312 Becoming a true God

Alex’s body slowly reached the ground as his eyes were pinned on the three figures standing ahead of the deviant army.

“Alex, it’s nice to see you again. It has been a while since the last time we spoke” God’s eyes stood with a deep frown on his face.

He could see Alex now but he couldn’t see the future.

Alex stood unmoved by their appearance but seemed strangely calm now he has met them. Right now he simply wanted to know why they still remain this way. It seemed like a way he would justify his next actions.

“What are you doing?” Alex asked calmly.

“Protecting some of the human race. When the Danites come and wipe out the entire human race, we will remain and make sure our race doesn’t die out” God’s eyes said without fear.

“Hahahaha! I’m glad you all are still as selfish and dumb as you have always been. Now I have no reason not to kill you all” Alex said coldly as he strode forward quickly.

If one was too inferior they would think he was just teleporting forward while in reality, he was just walking.

GET BACK!

As if the world was bending to his will, Alex was hit by an invisible force, sending him flying hundreds of meters back!

Blegh!

God’s words eyes widened with shock as he spat out a mouthful of blood. He watched Alex roll on the floor a bit and spring back to his feet.

“Hmph! Not bad... as expected of the God sect. But this is far from enough” Alex said coldly as he patted the dust off his jacket.

“Impudent! You dare defy the gods?”

Boom!

God’s wrath shot into the air as lightning surged around him, giving the impression of a lightning deity descending on him!

“I’m so tired of these fake gods!” Alex said with a cruel look on his face. Without even moving a finger a powerful shockwave erupted from his body, slamming against the lightning deity!

Boom!

God’s wrath was thrown back, leaving everyone to watch as the great member of the God sect whom they all feared were toyed with.

Swish!

A figure pranced forward with a two-sided spear in his hands.

Thud!

Landing next to Alex abruptly, he struck frowned, creating countless spears after images!

Boom!

God’s eyes were blown back by a single punch from Alex which shattered the spear and sent him spiraling into the air!

“Weak...” Alex sneered as he threw both hands forward and his eyes surged with darkness.

“GET BACK!” Another furious cry sent Alex flying back, disrupting his attempt to attack, but at the same time...

God’s words fell to his knees, coughing aggressively. His face had lost all colors and his body trembled nonstop. An aura of weakness surrounded him while Alex’s pearls of laughter began resonating loudly, filling the skies.

“Good... Good. Keep going! I would like to see how long you can last against me” Alex laughed as he strode forward at a calm pace.

Seeing this, God’s word’s eyes stilled and he calmly got to his feet and cupped his fists, hiding them under his sleeves as he approached without fear.

Seeing the two mighty figures casually approach each other with killing intent radiating in their eyes, the world could only hold its breath while they watched with anticipation.

“Come at me, show me the strength only the old monsters of this world can possess” Alex snorted disdainfully as his body shot forward like a missile with only one target.

God’s word!

GET BACK!

BOOM!

Alex was thrown back like a rag doll!

ON YOUR KNEES!

BOOM!

Alex only rose to his feet but almost immediately a mighty force fell on him from behind, causing him to fall to his knees.

Almost!

Alex’s knees almost hit the floor but just stopped, suspended in mid-air as fierce power erupted from his body nonstop, shattering the world around Alex.

“Alex Briggs kneels for no one. Alex Briggs is inferior to no one. Alex Briggs is god” Alex said coldly as he slowly rose to his feet. His eyes blazed with killing intentions as his legs began moving again.

Once again Alex began approaching God’s words with each step as heavy as a mountain, causing his legs to sink into the earth with each step taken.

“Die!”

Bang!

Alex’s body shuddered under the effect of this word but he kept approaching at the same pace.

“Die!”

“Die!”

“Di...”

Bang!

Alex grabbed God’s word by the throat and lifted him off the ground.

“You lost”

Crack!

Everyone watched in horror as a member of the god sect fell to the ground with a twisted neck.

Dead.....

“ALEX BRIGGS!!!” God’s eyes and God’s wrath trembled with rage as both of them shot towards Alex with all their power exploding violently.

“Before the power of a real god, you all are nothing!” Alex’s body was suddenly consumed in black flames as a sea of black flames poured out of his hands, covering the skies.

Not just the God sect but the deviants behind them were completely consumed by the black flames and reduced to nothing in just an instant!

Thousands died that day and the world watched one man kill them all effortlessly.

With these people dead, Alex felt slightly better. He finally came to the realization that this world needs him now and this is the time for him to shape it into what he believes is best for it.

Alex couldn’t help but imagine having three planets under his command. With the teleportation platforms, they can conduct trade and travel to these other planets easily. That way each planet can respond to the needs of other planets should they be attacked.

With Alex as their backer, the three planets felt extremely safe and were compelled to do as he says. Luckily Alex wasn’t a man of many desires. Personally, he decided not to affect the lives of the other races but his major changes were made on earth, on the people whom he felt he knew the best about.
