206 Chapter 206: Seed

Jaric Gale walked out of the class with the rest following behind him. Even the instructor didn’t dare go past him as they all walked towards the Seed training arena not too far from the class.

Alex wasn’t in a good mood since he found out about his current Limitations and needed to find a way around them. He walked into the large arena, where each student’s guardian could be seen beside the seed purchased for their child.

This is an important ceremony so it wasn’t shocking to see parents there, proudly waiting for their kids to perform Neural integration with their seed.

From above, Alex spotted Jalic Gale and the two ladies by his side, all of them gazed at him carefully and with a hint of fear in their eyes. The small pause caused by him forced the other students and the instructor behind him to pause too. Alex was blocking the entrance so no one dared move forward.

It felt like he was taking the entire class hostage.

He sighed loudly as he began walking down the stairs, towards the field with a frown on his face. His outfit caught the attention of everyone present and they soon recognized him as Jaric Gale, son of the twelfth elder Jalic Gale, who just battled and defeated an Onyx fairly easily, even after becoming a Baron just for a month.

He was quite famous now but none of that mattered to him.

“The seed is built to your taste, design, and fighting style. After monitoring you for a while and understanding your fighting style, I began construction for your seed. I’m sure you would like it” Jalic Gale said hastily as soon as Alex got close enough to him.

Alex didn’t bother replying. His eye was on the fairly big seed which was the size of a two-story building. Its body was painted black with what looked like golden gloves on its arm. It didn’t have too many designs or weapons loaded on it so it wasn’t as bulky as other seeds and it looked fairly simple.

Alex shot a glance around and noticed almost all seeds had various weapons attached to them but his own had none.

“Not bad” Alex said casually as walked behind the seed, to see the cockpit open and he jumped inside without hesitation.

Entering the cockpit, the exit closed and Alex found himself in what seemed like an empty space. There was no chair, ground, controller, or monitor! It was completely empty, contrary to what he believed. It was a dark space within numerous twinkling stars that felt like floating in space.

He didn’t know how the Estos race was capable of achieving this but it felt peaceful. His body glowed as his energy revolver power lit up!

Aaah!

Alex muttered in pain as he felt something invade his mind. It felt like he got pierced by a needle and for a brief moment, his life flashed across his eyes. He struggled fiercely but he couldn’t break from it. It was like his mind has become an open book that went through his entire memories. At the same time, he too began learning more about the seed.

“This is no machine! It’s alive!” Alex muttered in shock as he stopped struggling and let everything happen.

It felt like a dream where he is made to relive his entire life but from a third person’s perspective. And even though it seemed like something that can take years, all of this happened in seconds.

Alex slowly opened his eyes. He finally understood why the Estos race put so much importance into this. Reliving his life made him realize how much he has been wronged and how much he wronged people.

Back on earth, there were people worthy of his mercy and attention, yet he ignored them and focused on his training. His eyes remained cold as he thought of a name while visualizing the destruction of the entire human race with only a few to restart it.

“Damnation” Alex muttered coldly within the darkness of the cockpit.

The Black seed suddenly lit up with golden eyes. Every other seed was released and immense pressure was activated but that of Alex had no special aura. Nothing, his energy revolver power is not yet high enough to create such an impact upon activation.

While many people were not surprised by this, most students were also happy. For two days straight they have been terrified of Jaric Gale but now they are sure that he is inferior as an energy revolver, they have no reason to be polite!

Their seeds all turned towards that of Alex with malicious intentions very visible. Only when Jalic Gale stood in front of Alex’s seed did they look away.

“You have made quite a lot of enemies in just two days” Jalic Gale said with a bitter smile.

Alex who stood within the dark space felt like he was seeing through the eyes of his seed. He smiled at the comment and muttered to himself.

“That’s what I do best...”

They all returned to Alex’s home where he had an underground chamber where his seed is kept. Even after leaving the seed, he could still feel the link in his head and he was sure he could call on it anytime he wants.

Everyone waited for Alex to come and rage about his low energy output and a means of fixing it but when Alex arrived he showed no intentions of complaining.

In fact, he seemed to be in a good mood. Which is quite rare. Maybe as rare as a Phoenix egg since they have never seen him smile genuinely before.

He sat on the same three seater sofa with Jalic Gale and smiled sheepishly.

“What are you so happy about? Your energy output is low and we need to work on that” Jalic Gale said with a frown.

“Sure. It’s just that, finding out I can use my secret techniques while using the seed is enough reason for me to be happy” Alex answered.
