148 Chapter 148: Plant type mutants!

Alex stood on the ground soaked with blood and bodies. His body was as blood-red as ever, include my his aura but even then he frowned.

His body levitated off the ground as he waved his hand and the crystal Boulder rose to his level as well. Many may believe the fight is over but Alex had no intentions of leaving this place until all his enemies are dead.

His cold gaze was pinned on the building surrounded by vines and with his better eyesight now in this mode he could tell it wasn’t just this building, many other buildings behind it were the same.

Finding the main body of this plant-type mutant beast will be difficult!

“This form infuses a person’s blood with his aura... why it may sound weird it creates the ultimate fighting machine” Alex said as he stretched toward the bloody ground and the blood leaking from the corpses rose like a whirlpool, shooting into Alex’s body.

Once again he felt rejuvenated and alive.

With such an ability, in a large scale war, a Briggs who has reached the third stage can fight indefinitely while surviving on the blood of those he kills. The fight ends only when everyone is dead and he is still in peak condition. These are the kind of things that makes the Brigg family terrifying.

“This will be difficult” Alex said with a frown.

While he may have a large blood bank now from the three tiger threat beasts, he is fighting against a monster with no blood. With the quantity of the vibes, he may even end up running out of blood before finding the target!

.....

Such a fight won’t end well for him if prolonged.

“Even with this strength, I’m not able to win against a plant type mutant beast? Then how am I supposed to deal with the bug types?” Alex said with a frown.

In the ranking of most disturbing beasts to face, mere animals mutated by the accident are the least of a person’s worries. They are predictable and much more direct and easier to deal with.

Plant and bug types however are the most terrifying enemies man has come across.

Alex steeled his resolve and pushed forward. He wouldn’t know if he can win if he doesn’t try. By the way, with this level of strength, he can easily get away if things go sideways.

Xiu!

Seeing the human finally approaching confidently the vines couldn’t remain silent anymore. They all loosened their grips on the buildings and shot forward.

It was like a rain of vines, falling upon Alex but he didn’t seem worried. His fingernails moved like a puppeteer giving orders to his puppet and the blood strings formed at a terrifying speed, forming a massive blood net again!

“Go!” Alex muttered lightly as he pushed gently and the net shot forward like a bullet reducing all the vines ahead of him to dust!

“This where everything gets tricky” Alex muttered as some blood raced towards the floating crystal orb, forming a sphere around it!

Boom!

Alex transformed into a blood red light as his body shot forward like a missile while the blood sphere followed him tightly.

Xiu!

Alex maneuvered through the new vines racing towards him, going deeper into the vegetated area!

Swoosh!

Swoosh!

Best

Numerous vines shot out from the ground below while more raced firm the other sides, trying to trap Alex, forcing him to fly towards the sky with a disturbed look on his face!

“Fall!” Alex bellowed as he raised his fingers flicked and a blood net was spawned below him with a light kick, it shot down like a bullet, shredding all the vines heading his way!

Boom!

Alex resumed his journey with a slight frown on his face. He wasn’t calculating but he was sure he had traveled quite a distance but when then he is still seeing a city covered in vegetation and vines.

“Doesn’t that mean this plant beast covers more than seventy percent of Virginia as its territory?” Alex said coldly.

Plant mutants have only one disadvantage. They can’t move! They can’t just stand and walk forward. Instead, they spread slowly like actual plants. They keep growing while leaving their seeds at new spots ahead, growing even more.

Humans in Virginia do not control up to five percent of the territory in this state, the mutant beasts control slightly over twenty-five and the plants have the rest.

“Humans are really losing this war... we are practically going against three different forces! Animals plants and insects and now the Danite is bringing Aliens into the equation... if we somehow find a way to live through all of this, nothing else will be able to kill us” Alex swore angrily.

His body leaned back as his eyes revealed anger. He watched as massive vines latched on to each other forming what seemed like a massive single vine! This leads him to wonder;

“I swear on my life this doesn’t even make any sense! How the hell is this allowed?” Alex yelled as he spawned another blood net and fired it at the enemy but this time it struck and couldn’t go deeper, leaving behind only marks on the massive vine!

“This is not something I can win against... at least not yet” Alex concluded as he didn’t hesitate to turn and flee.

With the ability to fly he just needed to rise above the clouds and leave. He didn’t have to worry about the plants chasing after him or following him back to the camp since they can’t move far!

His body shot into the military base like a bullet, landing roughly and creating a small crater beneath his feet. His demon-kin blood body mode had vanished. He didn’t want soldiers seeing him shoot at him, thinking he is a monster.

That didn’t stop the soldiers from feeling stunned. Alex left with only his underwear and came back after a long while with corpses and beast cores with a massive purple gem floating behind him, making many wonder.

When the hell did Alex become a deviant?
