208 Chapter 208: Watched!

Alex ran down the walls with his jacket fluttering while the black gloves on his hands glowed madly. His eyes revealed hints of excitement as he gazed at the beasts ahead and ascertained their level!

[Pugatory hounds; Baron rank]

Seeing as how Alex frowned. The beasts of this world are a lot more organized than that of earth. With a glance, he could tell these are just the foot soldiers to be slaughtered which will give the Energy revolvers confidence to lurk deeper into the darkness before getting caught in a proper ambush.

He couldn’t tell how smart Viscount level beasts or other beasts above that rank are but just judging from what he has seen, he knew why Jalic Gale needed him so badly!

While people of the Estos race believed they can come back from the dark ages and rebuild, the elders have seen a threat far beyond what normal warriors can handle. They need someone with experience and fierce fight talent like him.

He even suspects the elders have already found out his identity but remain silent for the sake of their race!

“How cute!” Alex revealed a cruel smile as he stomped his feet on the wall and shot forward like a rocket.

His body shot past the barrier and towards the horde below which quickly jumped in a bid to reach him and tear him apart even before he hits the ground!

“Is he crazy?” the instructor couldn’t help but gasp in shock.

Every student drew cold breaths as they watched one man fly towards a horde with a cruel smile on his face!

The basic revolver gloves could enhance Alex’s power by leaps and bounds, these Viscount level Energy revolver gloves, sent his power off the roof!

It felt like a meteorite fell into a crowded area, leaving behind a massive crater with Alex standing at the center. The shockwave cleared the mist around him, revealing numerous beasts standing at the edge of the crater gazing at Alex fearfully.

The blood of those killed joined together to form a small pool, meanwhile, Alex remained unmoving. Gazing at him from afar all the guys were stunned and all the females felt their hearts flutter. Even the instructor couldn’t help but blush. Alex looked like one of those ancient heroes in history and his black jeans and jackets helped create a long lasting image in their minds.

“Come at me” Alex said to the beasts with a frown but none moved.

Right now he was standing in the small pool of blood, yet no beast dared to approach. Alex chuckled bitterly as he confirmed once again that these beasts are smart!

“If you won’t come, then I will!” Alex growled as his body shot out of the hole and into the air where two beasts were already waiting for him!

His fists shot forward like a rocket, obliterating the skulls of both beasts and he landed at the edge of the crater with a cruel smile on his face.

Roar!

A beast jumped forward which Alex sidestepped to evade but then he felt the threat of death looming over him which made him frown.

His vision was far wider than what a normal person can handle so anything attempting to kill him now must be attacking from his blind spot!

Peng!

Alex punched at the attack and was sent sliding back a bit while what looked like an octopus tentacle retreated into the mist. He frowned at this but didn’t retreat.

Even though he didn’t put much power into the punch, the fact it clashed with the attack and sent him flying back meant that whoever is hiding within the mist is far beyond the Baron rank.

He could feel someone calling his name, prompting him to turn and look above the hundred meters tall wall. He could barely see them due to the distance but the instructor was waving her hand at him with a terrified look on her face. She seemed to be afraid of something!

Seeing Jaric Gale turn his back on so many enemies those at the wall were stunned! Not only was he surrounded by Baron level Purgatory hounds but there is a Viscount level Black death hidden within the mist!

Who the hell is this guy?

The instructor wanted to jump down and save Alex but she heard a voice on her earpiece ordering her not to move. It seems the higher ups were interested in seeing what Jaric Gale is capable of.

This also meant they were being watched!

Was this entire mission assigned to them all just to get to see what Jaric Gale is capable of?

Numerous purgatory hounds launched themselves forward when seeing the enemy was focused on those above the wall. A good number threw themselves at him but just at the last moment, it seemed like time slowed down!

Alex turned around was waved his hand like a blade and the next moment the first set in front was cut in two while he punched with his free hand, creating a shockwave that sent the second wave flying back!

Being able to regulate his power and not go beyond his limit prevented the recoil damage of the Demon-kin secret technique. Even then it was quite exhausting using this repeatedly in this weak body. Especially when there is a more powerful enemy hidden in the mist.

Alex shook his head as he pondered on what to do. These beasts are only here to wear him out and when that’s over, the leader of this small army will emerge.

“They won’t let me through... their attacks are aimed at minimizing losses while maximizing my energy expenditure. If I had my real body and this level of power I wouldn’t have this issue but this body is just too weak and progress with my statue secret technique is not too good.” Alex said with a frown.

He had this feeling that what he is seeing right now is just a small part of the army of mutant beasts hidden away.
