240 What makes me Alex Briggs

Alex stood within the flames and watched as his clothes were slowly getting burnt. He was stunned that his clothes could withstand the blue flames for a short amount of time without him interfering and this made him wonder what materials the Estos race uses to create their clothes.

Doesn’t that mean even as a youth of eight or so, if he should have had a complete set of clothes in his time on earth before the Danites arrived, he probably would have been invincible!

The thought of this made a strange smile creep on his face after which he clasped his hands and as he slowly opened his hand a fierce suction force erupted, pulling all the flames into the small space within his hand.

The sudden change was abrupt but his enemies noticed! As soon as most of the flames were gone and a clear figure could be seen within what was left of the fierce blue flames the alliance’s trio dived in without hesitation!

Seeing this Alex chuckled and quickly turned in Kyle’s direction!

“You can have this” Alex said as the suction force vanished and a powerful repulsive force erupted!

Following a powerful shockwave, fierce blue flames surged out of his hands and completely consumed the shaman race kid, leaving the other two stunned but it was already too late!

Behind Alex was a powerful suction force, pulling the two towards him so they couldn’t back away!

Since he wasn’t wearing a shirt, they were forced to watch his incredibly tough skin getting cut open by an invisible force and his golden blood shooting out like spears!

Without hesitation, the duo tried to dodge but the incredibly powerful invisible force held them down preventing them from moving!

Puff!

Just like that, the sky demon clan man was impaled but the Deity race lady remained unmoved! In fact, not even a scratch was left on her blue armor!

“Did you really think you could hurt me with that? Cocky!” She sneered disdainfully but Alex wasn’t moved one bit.

“If your armor couldn’t block this much I would have been really disappointed. So it didn’t come as a surprise” Alex replied with a gentle nod. He wasn’t disappointed by the outcome of this attack!

Bang!

A fierce force shattered the massive body of blue flames and Kyle charged forward!

Suddenly the deity race representative let out a furious scream as her fierce flames exploded around her violently and with such immense effort, she broke free from Alex’s invisible grip and charged forward!

These people were determined to put Alex down no matter the price they have to pay!

“Wait!” Alex said suddenly and the two stopped

They wanted to speak but the golden spear impaling the sky demon man retracted and flowed back into Alex’s body like liquid and just like that the injury on his back closed up.

The sky demon back staggered back while holding his wound. His immense blood control made it possible for him to prevent bleeding but that didn’t mean he wasn’t hurt.

His eyes were on Alex and just like everyone else he was completely confused.

Since they came to this planet Alex has given them one feeling they couldn’t get off their mind.

Unstable!

No one knew what he was thinking when he would lash out, why he was lashing out, when he would go crazy, and all that. His mood swings were so abrupt and strange many even suspected he had some mental issues. Nevertheless, his strength was real and it made every one of them wary of him.

“What?” The deity race lady said with a frown.

“Don’t tell me you changed your mind. I must tell you, it’s already too late for that!” Kyle growled furiously.

The sky demon man said nothing and just gazed at Alex. Amongst the three he is the only one who has gotten hurt so he wasn’t in a position to speak. In fact, he knew Alex could have easily chopped off his head when his body was pinned down but he didn’t.

In truth, Alex was simply playing with them!

“Do you know what makes me Alex Briggs?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

The question was unexpected and probably dumb so no one had an answer. They shot each other questioning glances before returning their gaze to Alex and shaking their heads.

They couldn’t answer the question!

“Since you don’t know, let me show you!” Alex’s golden eyes suddenly turned pitch black.

The golden armor around him shattered

BOOM!

It felt like a great mountain fell on their backs, slamming into them! They were dragged down by the strong Invisible force until they hit the ground creating three fairly large craters!

The trio struggled violently but none could break free. The wounded sky demon man was unusually pale for someone who normally has pale skin. His eyes seemed unfocused and his consciousness was about to fade! The force holding him down was just enough to keep him down and not harm him. The same as the rest.

The immense control over his power was far beyond what anyone would expect from humans!

“My deviant abilities are the real reason I am this strong. Your martial techniques mean nothing, nor those your intentions for me as well. I don’t know what your race thinks but I owe it nothing for my success!” Alex said coldly as he spoke to the sky demon man and the deity race woman.

His hand raised under everyone’s gaze and he gripped the empty space which left everyone confused.

What exactly was he trying to do now?

Boom!

Suddenly the trip paled instantly and for the first time, a strong sense of fear gripped them. Their eyes were pinned on the massive spaceship above struggling and slowly falling!

Its size completely covered the city and the closer it got the smaller the city looked compared to it!

NO! NO! NO!

The city wasn’t moving up, instead, the spaceship was falling down! Alex was dragging the massive spaceship responsible for carrying smaller combat spaceships!

This is completely unexpected!
