a smoke. He even thought that they deserved it, and that killing them directly earlier was only a light punishment.

'Human trafficking, child rape... What a bunch of abominations!' He exclaimed deep inside him as he went back to the car.

The thought of their evil doings awakened a distant memory of his. None of his mercenary members were good, and those who barely passed human morals either quit, or were killed by Razor to feed his Power Slaves in order to cultivate them.

Razor's body, as well as the remaining hooligans would be sent back to the mansion to get burned together with the mansion as well.

And speaking of the Power Slave techniques, Razor willingly shared how it was done as well. However, it was extremely evil that Roland immediately abandoned the thought of using it.

Not only would the user need to castrate himself, it also requires a sacrificial life to feed to the Power Slaves in order to make them stronger. If Razor did not try to cultivate ten at once, one of his Power Slaves might have already leveled up to 2 or even 3 by this time, and if he used the technique, Power Transfuse at the top of that, he would have probably leveled up to early level 4.

Of course, this doesn't mean it was easy cultivating just a single one as well. As the higher the power slaves level goes, the more resources would one need to feed them as well. So the best thing to do was still to cultivate many Power Slaves at once.

If this technique did not have such strict and evil requirements, Roland would have surely tried to use it as well.

Aside from that, Roland also learned of some useful information from Razor.

Apparently, he was sent here by Tiger Tyrant to investigate and search for a certain phenomenon. This phenomenon was said to be something that could not be predicted, but can only be chanced upon. Tiger Tyrant mentioned that this phenomenon was related to the reason why Fore City and the other cities don't have Heaven Energies that cultivators used to strengthen themselves.

To be honest, Roland also wanted to see what this phenomenon was like as well.

At this moment, he still doesn't have the so-called Heaven Energy and he doesn't even know what they were truly like.

However, as the Tiger Tyrant said, this was not something that can be seen easily. This phenomenon can only be chanced upon.

Knowing that he still won't be able to meet such a phenomenon, Roland decided to ignore this matter first and focus on what's on hand.

The area that they were in now was only a few minutes away from Sparkling Buds. However, because of the situation earlier, Roland ordered Five and Six to bring Stacey and Janine away.

According to the latest situation, they were now on their way to Stacey's home as it was closer. Roland rode the Veloz along with the others to meet with them.

After the Veloz pulled up in front of Stacey's humble courtyard, it immediately drove past the distance as the guards proceeded to guard the perimeter as if no major battle had happened earlier.

One, of course, was stationed directly in front of the house boldly. He stood there like an unmoving pillar, as if nothing could put him there aside from Roland.

Roland knocked on the door and Stacey opened it for him. Six and Five who were inside nodded at him before they went out to do their duty.

"Are you guys alright?" Roland blurted out the first time he saw them.

He was not worried about them being hurt, he was worried that they might have experienced some sort of fear from the situation.

Stacey and Janine nodded their heads one after the other. At the same time, both of them looked at Roland with worry in their eyes.

"How about you? Are you alright? How's the situation now?" Stacey asked consecutively. She then held Roland's hand and brought him towards the familiar sofa, as she allowed him to sit softly.

As if understanding the situation, Janine walked away towards the kitchen as well, as she took a glass of water and handed it to Roland, as if to calm him down.

Roland thanked them both wholeheartedly as he began to tell them the situation. He omitted the part where he ordered to kill a lot of people as he thought that those were better left unsaid.

He just told them who the mastermind was as well as the real danger of the group of hooligans.

"What? I actually hoped that those people only exist in novels, but in the end.. Sigh!" Stacey said with a disheartened expression hearing the situation from Roland.

Even she herself could not help but feel disgusted by those abominations.

"Where are they now? They should be sent to prison and rot there forever," she continued.

Janine also nodded her head to the side, as if to affirm Stacey's statement.

Roland smiled at them before shaking his head, "Don't worry about it, we already handled it. And I'm sure that they won't be able to do it again."

"That's good to hear then. And right, that Bryan needs to be taught a lesson. Roland, tell me, should I call and inform Carrol about it? Ithink she'll be able to handle this matter as well," Stacey said as she looked at Roland.

Deep inside, even though Roland did not say it, she was vaguely aware that there was something wrong in Roland. She did not know what it was but she knew that it would be related to the recent situation, so she offered to help as it might solve the problem once and for all.

Her family was quite rich, what's the use of their wealth if she can't use it for her man?

Roland shook his head before nodding it again, "Don't worry about it. We can handle it. Speaking of Carrol, can you inform her that I want to ask something about her?"

Ever since the last incident, Carrol has already started to distance herself more from Stacey. Far enough not to interfere with One and the other's operation, and far enough that she could respond to Stacey's side in an instant.

Ever since then, Roland has no longer heard of One mentioning about seeing her again. Of course, if he really wanted to, they could locate her easily as well. However, he knew that there were boundaries to everything, and he didn't want to cross the boundaries just like that.

"I can, but I don't think she knows you," she said with a wry smile.

"Wait, let me tell her about you first, hehe," Stacey giggled as she proceeded to contact Carrol.

Roland chuckled at her antics. He then looked at Janine and said, "You know that you can sit right?"

Janine's body visibly stiffened the moment Roland looked at her. She nodded her head as she began to panic while searching for a place to sit. She recalled how Roland was already aware of her feelings. The thought of it made her rise into panic.

"Are you alright?" Roland asked in concern as he observed that Janine seemed to be out of place.

Janine finally managed to sit awkwardly, she looked at Roland slightly before nodding her head shyly as she looked away almost immediately.

Roland was confused at her actions, but Stacey beside him giggled at Janine's obvious actions. She knew that what she said earlier was getting into her, however, Stacey doesn't plan on doing anything. She should overcome this herself to gain a place in Roland's heart.

Speaking of this matter, she still needs to inform Roland about this as well.

This was her decision first, and she knew full well that she would have to convince him for this to work. She doesn't think that Roland would be against it as well anyways. She knew that he only needed a little convincing.
