214 Chapter 214: Real situation of things!

Alex met with the other students again and he had a frown on his face. His eyes looked unfocused as he perceived the change in the attitude of these people. Everyone was unusually polite which he found very cringy and this made him miss the old toxic environment that felt like him versus the class.

“It can’t be helped especially since I am so damn amazing” Alex mumbled.

In the back of his mind, he knew this would happen. Even if his identity as Alex Briggs was not revealed they would still treat him this way, especially after his performance.

“You are really Alex Briggs? The human who fought against his world and ...”

“And was betrayed by the woman he loved and the people he called family. He was stabbed in the heart and even then he struggled and fought fiercely before getting his waist severed from his body but even that wasn’t enough, they wanted to obliterate him entirely but he was saved by the young man Jaric Gale who gave up his life in hopes of creating a better future... Your race reacts differently to the blue death, that’s why when he returned he was sick and quarantined. Before his death, he offered his body to me and hoped I will revive it to what I once was. That’s why I am here” Alex said with a cold face but even then his words moved the hearts of many and Jalic Gale gazed at him with gratitude in his eyes. How Alex was able to come up with such a story, replacing his deeds with his son was outstanding.

In reality, his son got fed up with his weak body and lack of talent so he exposed himself to the blue death on purpose with the hopes of ending his life. Alex’s story changed the entire narrative and made a hero out of his stupid son, just as he wished.

Alex’s words as expected moved the hearts of many and Jaric Gale who was once called a fool was now called a hero. He was immortalized in the minds of many and a statue of him was proposed to be built in his honor. In their opinion, the youth may have lacked talent but he had the heart of a warrior and made the ultimate sacrifice for the good of their race!

He will never be forgotten!

Before leaving Alex bid the other students farewell and claimed he would not be partaking in the classes after today but he will continue to visit from time to time and join them on missions. Hearing the last part the entire class was delighted and he quickly left with the elders and quickly headed over to the Order!

The order is a tower dedicated to the twelve elders of the Estos race. They gathered there for meetings and other businesses which had to do with the survival of their people. Upon arrival, Alex was handed a file containing everything he needs. To his surprise, these people were quite cooperative and nice.

It’s not something you usually see when meeting a foreign race for the first time.

Going through all of it, he realized why these people are so welcoming and why the people were so happy seeing him. It may not look like it but this city won’t last much longer!

The Estos race has a problem reproducing, especially since they have a pretty long lifespan! The elders and those of their ages are the surviving generations and their cultivation level is low due to their age.

After the Danites invaded and destroyed almost everything, the blue death led to the death of many but the few were able to awaken the energy revolver abilities. These few were the twelve elders who fought and reclaimed a small piece of land which is the city they have today. Fortunately, there was a power core just like other power cores scattered across this world. They were able to create a dome around their city preventing the mutant beasts from raiding.

During the few centuries of peace, they were able to help more of their people awaken the Energy revolver ability but these people were old so they couldn’t go far! The students in this academy are the next set of energy revolvers, they are the hope of their race but the power core used to run the city and maintain the barrier is running out of energy and will soon die out. It is only a matter of time before that happens and these people weren’t sure if the new generation will be strong enough to protect all they have built by that time. That is why they need to expand and find another power source.

Seeing all of this Alex didn’t show any facial reaction which gave them hope. As long as Alex determines he is able to help them, there is hope for a better future!

“Have you all considered using the blue meteors as a power source? That is what we did on earth” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

“We have one tightly sealed, that is what Jaric Gale exposed himself to. It is really poisonous to my kind so using it is off the table” an elder said.

“I know that, but I didn’t mean using it on the city, I meant using it on me...” Alex said as he closed the file and stood up.

Whatever that blue meteor is made of, it can rewrite a person’s genes, granting them powers beyond our wildest dreams. The Estos got the energy revolver ability due to this but prolonged exposure is poisonous for you, not for me... Take me to that power core and have me locked in there for a year... after that, we start taking over” Alex said casually which left them stunned.

“But you are in the body of Jaric Gale. Even with the gene linkage and recombination, your cells are not that of a normal human anymore. Your body will be poisoned by it. It’s only a matter of time before you die” Tane said with a frown on his face.

He clearly didn’t want an assert to just die for no reason!

Alex’s body shot forward like an arrow, towards the elder! Tane frowned and jumped back but his body was suddenly gripped by an invisible force!

“Come!” Alex said in a cold tone as his eyes were pitch black!

Using the gravity manipulation ability, Alex was like a black hole, pulling in the man! Elder Tane frowned at this and quickly lit up with surging energy revolver powers but to his greatest surprise, all the energy he gathered began surging towards Alex. He was like a black hole, pulling in the energy of the elder!

Seeing this the other elders instinctively summoned their power but just like Tane, it was getting siphoned by Alex. They gazed at him in disbelief and fear!

“I have two deviant powers, matter absorption, and gravity manipulation... Thanks to the first ability I can absorb all forms of energy and convert them, using them to improve my abilities and martial techniques. Did you think I grew so strong in a short amount of time because I was talented? No no no, even talent cant give you that much” Alex said calmly as he looked down at the elders on their knees.

While he didn’t say it out loud, they also got the hidden message behind his actions. He is the hope of their race and as such, they will listen to what he has to say. If not, he can leave and none of them will be able to stop him.

He stopped absorbing their powers and sat down again, picking up the second file. This one contained information about the galactic alliance meant to fight against the Danites is no more than a joke. While all those races were terribly weakened by the invasion of the Danites, it didn’t stop them from having an internal conflict.

Plans of pushing the Danites back are not going as planned, not because they are lacking enough manpower or tactics but due to greed.

“The weakness of every living being... Emotions like love or greed. Use these two as a weapon and you will be able to cause chaos even in the most harmonious places” Alex said with a frown.

Over the centuries the Danites have completely annihilated some races and have even gone as far as to settle down on their planets. There are countless resources in their hands and this made them a formidable force.

By joining forces, the universe finally has the chance to push back but they can because of minor issues like who is in charge and how will the gains be shared. The opportunity to gain something more than freedom from this has blinded these people and made everything chaotic!

As Alex read through his, his face got colder by the moment and soon a frown appeared on his face as he read the last page. Right now the Alliance is subduing weaker races lacking manpower.

The Estos race is on their radar!
