169 Chapter 169: First appearance since the event.

Whoosh!

Alex and Danny appeared above the clouds at a familiar place which should be Virginia, where they fought the flower mutant. Their eyes seemed cold as they shot a glance everywhere but they couldn’t see the massive flower mutant anywhere.

It wasn’t too surprising that the flower Mutant has been moved, instead, they would have found it strange if it was here but the question now is where is it?

“Do we return? Even if we get the flower Mutant, how do you plan to take it? Or where do you plan to hide it?” Alex couldn’t help but remember the enormous size of the flower mutant.

It could be considered the most terrifying scene of his life.

“The only people capable of working on experiments at my level are the Ainsworths... that’s where it will be” Danny said.

“As for the extraction process... leave it to me. As long as I don’t need to use my mirror ability, I should be strong enough to take it with us.” Danny added.

“You have a warehouse that cannot be traced? Where do you plan to keep it?” Alex asked with a frown as he watched Danny pull out a silver jar, just like Silver did back then and Silver insects shot out of it, shooting into the air.

“Do you think I would try to take part in something this dangerous without making necessary preparations?” Danny asked as he activated the insect cameras.

The nameless Channel which has been inactive since its first broadcast which showcased the fall of the nameless family suddenly began broadcasting again, leaving people stunned. The news spread like wildfire as countless people tuned in, in hopes of seeing Alex and Silver but what they saw was confusing.

Danny Ainsworth stood above the clouds without his mask and beside him was a man in black jeans, barefooted and fluttering long black hair. His golden eyes were extremely attractive and his body looked like a perfect piece of art that only the gods should possess.

Suddenly a cat jumped on his head giving the world a shock. Even if they couldn’t recognize, Alex, they should be able to recognize the cat on his head. It was the hellfire cat! Alex’s exclusive pet.

“Alex, say hello to the people... it’s been a month and I’m sure they missed you” Danny laughed but Alex’s face remained emotionless.

“We don’t have time for this. We are here to take what’s ours, I would like to see who can stop me” Alex said coldly as he shot forward like a missile, heading towards the direction of Washington with Danny following him tightly.

Alex Briggs is really working with that terrorist now?

Numerous comments filled the comment section and back in the white house, everyone wore a stern look on their face. The president remained seated with the Walker family leader. Since he was the only one with zero fighting talent, he wasn’t on guard duty like the other big four leaders.

“There are here for the flower mutant!” the Walker family head said with a cold look on his face.

“Do you think they can get it?” The president seemed a bit anxious. The more he gazed into Alex’s golden eyes, the more he felt unsure of the outcome.

“We know how fortified the Voltz organization is now right? There is no way they can win!” The Walker family head said confidently.

The president pick up the phone beside him and made a call. He ordered no military official to move alone. No one is allowed to prevent Alex and The Tyrant gang leader from entering Washington but once they do, the whole place should be locked down!

The speed at which the two flew, in less than 30mins they were already standing above the capital, and strangely they were yet to meet any opposition. The Voltz organization was just ahead of them. In fact, they could practically see the skyscraper ahead of them.

Civilians below were evacuating the area, it was obvious they were preparing for a huge fight.

“Do you feel like they can lock down the space and block out your teleportation abilities?” Alex asked with a frown. He felt something is awfully wrong.

“Old man Bruce is smart but not that smart. If we were going against Silver that would have been a possibility but Bruce Ainsworth is not on his level so we have nothing to worry about” Danny said with a laugh.

He saw no reason for Alex to be anxious. The best the country can do now is to send out people to meet them. The world is watching so they can’t afford to do something stupid. The same goes for them. They just resurfaced and this is the time to show their strength. If they run now, it’s all over for their reputation.

Boom!

Suddenly, from the volt skyscraper, a powerful beam of blue power shot towards the duo! Danny was about to make a move but Alex appeared in front of him with an uninterested look on his face.

He raised his hand casually as the beam struck his open palm and a powerful shockwave erupted around him but he didn’t even move back. His eyes revealed a fierce blue light as the energy surged into his body and blue markings appeared all over his body.

Whoosh!

After a few seconds, the beam slowly faded out of existence but Alex stood there gallantly. His palm was completely fine and the blue energy seemed to slowly merge with his body, making it fairer than before.

“This power, you can have it back!” Alex said coldly as all the blue power escaped his body, forming a massive blue orb of power before shooting towards the Voltz organization skyscraper!
