247 Cherry Blossom!

A fierce explosion erupted as a figure shot into the air! In his white kimono, fluttering violently in the wind, Cherry was no different from a heroic being written off in books!

His body spun like the wind and the cherry blossom petals twirled as he moved, taking the shape of a hurricane, surging dangerously!

All the vines around the city were reduced to dust in an instant and the towering figure stood on a floating pink platform, made of cherry blossom petals.

“To think we all came out for something this insignificant... I’m going back to bed” Riviz complained and began walking away.

The others seemed to agree with him and they all left without hesitation, leaving Cherry alone in mid-air while the elders wondered if their ears heard well. Something capable of threatening the entire city is what these people called insignificant!

Were all humans this cocky and strong at the same time?

If yes, then Alex’s words concerning the human race becoming the main fighting force of the Danites is no small news. If they wished to save themselves the trouble of having to lose to a force they know too little about, they might as well start paying attention to the earth and make their spies there more active!

The ground rumbled as more brown roots shot out of the ground, racing towards the city without hesitation. The attacks came from all sides again, far larger than the last wave! Any normal person with normal special abilities would be terrified but for someone like Cherry who stood at the top of the B ratings for his unique deviant ability, this can be considered as nothing!

All his life, he has been told that his deviant ability lacks only one thing and that’s an immense destructive force. If there is one thing no one has been able to beat him in, be it Alex or other members of the culture it is a battle of quantity!

“You still dare act recklessly, knowing I’m here? Hehehehe! If I don’t teach you a lesson, you won’t truly know how high the heavens are!” Cherry was furious.

Not even Alex would fight him in a condition like this, talk less of a plant!

He calmly clasped his hands together as a terrifying force exploded from his body!

More pink cherry blossom petals surged into existence and poured out of the city walls like a tsunami, threatening to drown all the vines in one go!

His actions did not go unnoticed as everyone gasped in shock at this terrifying sight. If a mere baron-level human can be this strong then how strong would the Viscount-level members of the culture be?

Truly the fact that humans have to start from what can be considered the weakest form a being can be and fight their way up to this level was enough to showcase how much talent they have for combat!

You can’t expect people who were born with the power to compare to humans like Cherry who had to start fighting for their lives for decades just to survive! Having an army of human deviants like this would probably be the most frightening force in the universe.

It was now they realized why Alex had always emphasized on the Danite and human race alliance.

In his opinion, this is the worst thing that has happened in the history of existence and the universe will suffer because of it.

Everyone thought the human race is too weak and not worth the effort but when given enough time to grow, it became obvious that this so-called weak race can produce what experts of other races would refer to as monsters!

“Hmph! You couldn’t touch the city and decided to kill me first? Who would have thought things would turn out this way?” Alex sneered disdainfully as he noticed more vines racing towards him now.

Before he met almost no resistance since the plant king had tried to make him retreat by attacking the city. But seeing the city is not a place that can be conquered so easily and Alex was getting closer to its core, it had to turn its attention to the human!

The ground lit up with power as energy surges around the vines racing towards Alex now. It was obvious the plant king had no intentions of holding back! Beneath them were countless mutant beasts running towards the city, not to attack bit in a bid to escape the violent vines latching on to them and draining them!

It seemed like the plant king was feeding on them now to improve its power and deals with Alex.

“Even if you consume the entire mutant beasts of this world, you still won’t be able to deal with me” Alex said with a leisurely smile as his body was consumed by golden and red flames mixed together.

His skin tore apart at different locations as golden blood whips emerged from numerous parts of his body, each shrouded in golden bloody flames.

Swoosh!

The vines met the fiery golden whips and in a moment they were already overwhelmed. No matter how much power the vines pumped into their attacks, they were completely consumed and reduced to mere ashes. No matter what it tried, fire remained its weakness, and unfortunately for it, the opponent it was going against wasn’t using just one type of special fire but two!

Who would have expected such a terrifying opponent would come into existence!

The vines clashed with Alex’s blood whips and with each moment the vines clashed, the vines would be lit up in flames!

Aled stood in mid-air and remained unmoving as countless vines converged at his location, threatening to drown him in one powerful joint attack! Even the sky was completely covered by this attack!

It was like a massive shell of vines that emerged from the ground, covering all parts of retreat! Alex stood as the darkness loomed over him but he still remained calm as ever and right now he was even slightly amused!
