Chapter 112: Chun Ma (3)

Bak Jongse was not bluffing when he said this. All of those who were residents of the hideouts already had nano bombs within them. The man then muttered dumbfoundedly.

-Ugh… Is he like a god or something?

“Just shut up and get ready, will ya?”

Bak Jongse then hung up and let out a sigh. He wanted to find a safer place if there was any, but for now, the hideout was the safest place he could find. Bak Jongse then looked through the rearview mirror.

“Ugh…”

Huan Xia seemed she was very worried, while fidgeting with her smartphone from the backseat. Of course, it was understandable. She was trying to make a call to his father in any way she could. But after Chun Yeowun cracked her phone, the phone seemed to have taken damage to the communication chip or something that blocked her from making a phone call or even sending a text message.

‘Dammit! Dammit! Please! Just one sentence!’

Northeast of Jenam City.

There was a large lake surrounded by small hills. And right in front of the lake was a large area that had tall, 30-story building surrounded by smaller buildings. The entrance to this area read ‘Yongchun Group’ as the company name. The 30-story building was the Yongchun Group’s headquarters office.

It was late at night, but on the 29th floor meeting room, there were eight middle-aged men in suits gathered for an important meeting. In the middle of the long table was a man in mid fifty’s with slick back white hair, who looked to be the President of the company shaking head.

“I clearly said no to that.”

“But, you cannot…!”

With that, the middle-aged man with a beard and blue suit sitting on the right of the President shouted out loud with frustration.

“Director Huan, I have told you multiple times that we cannot let you do that. The Defense Department warned that there will be Gate Warning that will be going into effect in one or two days. You cannot go.”

“But I have lost contact with my daughter!”

Director Huan spoke as he bit on his lips. But the President replied with a sorry look.

“If what we are told is true, it is Gate No. 19 and that is up north. People at the Defense Department said it was likely that this Gate will be class B. If you are not here for your cultist in such times, who will protect them?”

Gate Class B. That was a very dangerous case that could result in destruction. Whatever type of Gate was, it was going to be dangerous no matter what. Director Huan’s expression darkened, and the President spoke reassuringly.

“You are the most important person in our company. You are also the leader of the entire intelligence force of the Demonic Cult! You need to learn to control your emotions!”

“…I am sorry.”

“Also, Simyang City is currently is on lockdown due to Gate Warning, and we cannot enter at the moment. Now is time to wait. Once the warning is lifted, we will send cultists standing by at the nearest Bushin City immediately.”

President spoke reassuringly, but in his mind he did not like this one bit. As far as he knew, Director Huan’s daughter was not his real daughter, but an adopted daughter. This was because the Ghost Illusion Clan’s martial arts was heavily utilizing cold energy, that removed all living sperms from user’s body that did not allow the user to have a baby.

‘Wasn’t it you who sent her there so she does not partake in the war? For Demon God’s sake…’

But no matter how he thought, Director Huan was an important piece in this war. He had no intention of making Director Huan uncomfortable.

“Anyway, it is best that we check the object Chun Wookyung acquired to see if it is real or…’

It was then that Director Huan’s smartphone vibrated. The President frowned in discomfort as his words were interrupted, but Director Huan brightened as he looked down at his phone.

“President! It’s my daughter! She’s sent a message!”

“…See? I told you. She’s totally fine.”

‘Ugh, that damn daughter.’

It was hard to even proceed with the meeting. But as Director Huan read the message, he became weird. The President figured something was off and asked him.

“Is there any problem?”

“I am not sure what this means… she’s saying ‘He will come.’ But who…”

That’s when another message followed.

“Chun… Ma?”

“What?”

It was then.

An explosion came from above and something penetrated through the ceiling and was stuck on the meeting room table. Every man immediately rose up and took steps back in shock.

“W-what’s going on?!”

The President also became shocked and got up and saw ‘something’ that was stuck on the table.

“A sword?”

It was a sword, but unlike any sword, it was glowing in the darkness. And the sword looked very familiar. On the sword, there was a letter engraved on its blade. The President tried to read the words out loud.

“Sky D…”

It was then.

Something else dropped from the ceiling and to the meeting room table. It was something much bigger, and the debris falling from the ceiling clouded the room with dust.

“What is this?!”

“It’s an enemy attack!”

All the men pulled out their own weapons. It was natural for them to be shocked as something just dropped through the building ceiling all of a sudden.

That’s when the dust cloud was sucked in, along with some weird mechanical sound, revealing someone in it. It was a young man with a black coat and a black suit. It was Chun Yeowun.

“Who are you to dare come in here like…”

Someone shouted out, but Chun Yeowun looked at them with a cold look and spoke.

“Kneel.”

With that, all of them went down on their knees against their will.

“Ugh!”

“W-what is going on?!”

Everyone was shocked at the sudden event that happened. And what shocked them more was this.

“P-President!”

The arrogant order did not include an exception for the President.
