Chapter 58 Discoveries, Resolution

Butler Frank first scanned Roland's body. A frown gradually appeared on his face, thinking that he felt that something had changed on his body that Butler Frank was not able to pinpoint.

"Master Roland, are you okay?" He asked, concern was apparent in his voice.

Roland merely nodded his head, indicating that he was indeed fine.

"I am. Missus Stella, could you please clean my room a bit? I might have messed it up big time this time, hehe." Roland said with a wry smile.

Housekeeper Stella had also smelled the foul smell when the door was opened earlier. She nodded her head in response to Roland's order.

"Leave it to us, Master!" She said as she bowed her head before calling a maid over.

"Thank you!" Roland said before going downstairs with Butler Frank who still had a frown on his face.

p However, he knew that it would be disrespectful to ask his master about it so he decided to just ignore it. As long as his Master was safe, then nothing really matters anymore.

Roland promised Stacey that he would welcome her in the airport later. It has already been almost 7 hours since her flight and he estimated that she might arrive in an hour or so.

After he talked with Butler Frank a bit, he called Janine over and told her to drive him to the airport.

Because Roland could tell that Janine truly loved driving the Sian, he decided to make her his official driver from now on.

Butler Frank and Housekeeper Stella had no problem with it either, and Janine was also more than happy to be appointed in a job like this.

After the two drove off, Butler Frank went upstairs to meet with Housekeeper Stella.

"Did you notice something strange?"

In fact, Butler Frank was still worried about Roland's wellbeing.

Usually, wealthy people have a lot of enemies and have a lot of people that envy their wealth.

Due to this fact, their life was constantly in danger, hence the reason why almost most of the wealthy people had their own bidy guards or security personnel protecting their surroundings twenty-four-seven.

He was worried that Roland might have been targeted by one of his enemies and might have been threatened not to tell anyone. Hence, the moment Roland and Janine drove off, he decided to take a look at his bedroom along with Stella who also had her own worries.

Housekeeper Stella shook her head as an answer to Butler Frank's question.

"I found nothing suspicious other than this puddle of sticky black goo on the floor."

Butler Frank frowned as he squatted and touched the goo with his bare hand. The pungent smell assaulted his nose, but he had no particular reaction to this kind of smell, as if he was already used to it.

His eyes suddenly lit up as if thinking of something as he rubbed the black goo on his thumb and index finger, as if determining its texture.

He waved his hands in the air, signaling for the other maids to get out first.

"Did you find something?" Housekeeper Stella asked.

Instead of answering, Butler Frank looked her straight in the eyes and posed a question of his own, "Stella, do you still remember the last time we set foot on a B-Grade City?"

Housekeeper Stella nodded her head, "Of course, it's the time where I was just pregnant with Janine. It's around 19 years ago."

"Indeed, it has been 19 years since we left those dangerous places. All this while, we have been trying to escape such fate, moving from a high-grade city and all the way to this remote H-Grade City," Butler Frank said with a melancholic tone.

He stopped for a moment before continuing with a heavy tone,"We have been trying to escape our tragic past for the past 19 years…"

"But perhaps, the past that we had been denying, the past that we had been escaping, perhaps… this might actually be our real destiny?"

Housekeeper Stella frowned, not understanding what he meant. However, her eyes suddenly turned wide as if she also realized something.

"Do you mean…"

Butler Frank nodded his head.

"When a human breaks through their shackles of being a mortal and starts transcending beyond the capabilities of a human, impurities accumulated inside his body will be expelled in the form of black and pungent sticky liquid, like this goo that I am holding…"

"Stella, I suspect that Master Roland has already broken through the mortal limits and has already ascended beyond it."

A smile gradually turned to his face as he looked at Housekeeper Stella, "No wonder I felt that something has changed about him. It looks like it was due to him breaking the shackles just now."

"And for him to endure the pain with just a grunt… His willpower is incredible!" Butler Frank exclaimed in admiration.

"This is insane. If what you said is the truth, doesn't that mean that our current Master is a cultivation genius? Reaching Level 2 Human before 20 years old… I'm afraid even those geniuses from the ancient clans could not be compared to him at all." Housekeeper Stella said with a hiss.

'ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs, ᴘʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴠɪsɪᴛ Novel(B) in.ᴄᴏᴍ ᴛᴏ ᴇxᴘᴇʀɪᴇɴᴄᴇ ꜰᴀsᴛᴇʀ ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ sᴘᴇᴇᴅ.',

Butler Frank laughed loudly. He could relate to her feelings. He was also quite shaken the moment he realized this fact.

"What do you think we should do?" He stood up and asked the shaken Housekeeper Stella.

Housekeeper Stella had a dark expression on her face. Memories of what happened from a long time ago surfaces inside her brain at this moment, making her eyes tear up a little.

Finally, as if she decided something, a firm look appeared on her face as she looked straight at Butler Frank's eyes.

"Frank, I'm already tired of escaping… This is not the life that I wanted. I don't want Janine to constantly adapt and make new friends everytime we move from cities after cities.

If what you said about this being our true destiny, then shouldn't we face it bravely?"

Butler Frank smiled in satisfaction. He pulled Housekeeper Stella in his embrace as he said lightly, "Good! Then let's not escape anymore. It's better to dedicate our life to this genius Master, right?"

"Hahaha- and besides, doesn't our child like it here very much?"

If Roland were to hear his hearty laugh, he would surely be surprised.

Housekeeper Stella smiled and nodded in confirmation after recalling Janine's smile even though she just arrived here this morning.

The happiness contained in her eyes as she accompanies Roland could not be fake.

"Indeed," she muttered under her breath.
