Chun Yeowun wasn’t being hostile, nor he was using his energy to pressure them. He was just looking at them with very angry look, but there was strange pressure coming from Chun Yeowun. It wasn’t just a show of force, but some kind of a charisma that can be felt from an absolute leader that rules over others. Bak Jongse had to look down without realizing. He couldn’t dare to meet his eyes against Chun Yeowun. Bak Jongse became confused, and sent telepathic message to his mother Kin Oyun.

[Mother. I know this doesn’t make sense… but I think it is him.]

Kin Oyun couldn’t use telepathic message as she destroyed her internal energy and couldn’t do such thing, so she whispered back.

“What are you talking about?”

[I think he’s really the 24th Lord.]

His instincts were telling him that it was true. He became so excited that his heart began to pound. Bak Jongse then banged his head down on the ground and spoke.

“A-are you really the 24th Lord?”

He asked straight up. This man in front seemed he will never tell any lies. Kin Oyun who was also on the ground became tense and glanced up with hint of suspicion at Chun Yeowun. Chun Yeowun lowered his eyes and spoke.

“You have many doubts, just like your ancestor, Bakgi.”

Two of them became surprised with Chun Yeowun talking the 14th clan leader of Pure Kick Clan like if he knew him personally. It sounded so natural that it almost seemed like this man was truly the 24th Lord. Kin Oyun frowned, and added another question on top of Bak Jongse.

“I-I know this might be rude to ask… but is it okay if I ask a question?”

Chun Yeowun did not say anything to her question. Kin Oyun figured it to be an approval and asked.

“Our 14th clan leader, Sir Bakgi had left a record on our book of history that he owed a huge debt to the 24th Lord when he first met. Do you know what this is about?”

This story was now only known to Kin Oyun, who was the last one to have read the Pure Kick Clan’s history book. There were no way others from other clans nor family of Lords would know.

‘Is mother trying to check something?’

Bak Jongse had lived a life of fugitive since he was very young, so he did not know anything about this.

Kin Oyun became nervous as the question might seem rude as it contained a suspicion. But unlike her expectation, Chun Yeowun seemed amused.

“It’s not like him, to record something so petty.”

Chun Yeowun knew Bakgi as cool headed man. The excerpt of making huge debt brought Yeowun back to the first time when he met Bakgi. Back then, even Chun Yeowun himself did not know Bakgi would be one of closest man.

“When I was in Demonic Academy, Chun Jongsum from the Poison clan poisoned him, and I removed it from Bakgi. Is that what you are talking about?”
