237 A real genius!

Alex’s question seemed to have triggered some sort of bad memories which made the massive silver werewolf frown. Its face was twisted as he pondered on Alex’s words. His mouth opened but he couldn’t speak a word or make a sound.

“It’s so obvious you don’t need to answer. Nature has its way of creating a balance which we always seek to destroy.” Alex said while shaking his head.

His body levitated off the ground and slowly rose high towards the sky with a straight look on his face. He didn’t seem as excited as he was before.

He had found out everything he wanted to know and now he is bored.

“The shaman race is really powerful but lacks numbers. In fact, even the Estos race known for their intelligence find it hard to reproduce. Considering how much of a threat they are when compared to the shaman race, it’s safe to say they are no different from kids. If the world put this many restrictions on kids then how much more can it put on an almighty race like the Shaman race?” Alex asked with a calm look on his face.

His eyes were not crazed or intense like before. It felt like he was genuinely asking the question running through his mind for a while now.

“THIS...” the silver werewolf frowned as he mumbled that word. He didn’t know how to respond to Alex’s question.

No, he knew! He just couldn’t bring himself to say it!

“Don’t be distracted, young master! Kill him now if he refuses to submit! We were given a task!” the lady from the deity race cried out.

The massive werewolf seemed to be lacking focus since Alex started talking so she had to do something about it. Upon hearing her words, the silver werewolf seemed to have snapped out of what seemed like a dream, and its gaze changed from uncertainty to fierce!

“Enough of your nonsense! Bend a knee now or die!” The silver wolf growled! It was ready to pounce at any point in time, all that was left was Alex’s answer.

The look in its eyes was enough to tell Alex that this kid was hoping he would refuse. He already knows too much so it would be best if he dies here!

“I said this before and I will say it again. You cannot win against me” Alex said coldly.

“I WILL TAKE THAT AS A NO!”

BOOM!

The silver wolf kicked the air and charged toward Alex, turning into a terrifying streak of golden light, rapidly closing the distance between him and Alex.

“DIE!” the silver wolf bellowed as its silver claws swung down like a whip!

“YOU JUST CAN’T!” Alex growled as his eyes let out a fierce white light and a powerful explosion erupted from his body!

To everyone’s surprise, the massive silver wolf could be seen flying back like a rocket, crashing into a building!

Boom!

Everyone that saw this was momentarily dazed as they wondered what just happened. Just a few moments ago, Alex was taking the beating of his life yet he is fighting back now just after exchanging a few blows with the kid!

It should be impossible!

It is one thing to understand a problem but being able to solve the problem is another thing altogether!

Spiritual problems are not easily dealt with!

“In the end, you still can’t win against me...” Alex said calmly as he raised he took a fighting stance.

His feet which were originally hovering suddenly stepped on the air and stabilized leaving everyone’s eyes wide open in shock! Alex wasn’t flying anymore, he was standing on the spiritual particles which the shamans are so proud of!

“You! How?” The silver wolf said as it emerged from the building. Its eyes were no longer as calm as before! Instead, his eyes carried hints of fear which may be hidden to orders but visible to Alex and other experts.

“How what? It’s just another form of power that was unknown to me until I saw you... Thanks to you, I got to know about spirit energy and controlling energy has always been my specialty from the very beginning” Alex said calmly.

“The Estos race also has the ability to generate and manipulate power in its raw form. While I can’t generate spirit energy, I can influence the free spirit energy around me but in little quantities, since I’m not yet too familiar with it” Alex answered honestly.

“Even that little is more than enough for you to harm me. Adding a little spirit energy to your attacks makes it impossible for me to ignore. It renders the shaman race advantage useless against you” The silver wolf completed Alex’s words with a dire look on his face.

What was meant to be them showcasing their powers to help and suppress the Estos race has turned into an interactive training session which has given Alex the ability to battle the strongest race in the universe.

This is the true nature of a real genius!

“That’s why I said you can’t kill me... Don’t bother resisting anymore” Alex said with a calm look on his face.

Surprisingly even the silver wolf was calm. He laughed at his words and wore a smile on his face as he gazed at Alex in silence. It felt as if he was searching for the right words to use.

“You know, I wanted you to join the alliance before. I even requested that you join and be given a chance to become one of the twelve pillars. I have always believed you are the most capable person we can find outside the shaman race but It turns out that I was right. You are really capable but just too capable for your good. I am sorry but you are not allowed to join the alliance anymore. This time I will be swinging to kill. I hope you hold no ill intentions towards me for this” the silver wolf said with a relatively calm look.

His eyes and body let out a fierce glow as power began surging towards him violently! He seemed like a massive vortex.
