128 Chapter 128: Project Enhancer

Alex was like an unstoppable spear, destroying everything in his path. His body flashed numerous times as he dashed through the enemy lines, wiping them out violently.

In less than thirty minutes after joining the war, he had already gotten more than thirty headcounts alone! Even tanks could not stand in his way and right now he simply bulldozed his way through everything, even the enemy fled at the sight of him!

“The Briggs are really scary” A soldier muttered as he watched Alex fight.

They had seen videos of members of the Briggs on the battlefield and it resembled what they were seeing today. This was just one of many battlefields in Virginia, yet Alex has already dominated it.

The enemy forces focused all their power on him yet they couldn’t harm him! The immense strength he was showcasing here was just too terrifying!

Retreat!

The order was given and Alex frowned. He had no plans of letting the enemy flee! On a battlefield in which the strongest officers present are only C-rated, he is no different from a god so why waste this opportunity?

Alex knew that the next battle will not go as smoothly as this, since countermeasures for him will be placed so he didn’t intend to retreat!

“And who said you are allowed to leave?” Alex bellowed as his body shot forward! His eyes darkened even more as the remaining forces trying to flee felt immense pressure on them, preventing them from fleeing properly. Their movements were sluggish now, giving the Us forces a chance to chase them down and kill every one of them.

At the end of the day, bodies were been piled while weapons were being recovered. It was a major win on this part of the battlefield and the Nameless squad and already made their debut!

Just their leader alone singlehandedly changed the tide of battle. While people celebrated and cheered on the battlefield, Alex remained silent with Silver by his side. He wore a stern look on his face while they spoke.

“How fast can you prepare the z series battle suit... without it, I can’t let the others join their war... I need to be sure they have sufficient protection before fighting... I can’t afford to lose members at this early stage of my plan” Alex said coldly.

“It’s not as easy as you think... The Z series battle armors have been used exclusively by the members of the Ainsworth family... I can’t get them unless I plan to build from scratch... the best I can do right now is find a lower series with sufficient defensive capabilities... it should do for now” Silver shrugged his shoulders while he spoke.

Alex frowned. Right now his involvement in this battle came as a surprise and because of that the enemy lost easily but he could swear on his life that the next battle will be a field with more capable officers and even more high-tech weapons. He won’t be as domineering as before.

In this battle, if he didn’t have numerous defensive abilities, Alex couldn’t count how many times he would have died just by getting shot in the back. If the nameless squad does not have sufficient defensive pieces of equipment to cover their blind spots and protect them from anything, Alex was not willing to let them join the battlefield.

“Blitz, an enhancer type that focuses on speed... a speedster... Quite useful and Queen.... Wow! She’s literally an upgraded version of the B-rated guardian, Angel!” Silver tried to change the topic as he gazed at the image of Queen flapping her wing made of blades!

With Blaze and Kung Jun, Silver had to admit their fighting power would be terrifying but they lacked a support type that could cover for them in battle.

“I didn’t find anyone suitable for that role....” Alex could tell what Silver was thinking from his questioning gaze so he didn’t hesitate to answer.

“You are really taking this trust thing seriously” Silver commented. He knew what Alex meant was that he couldn’t find anyone trustworthy.

He seemed amused by this though, Alex right now is far different from who he used to be. He seemed more stable now unlike before.

The ability to differentiate between friends and foes is too underrated. Alex knew who to protect, and looked kind yet he didn’t hesitate to kill when necessary. This is the closest he can be to perfection!

Alex frowned as he noticed something heading towards the battlefield. It looked like a missile but Alex knew it wasn’t. Soldiers soon noticed a few seconds after he did and scrambled away. They all retreated and raised their weapons in anticipation of what will happen.

Meanwhile, Alex noticed the look on their faces. It was one of horror and fear, leaving him confused.

What looked like a massive metal sphere struck the ground, sticking to it. It opened up a bit releasing a large body of white gas.

“It is the latest project of the tyrant gang. The reason why we are losing this war, project enhancer!” Silver explained with a cold look on his face.

“A robot?” Alex said with a raised eyebrow.

Thud!

Alex watched as a massive 6.5ft tall figure emerged from the smoke.it wore a long detective leather coat, covering everything apart from its face. The face of the machine looked human and its eyes had fierce purple light. If they could cover it up with some flesh, Alex would easily mistake this terminator for a human!

“We need to leave here now!” Silver said coldly but Alex shook his head in refusal before walking forward.

He came here to earn an absolute victory! It won’t be absolute if they get chased away from a territory they just acquired!

By the way, he also wanted to see how powerful the enemy is. He was curious to know how strong project Enhancer is!

“Retreat everyone... I will deal with this” Alex said and the soldiers looked at their commanders before making a move.

Only after they were given approval did they fall back while Alex walked forward. Soon a massive space was left for Alex and the project enhancer robot to face off.
