81 Chapter 81: Taking a life!

“I guess it’s my turn!” Alex said calmly and sprang to his feet. He shot Silver a glance but it seemed Silver was too hurt to stun or speak! He kept spitting out blood and shivering.

While the wound wasn’t much he could barely endure it. Silver has never been the type to get involved in battles so he wasn’t used to the pain, unlike Alex.

“You can still stand? As expected of a member of the Briggs!” The unstoppable spear said with a smug on his face.

He was proud to fight members o the big four and he even felt more excited beating them! He knew after this his reputation will soar even high!

“Cut the crap!” Alex roared as he lunged forward.

He swiftly equipped his twin demon bat daggers and swung at the enemy ruthlessly! Without hesitation, the unstoppable charge forward, throwing his fist at Alex!

Peng!

The moment they both collided, a deep gash, appeared on this fist of the enemy, forcing him to stumble backward. While the unstoppable spear seemed too stunned by the outcome Alex still looked as cold as ice!

Alex advanced viciously, swinging his dagger at the enemy who could barely defend against anything, leaving even more injuries all over his body. While he fought, he secretly gathered his breath, and in just a short while he was already in his fifth breath.

The unstoppable spear was enraged as punched forward but Alex crouched to dodge while slicing his kneecaps open. He feel on his injured knee in pain and his eyes were filled with terror as he gazed at Alex as if he has just seen a demon.

At first, the other guardian’s present dare not get involved because they were too scared of offending the Big four but now, seeing Alex and Silver fight they were sure of two things. Silver’s strength thanks to his gadgets can easily reach the C ratings, meanwhile, Alex with just the second stage of the demon-kin technique plus his pseudo tiger level daggers is almost at the peak of the C ratings if not there.

His movements, fighting techniques, and sheer talent in battle make other C-rated guardians look like kids Infront of him.

The unstoppable spear fell on his butt with a terrified look on his face. His hands were shaky and sweaty as he gazed at Alex walking toward him. Finally, he couldn’t breathe or get himself to speak. The pressure he was feeling from Alex was just too much.

He could tell that Alex planned to take his life there and then!

Are guardians allowed to do that?

His fate should be decided in court not here!

“He is going to kill me!!! Take me away please!!” The unstoppable spear screamed in fear with pleading eyes.

His body shivered as he tried to move but his legs were already rendered useless.

“How many people have you killed doing something this crazy? How many innocent passersby have been crushed because of your little fun? Just today alone you destroyed at least give vehicles with people in them... Killing them on the spot!” Alex said coldly while approaching.

The guardians wanted to move but they were too scared of making a move. Alex was stronger than them in a one on one battle, also Alex still had the backing of the Briggs. If a fight should break out between him and them, they won’t leave unscathed.

“We don’t kill unless absolutely necessary! You have won! Let them take him in, the court will decide his fate!” Flaming sparrow screamed but Alex didn’t pay attention to him or anyone.

“Here I was thinking you guys were just stupid but now I know you guys are stupid, dumb, and worthless... How many more people have to die before you start doing things properly... Any villain who has taken a life deserves to die it’s just that simple!” Silver said as he picked himself up. He looked pale with his lips stained with blood.

Meanwhile, Alex ignored everyone and kept approaching. He was standing right in front of the enemy now and with his fists clenched.

“Please....” the unstoppable spear sobbed. In the face of death, his will crumbled and all he could do now is a cry for mercy.

“I am sure one of you victims begged you this way but you didn’t care” Alex said with furrowed eyebrows.

He had already taken six breaths, making his skin blood red. Without hesitation, Alex punched out. His fist slammed into the unstoppable spear’s head, shattering it like a watermelon.

Everyone watched in shock as the headless body shivered a bit before falling to the ground.

Alex had taken a life on live tv. The world was conflicted by his actions and he has just made himself an enemy of whoever supports the unstoppable spear in the shadows.

To become the symbol of peace that everyone can depend on, Alex knew he would need to use fear. Love or respect cannot bring peace. As far as Alex is concerned only through fear can he suppress all those who plan to disrupt the peace in this country?

He wanted a situation where long he is alive, no one would dare act recklessly.

That is what it meant to be the symbol of peace.

Alex and Silver were soon taken away by Andrew who came to pick them up. The entire day was silent, for years the Unstoppable spear has murdered many people and committed countless crimes. His actions have led to the death of many. He has created many orphans, widows, and widowers. But now he is dead!

The image of Alex shattering his head with a single punch etched deep in their hearts. No matter how much people tried to criticize Alex only there were more people praising him for his actions. In their opinion, he just made this country a safer place with the death of a terrifying villain.

In a dark room, a figure kept rewatching the death of the unstoppable spear with a calm look on his face.

“Alex Briggs..” the man muttered with a strange look on his face. He looked torn on what to do.

“What shall we do?” A stern deep voice echoed within the shadows.

“I don’t know yet... He did kill one of us so it’s only natural we retaliate but Wilder’s shadow still looms around him. Something tells me that if we make a move at him, Wilder will be there to save him... Now the real question is this, can any of you defeat Wilder Briggs?” The man asked but there was no response, just total silence.

“Good... That means we focus on the main plan... The unstoppable spear was more like a pet to me who loved causing chaos and destruction... That’s why I let him out once or twice... I didn’t know things will end up this way but it’s all good... What’s done is done... I can always get a new pet...” The man said with a light tone.

Alex returned home with the others and walked into his room only to notice the light was switched off. He may not be as smart as Silver but he was smart enough to take note of some minor details like he didn’t turn off the light.

He locked the door silently and turned on the light only to see Wilder sitting on the bed he seemed to hold a book in his hands and even though it was completely dark he could read it perfectly.

The huge man remained seated on the bed, so Alex decided to sit on one of the sofas. Since Wilder hasn’t spoken yet, he decided not to speak. The silence stretched for about five minutes or so before Wilder finally dropped the book and gave Alex a cold glance.

“You messed up...” Wilder said calmly.

These words would strike few into the hearts of anyone but Alex seemed very calm.

“I did what I thought is best for me... That’s all there is to it” Alex said calmly and Wilder nodded.

Knocks could be heard on the door but no one paid attention to them. Their eyes were glued to each other.

“What are your plans...” Wilder asked with a fire amount of curiosity in his eyes.

“Aah, you caught on faster than I expected... As expected...” Alex laughed calmly.

“Either way, this has nothing to do with my plan... I simply did what I believe is right... I don’t agree with the laws of this country... So I simply do what I want” Alex shrugged his shoulders as he spoke.

“You still didn’t tell me the plan...” Wilder seemed unusually calm as he spoke but Alex wasn’t moved either.

“Maybe I just don’t want to...” Alex said and Wilder just nodded in understanding.

“I see...” He muttered.

“The man you killed has some link to the true head of the Tyrant gang... You still have roughly two months left for your internship... During this period I will send important work that has to do with them your way... Try not to die” Wilder said calmly.
