238 Truth behind the secret techniques

“I am not allowed to join the alliance anymore? Hahaha! The person capable of making such decisions is yet to be born” Alex snorted disdainfully as he stood like an immovable mountain, gazing at the fierce silver vortex without a shred of fear in his eyes.

He has already uncovered all the secrets of the Shaman race. Now he has finally understood everything necessary, he was quite sure this kid from the so called strongest race has lost the ability to take his life or the right to talk down on him!

His eyes were open and bright like a piercing light as he watched the enemy gather as much spirit power as he could. As explained before the reason why Kyle was able to overpower him the last time was simply because of the unlimited access to spirit energy which cannot be tapped by others, but that wasn’t the case anymore!

Brrrrrr!

Alex raised his hand in the direction of the enemy and a powerful suction force exploded from his hand, threatening to consume everything in his path! The spirit energy surging towards the kid was halted midway and quickly switched direction and raced towards Alex.

He stood with a bored look on his face as the spirit energy surged into his body. He hasn’t been taking advantage of such power in the past simply because he was unaware of its existence. Right now, Alex felt a bit anxious inwardly since he wasn’t sure about the effects of this power on him.

Unlike other forms of power which he can consume and refine, this one felt different. His matter absorption ability could only consume it but not refine it. His purpose in doing this is simply to prevent the enemy from taking advantage of this power and he was right!

“I will kill you!” Kyle growled furiously as he charged toward Alex.

Having his power source cut off was something he has never experienced all his life, so how dare a mere human, the race which has been at the bottom of the food chain act recklessly in his presence. Even the universe’s greatest foes, the Danites failed to win against them so how the hell is a human allowed to belittle him time and time again?

He kicked the air and charged towards Alex, closing the distance between them in a single breath! His eyes were vicious and filled with malicious intentions as he swung his claws abruptly, trying to strike Alex and split him into many smaller pieces.

In response, Alex took a step back, evading the claw attacks by a breath before slashing forward without hesitation!

Bang!

His fist rammed into the face of the silver wolf forcing it to stagger back! Red blood rolled down its nostrils as it cleaned it with its palm and looked at Alex with an astonished expression on its face.

Even when his hand was cut before he didn’t bleed. But now a simple pinch without any special ability was able to harm him in this way! The difference now was simply the application of the spirit energy to his attacks unlike before!

“Without your secrets and trump card, you are no more than a child to me... like is said earlier, you don’t have what it takes to take my life anymore! Right now, those two are more of a threat to me than you will ever be” Alex said disdainfully as he remained in his normal boxing position.

Hearing this, the kid wondered whether he was dreaming or not. He was sent here by the Alliance to subdue Alex and showcase the power of the ultimate race, yet not only is he taking a beating, he was getting belittled by the person he is meant to deal with!

How dare he compare the shaman race with the deity or sky demon race?

“YOU ARE GETTING AHEAD OF YOURSELF!” Kyle bellowed furiously as he dashed in again.

His claws kept shooting forward as an uncountable number of claw marks filled the air meanwhile Alex’s body moved so fast it was like he was in so many places at the same time. His eyes were wide open as he watched the attacks and dodged accordingly.

The second form of the Demon-kin secret technique: Perceive!

Any other person wouldn’t have noticed much about his actions but the sky demon representative noticed this and growled in fury!

“If you wish to disrespect everyone you meet then you must be willing to pay the price!” He growled furiously and dashed into the air!

While others may not know this was still the basics of their secret technique which most of their kids are born with! Using such insignificant techniques which kids in his world use to play in a life and death battle was the greatest insult he and the alliance have received so far!

There was no way he was going to let this slide!

His massive figure appeared behind Alex, and his hand reached for the sky, descending like a hammer!

Hmph!

Alex saw the attack and was about to move but for some reason felt stiff! No, it wasn’t stiff, it felt like he was bound by chains and unable to move!

“Blood control!” The sky demon race man growled furiously as his fist smashed at Alex’s head but only met an invisible barrier!

“NICE TRICK BUT A GOD DOES NOT NEED TO LIFT A FIND TO BEAT MORTALS LIKE YOURSELF!” Alex said in defiance as a powerful shockwave erupted from his body sending both enemies retreating!

He stood at the center of the two and even then he wore a completely calm expression on his face. He gazed at his palm as he moved it and confirmed he was no longer under the crippling effect of the enemy and smiled.

“That was some technique. In a battle between experts, even a second can decide the winner. If I wasn’t this amazing I would have been a victim now. When I take over the alliance will do well to master these techniques properly, you don’t have to worry” Alex said with a cruel smile.

His words hit something deep in the sky demon race man which was no different from a volcano erupting. He just wanted to rush in and tear Alex apart but he knew it wouldn’t work. His battle with Alex was far more difficult than expected but that doesn’t mean they can’t win.

“I will need everyone’s help! He knows the secrets of the shaman race and can defend against it but for how long? If we can control his movements and I can land a few decisive hits. I can shatter whatever form of defenses he has set up for my abilities before taking his soul should directly. We can win!” The kid said with a stern look on his face.

Upon hearing him, hope returned to the faces of the trio. Alex watched as the lady rose to the sky to join her comrades in this battle. It seemed they have all silently agreed to take Alex’s life since he is too much or a threat to be left alive!

Alex on the other hand didn’t seem to care. He was fairly calm for a man about to clash with the experts of the world. stood at the center of it all with a confident look on his face as he gripped the sky and pulled gently!

Bam!

The sky trembled as an incredible power surged from his body dangerously, spreading across the entire space in one go!

“The secret techniques dropped on earth have never been to help humans. You all left it there because you simply wanted to trap us. Humans who mastered the Demon-kin secret technique would be forced to join the sky demon race if they wish to progress even further. Meanwhile, humans who mastered the Golden statue secret technique would be forced to submit to the deity race if they wanted to progress. Isn’t that right?” Alex asked calmly with a strange smile on his face.

His eyes seemed to be unfocused as he wasn’t looking at anyone. He was just gazing at the massive spaceship above as if he was searching for something but his voice was full of contempt.

Without saying it out loud the alliance made an enemy out of the human race from the very beginning even before now. Their intention was never to help humans but to tie them down and enslave them.

Alex couldn’t help but feel disappointed in himself. He once believed that the alliance actually cared that was why they went through so much trouble just to get the secret techniques down to earth. He had initially believed that they did all of this because they wanted to make sure the human race doesn’t go through what they did.

He thought they didn’t want humans to go through the same nightmare but he was wrong.

There is no such thing as good and evil in this world. Such a concept is simply an illusion.

In this universe, power is everything.
