Chapter 96: Meeting (1)

Bak Jongse looked at Chun Yeowun with weird look.

‘What is he thinking right now?’

Chun Yeowun had announced to rebuild the Great Demonic Cult in this time. But then, he had sat down and stayed still as if he was in meditating for a while now. He’s sight was looking off to somewhere, and looked bit numb. It was hard to think what was going on in his mind.

On Chun Yeowun’s eyes, an augmented reality was being played out. Through his vision, many information was categorized through a spiderweb like map that spread out.

‘Fools that are competing on taking control over the cult, with dividing the cult into three groups. And PSB and the Government that tries to control the Yulin. And three forces of modern Yulin that drove my Demonic Cult into their end.’

Chun Yeowun had divided into three big categories. What he was thinking right now was what he was going to do with these three categories. Destroying them was very easy for him, but that was going to end up being a massacre. And this simple method was going to either make other categories to team up or be wary of Chun Yeowun.

‘First to get rid of is…’

The most important issue at the moment was the current Demonic Cult that are fighting over themselves in order to gain control. It was evident that combining these forces into one was first thing to do before moving onto other two categories. It was better if he were to get more information, but Kin Oyun only knew information until the Great Demonic Cult came to an end.

‘Hmph.’

She did not know exactly how three groups were fighting at present times.

[Captain Ko said three groups were claiming their birthright and reasonings to combine the late company’s power and are fighting amongst themselves. But…]

When last two survivor of Pure Kick Clan refused to join in on any of them, they had refused to share any more information. Kin Oyun felt disappointed, but she understood Captain Ko. If he were to leak the information without Kin Oyun and her son not joining the eldest son, Chun Yusung’s group, and later find out that Kin Oyun joined the another group, it was going to end them. After the proposal 10 years ago, Kin Oyun had never contacted them since.

[Didn’t they leave any way for you to contact them?]

[…They did.]

As Chun Yeowun expected, Chun Yusung’s group had left a way for Kin Oyun to get in contact[

[24, 32, 94, 83, 13, 52, 63, 103, 26, 49.]

Ko had gave the paper with these numbers to Kin Oyun. It was unorderly number combination, not easy to see what this numbers were meant for. After making Kin Oyun memorize these numbers, he had made her to burn the paper down.

[Is it a code?]

[I am not sure. He just called out these numbers while looking at a book at my house…]

[A book?]

Kin Oyun seemed to think that the number was just called out spontaneously from the moment. If that was true, then it was that book that seemed to hold the secret. But there was one problem with that.

[Anything that looked suspicious was taken away…]

Yeowun remembered that the house had nothing that reminded of books. Even if time had passed, somethings usually still remained even through times and such was books. This was because analog style of reading was still favored over electronic texts through screen.

‘So, it’s in hands of PSB…’

In order to retrieve that book, it was evident that Chun Yeowun had to head to the PSB.

‘Hmph.’

Yeowun slowly turned his sight and looked at Moyong Yimyung and Neung Domyung who was sealed off of their blood points and fainted. His sight then turned to bodies of PSB Special Force Units that were scattered throughout the ruined factory. And at last, Yeowun had stopped at Bak Jongse and Kin Oyun. Two of them became surprised at sudden Chun Yeowun’s gaze and looked back.

Chun Yeowun grinned. Bak Jongse couldn’t understand the meaning of the grin and asked carefully.

“Anything bothering you, my lord?”

Chun Yeowun then got up at once with the question and spoke.

“That man was the key.”

“Pardon?”

Both mother and the son turned to the direction where Chun Yeowun was looking at. There was Moyong Yimyung laying flat down on the ground with his eyes closed.

Traffic Control Room at the Simyang’s Public Security Bureau.

There were about 200 of 40 inch monitors that monitored every passageways and streets of entire Simyang city that are showing through each monitor on its 24 division live video footage. On the monitor, it was easy to find PSB Policemen controlling many parts of streets out there. With the Gate Warning active, Defense Army went out on the Wall to defend, while Police were working inside the wall to control citizens from going chaotic.

“Evacuation of 11 students from Hweipeng region to the nearest evacuation center is finished.”

“Three homeless men who stayed outside of the camera at Taesuh region, 10th street had been found by the local police officer and are now in transit to 8th street evacuation center.”

Monitoring agents reported of their findings in real time. Only ones that remained at PSB Headquarter was traffic monitoring agents and Sang Yugeun, the Director of PSB. When the Gate Warning was in effect, there was lack of people to work outside, so only minimum number of people remained within the headquarter.

“Understood.”

Director Sang Yugeun who had heard the report looked serious. Even while controlling all police forces of Simyang city from the control room, he was too focused on something else.

‘Why is there no contact still?’

He looked tense as his eyes turned to the electronic clock hung up on the wall. It had been a while since the operation had started, but he had then heard nothing. It should have been taken care of already, but he wasn’t being notified of anything yet, so he was in frustration.

‘Did something unexpected happen?’

If that was the case, then it was no good. Special Forces Unit had to be dispatched to control inside the city wall in Gate Warning, but with no sign of them returning, Sang Yugeun had to divide small team into even smaller team to be dispatched throughout the city.

‘I lied that they are out on the special mission…’

Other agents seemed to grow suspicious. Sang Yugeun was frustrated about the whole situation thus.

‘Why there had to be the Gate Warning out of all times?’
