Chapter 129 34: Making A God Bleed [Finale!]

Splutter! The sound of flesh tearing sounded before enormous dragon wings unfurled from the back of Zell; blood and discarded flesh not suitable for the flight were sent flying in the air, using the sudden burst of speed to dodge Tellurian and lifting into the air, breathing deeply as his wounds slowly healed.

'Faster, stronger... More power! I cannot allow myself to get hurt again! I will destroy this bastard before the merging!'

Zell soared high above the battlefield, soaring higher than any human should ever fly, before slamming down and knocking the body of Tellurian flying with a fierce kick; the counter from Tellurian's sword smashed into his flank, shaking his organs.

The metal boots on his feet became like a dragon, with large claws that dug into the earth beneath him, creating a crater that would last for centuries to come to stabilise his body as blood seeped from the cracks in his skin.

"A flying lizard, huh? Well, alright, those humans cannot compare to you... Let's accept that deal!"

Tellurian's swords vanished before he looked at the standing demon.

A disgust filled him as he remembered his former wife leaving and abandoning him after falling into darkness and becoming a demon goddess.

'Impure.... disgusting.'

Zell stood tall, unwavering, as his lips opened, the broken helmet falling from his body and vanishing into mana particles.

"I will stop this attack if you return my goddesses; I don't care if you strip their divinity! But Yanfra and Yinfra must be returned to me and placed on Vesteria! NOW! Then I will stop slaying humans and focus on the demonic invasion!"

Tellurian stopped; there was no chance of giving them both! More so, how does he know Yanfra? Was it because of Yinfra?

The two acted like strangers, but he knew long ago they were twins but never spread the word. Yanfra was their key to stopping the demons; how did this boy even know her existence?

'I see; he does it for Yinfra, a slight sense of justice at least. Let's accept this part, but Yanfra cannot be released!'

"I hate to accept, but only Yinfra will be sent to you, stripped of her divinity and never permitted to return to "Eden" ever again. This is the limit of my patience for a hybrid like you; why couldn't you be a pure human or elf!?"

"Hybrid... Impure..." Zell whispered to himself...

That moment in his past life began to flash before his eyes.

Demons invaded Europa V. Countless people fought, but most fled before the battle started; the person who led that escape was Samson, the most influential champion on earth at the point, only Tessa being second place due to her avoiding most men.

Zell realised that maybe it was not "Samson" who chose to abandon her, but this bastard right here!?

'No, was the whole thing a misunderstanding!? This cunt here caused that entire event to take place?'

The sounds of her wailing voice, the cries of her pain as she was tortured in the city centre, and the demons were cruel to Tessa, one of humanity's greatest threats.

They first tore off each limb slowly. One at a time, allowing her screams to fill the city, then over ten days, they would flay her flesh with fierce whips healing it before nightfall, only to continue an hour later, with no time for rest or a swift death, Tessa was used as a symbol to show humanity what they did to those who resisted.

He couldn't think straight; the sheer anger building inside him was like a bomb, just waiting to go off and kill this pompous god!

Snap! Tellurian's fingers clicked before he turned to Zell with a smug smile.

"There, the filthy animal is now in the dirty hovel you call home!"

Zell stopped for a moment, his face seemingly calm and emotionless.

"Hey, Tellurian, you are an avatar and NOT a human player right now? His voice was light, not aggressive or angry at all, which lowered Tellurian's guard as the body of Zell released the black armour, slowly walking towards Tellurian with no sense of hostility; even the Zwéihander faded.

'Oh? Does he finally see the light?'

"Yes, this isn't Samson's body, but my own," Tellurian said, now only a few yards apart at most.

Zell's head dropped, his lips faintly moved, the words "Flambur, Glacira, Heavy blow, Tyrant's Aegis spoken without sound, as black scales instantly filled his entire body.

His flame that smouldered in his body burst like a firestorm melting the ground he stood upon as Tellurian's eyes widened, summoning a single sword.

'Kill...Kill... I will kill this bastard!'

It was too late as Zell charged towards him with his Onslaught; his black Axe lifted high into the air...

-

Tessa awoke to the sound of a loud crash and a scream; she sat up and looked around as tears fell from her red cheeks.

The sheets covering her nakedness dropped as she felt something significant had just happened. Still, she was clueless; in her dream, there was a terrifying event, and she stood alone in darkness...

But the moment she was about to be consumed and crushed by the darkness and their attacks.

A black and scarlet flame smashed down, blocking all the attacks and spells coming her way; she awoke covered in sweat and with tears in her eyes.

'Zell... Where are you!?'

She wanted to contact Zell, but the in-game message function failed to message him as she quickly stood up and dashed downstairs, hoping, praying he was cooking dinner!

"He must be downstairs! Please... I feel worried and anxious...!"

-

The dark area where countless NPCs and players were joking and laughing a few hours ago had become a scene of destruction, a vast crater with no corpses or even their blood remaining.

A golden radiance shot into the sky as it filled the night sky, transforming it into daytime like a burning sun; monsters fled countless miles away, taking refuge in weaker forests as they devoured the weak new players and got revenge on the golden light this way.

Many gods in Eden could feel a trembling in the game's world, which caused them to tune in only to be shocked at what they saw; countless demon gods suddenly gasped in delight.

While Yanfra remained chained inside the cell deep inside Eden, still a brilliant smile filled her lips as she spoke but one line of her divination.

"And so, the first goddess falls and becomes a maiden of woe, his first and most loyal."

'Congratulations, sister, now you can come out of my shadow and finally become yourself!'

-

In Franza Zell's mansion, a silver tabby and a woman with red hair looked at each other with their hands on a cold piece of fish from the refrigerator.

Yinfra was quite shocked at first when she was about to be shackled and taken to have her godhood torn from her soul, now instead, she lost those powers, or maybe they were sealed and found herself in Zell's kitchen as she had manifested beside her former avatar which opened the fridge with its skilled paws and pulled out a plate of fish.

Thus a second war began for her, for the last Fishy on the plate.

"Shaaa!" Yinfra wailed to the silver cat as her hair and tail fluffed up.

"Hsssss!" Infra, the silver tabby, boxed her nose with her paw in defiance of her former master.

Before the two could react, a golden flash of fur shot past them; Yanfra carried the Fishy in her lips with a smug look at the pair.

Dashing away the footsteps of Tessa sounded on the wooden stairs, loud and creaking.

"ZELL!?"
