257 Silver’s true strength!

“What now?” God’s word asked as he shot Silver a cold gaze.

He never had a good impression of Silver and Alex since they were the only ones who have ever made the world question the strength of the God sect. As someone who has lived in pride all his life, he hated that feeling and blamed them for that.

Deep down he had great resentment for them!

“We are not going to gather an army and fight the enemy, we don’t know what they are capable of, so it will most likely be a losing fight!” Silver said thoughtfully.

Hearing this everyone slowly nodded in agreement but they were completely in tune with this plan. If they don’t attack now, then what are they meant to do?

“What do you suggest we do then?” The Danite third prince asked with a raised eyebrow. He wasn’t too trusting of silver and his group so it was only normal he reacted that way. As for Silver, he didn’t feel offended even one bit, instead, he found it amusing.

“We know their location. We know where they are going. Currently, they are moving towards the territories of the alliance so let them go, we don’t need to chase” Silver said calmly.

“We let them deal with the alliance for us? Brilliant!” The third prince of the Danite race laughed. Thinking of this now, he soon realized he was bothering much about the enemy and had forgotten the most important thing.

“Is he always this dumb?” Silver asked when he heard the third Danite prince’s comment!

His words were unexpected and immediately

said it, the entire room fell silent as shock and fear gripped their eyes. Right now, Earth is no different from a subsidiary kingdom in a large empire. These invaders are not beings they can fight against that’s why they joined hands with them in the first place. Seeing someone call the third prince of the mighty Danite race was unexpected.

“You!!!!!” The Danite prince exploded in rage and cried out. He gripped the armrests of his throne as if he were about to stand but before he could a bright white light spread across the room and when it faded, Silver could be seen standing in front of the Danite prince with an energy silver blade lightly placed so close to his throat he dared not move.

Silver sat on the desk in front of him as he held the Danite prince hostage and a calm look on his face. His eyes were blazing with silver light and his hair fluttered gently while his body lit up, revealing countless silver tattoos hidden under his clothes.

“I have always said Alex and I have always been alike and that’s why we got along well but people fail to understand my words. Just as Alex is as smart as I am, I am also as strong as he is. I simply detest direct confrontations, unlike him. Silver Ainsworth has been a lot of things but I have never been weak” Silver’s voice was detached and cold spreading across the room. His aura which was once concealed was allowed to spread far, revealing his strength to everyone in the room!

“Earl level! When did he reach the Earl level? I can’t even remember him reaching the SS ratings!” Black Dragon emperor cried out of shock as he sensed Silver’s power level.

This instantly reminded him of Alex Briggs who killed his successor and brightest disciple, Master Ye!

Boom!

“YOU DARE!” the black dragon emperor roared and promptly stood up but that was all he could do!

Swoosh!

After the loud scream, the entire room fell silent as they gazed at the silver beam which erupted from Silver’s open palm, punching a hole in the black dragon emperor’s chest!

His body shivered as he retreated with a hint of shock in his eyes. His body hit the wall behind and his blood ran down, staining the walls and more.

Fortunately, such an injury is not enough to kill a being that has surpassed the level of mere mortals. But even then, Silver’s attacks came with a paralytic effect, causing the black dragon emperor to fall on his butt while gazing at Silver with eyes filled with fear.

Buzz!

The entire room fell silent and everyone gazed at Silver’s back, not daring to move rashly.

Thud!

Suddenly a figure stood up, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. His eyes were calm but hidden within was deep hatred boiling.

“You have made your point, you have shown your strength... Lay down your arms now!” God’s word said coldly while gazing at Silver.

His appearance now made everyone relax as they felt like the entire situation would be resolved. In the minds of these people, God’s word is akin to a god amongst humans alongside other members of the God sect.

His words were firm and brimming with confidence but it didn’t even prompt any reaction from Silver who ignored him and turned this gaze to God’s eye.

“You all fail to see the point I’m trying to make here. Incompetence, that’s all I see in this room... Right now I am even considering killing everyone here and taking back earth... Maybe then Alex would come back and I will have a more capable ally” Silver said calmly, making everyone grimace!

How dare he threaten the strongest figures in the world?

IMPUDENT!

“YOU FORCED MY HANDS BOY!” God’s word cried out as his eyes lit up.

“DIE!” God’s word proclaimed and his word erupted around the entire planet like a heavenly decree!

It was said that he could kill a man with just a single word and he was eager to put it into full display! He just needed Silver to give the wrong response so that he could act against him!

Everyone expected something to happen but after what seemed like five seconds, nothing happened. Seeing this, even God’s word instinctively staggered back in shock!

“Your deviant ability has always been impressive but it always had one fatal flaw which people failed to notice. It only works on the living!” Silver sneered disdainfully!
