143 Chapter 143: A powerful enemy

The massive head of the purgatory snake arched up, sending Alex flying towards the sky! The powerful shockwave from the move alone made the helicopter retreat to a safer distance! The fight was getting out of control!

Alex let out a furious cry as his body reddened even more as he accumulated his twentieth breath! His body spun as he kicked towards the skies and shot towards the purgatory snake!

The snake gazed at Alex in disdain as it shot forward furiously, racing towards the enemy with all the hatred it could muster!

All the power and aura began surging towards Alex’s right hand, he planned on releasing the power of all twenty breaths in one go!

The space shook violently as his right hand was completely covered in pure power, swinging down towards the enemy like a divine and from the heavens!

Like a meteor! Alex smashed into the skull of the purgatory snake and send it crashing to the ground.

The shockwave alone sent him flying back and if not for the sublime use of this gravity ability he would have had a rough fall but Alex landed on his feet smoothly.

His eyes were cold but his right hand kept shivering from time to time. Bloody tears through which blood sipped out could be seen all over his right hand

Alex fell on one knee and spat out a mouthful of blood. If not for his blood-red skin, he would have looked terribly pale!

“I guess releasing all twenty breaths worth of power was not a good idea, but it’s not like I had any other choice” Alex muttered weakly while gazing into the distance.

His eyes remained pinned on the cloud of dust ahead. He was yet to know the status of the purgatory snake so he dared not let his guard down.

His breathing was stable as he calmly accumulated the power of the breaths.

Following the heart beating sound was the emergence of the purgatory snake, gazing at Alex fiercely. The top of its head had caved in, also proving that its skull was disfigured by the punch yet the beast was still standing!

“The vitality of the tiger threat level mutant beasts is not something anyone can overlook” Alex said with a bitter smile

His body felt heavy and tired, using twenty breaths all at once dealt major damage to Alex but even then he dared not retreat!

“This is an opportunity I can’t miss...” Alex mumbled as he strode towards the mighty snake fearlessly.

If it were any other place he wouldn’t mind infusing the gravity powers to his attacks but he dared not do it when the world was watching. He was scared he would be found out by someone.

The purgatory snake charged forward again and Alex bust into a spring, racing towards it fearlessly!

The mighty skull of the purgatory snake smashed forward, attempting to eliminate all in its path! It planned on taking Alex head on again but Alex didn’t have such thoughts in mind!

His legs bent slightly before he shot into the air, shooting above the snake whose head was heading toward the ground!

Alex landed on the body of the serpent as its head smashed into the ground! A mild shockwave erupted but at Alex’s current level that won’t be enough to throw him off his balance!

Alex charged forward fearlessly as he raced towards the enemy’s skull with ruthless intentions at heart.

The purgatory snake curled to see Alex running on its body and it bit forward without hesitation!

Blood erupted from the bite holes on its body but Alex was nowhere to be found!

An explosion erupted above as Alex’s aura had completely turned red while his body gave off a hazy feeling. His eyes narrowed as he kicked the air, shooting towards the skull of the purgatory snake fearlessly.

Alex smashed into the already caved in the skull of the purgatory snake and busted a hole in it!

The snake let out a painful cry as its body wiggled and shook violently for minutes before it finally hit the ground and stopped moving. Its glowing eyes were deemed already and the once mighty snake was dead.

“To have achieved the demon blood form, he must reach the third and final stage of your martial technique... How is this possible?” The president was truly shocked. He was quite familiar with the power of the Briggs and its stages.

Seeing Alex take a step into the third stage was confusing! Even Wilder Briggs had no means of answering such a question.

“Damian has accumulated over seventy breaths yet has not nurtured the technique enough to enter the third stage...” Wilder said thoughtfully.

He considered Alex and Silver as potential enemies, so watching them progress is no different from a sting to the heart!

“I don’t know” Wilder confessed with a conflicted look on his face.

He had always known Alex was extremely talented! Like far above his level and that of Damian but what he just saw now is something far beyond something his mind can process.

“Chill, he hasn’t awakened the power yet... it’s just that in this extreme situation his body was pushed beyond its limits.... It’s a one-time something.” The hall family head said with a yawn.

His eyes were glued on Alex’s figure, climbing out of the opening on the serpent’s head with a massive beast core the size of a person in his hands!

“This kid will go places... You two made a very powerful enemy” The Hall family leader said with a satisfied smile as he stood up and walked out without hesitation. He was done watching so he had no reason to stay back anymore.
