“Mistake?”

“Do you think no one will know if you break all surveillance cameras and other devices around the house?”

As the captain said, the entire house was in a mess because Chun Yeowun destroyed every machine within the house. The captain thought his threats were working and wore a smug on his face as he spoke.

“You think the camera is the only thing watching us? You try to be smart-ass but you aren’t. Do you think no one will care with all the videos going off at once? Hah! I’m sure all the PSB forces will be on their way here by now.”

“You are bluffing.”

“You think so? Hah! Why do you think we took the torture and didn’t give you anything? We are just waiting for our reinforcements!”

Chun Yeowun then looked at the captain’s eyes. His eyes were shaking, but it was not avoiding Chun Yeowun’s gaze. That’s when Bak Jongse came into the living room. As Chun Yeowun looked at him, Bak Jongse nodded without any words.

“You are lucky.”

Chun Yeowun took off his finger from the captain’s thighs and left him behind as Chun Yeowun left the house. After hearing the sound of the car starting and leaving, the captain sighed in relief.

“Ugh… hah…”

He was so scared that he might have to feel the pain of a finger puncturing into his flesh. It was fortunate that his quick wits had worked.

‘It’s good that he got fooled.’

All he said about reinforcements was a lie. He and his team were the PSB, but they worked covertly under the radar. Because of this, their equipment were made to be untrackable from headquarters.

‘Ugh… but it’s good that everyone’s safe. I should tell boss that Six Road Toy found out that we have spy in their… wait. What is this?”

The captain then found out something was weird. He did bluff about the reinforcements coming in, but it didn’t make sense that Chun Yeowun kept all of them alive anyway.

‘Dammit. I almost got fooled.’

The captain then quickly squirmed to move over and picked up a piece of glass from the floor. His blood points were sealed so he needed something to cut off the rope from his hands. After untying himself, the captain woke up all agents who were asleep.

“C-captain! You’re safe!”

“There’s no time to waste. Wake everyone up. We’ll talk in the van.”

The agent nodded as the captain looked like he was in hurry and began to wake up others. After waking up everyone, they all got in the van. After the van began to move, the captain began to explain what had happened briefly. Agent Sanyoung spoke with sigh of relief.

“It’s good that your bluff worked! I guess he wasn’t as smart as we thought! Why didn’t they rig our cars so we can’t move?”

The captain shook his head.

“No. They did that on purpose.”

“What?”

“We almost got fooled. He’s a smart guy.”

“What do you mean?”

“He let us go intentionally. He knew he couldn’t track anything from what we have, so he played along with me.”

The captain first thought his bluffing worked on Chun Yeowun. But that quickly became confusing as there was no way that a man who took PSB agents as hostages would give up the hostages that easily. Even if it wasn’t for him, Kin Jongse would at least come and ask for whereabouts of his mothers with rage, but he was also too calm.

“Then what should we do? We can’t go to our boss either.”

“They won’t track us right away. I think Kin Jongse came back from outside because he placed a tracking device on our van or something.”

“Shit! Hey! Search the car for any tracking devices!”

Sanyoung ordered tactical teams to search the car, but the captain shook his head again.

“Stop. They aren’t some fools. They won’t install it where you can just look around and find it. Drive to nearest car repair shop.”

“Yes, sir.”

The driver answered and searched the navigation. The captain became tense as he dove into his thoughts. He had to search the car at the repair shop and remove the tracking device and then call his boss.

Director’s room of the Simyang PSB Headquarters. Sang Yugeun who was sitting down with a walkie-talkie was grim. From the walkie-talkie, a rough voice came over.

-Director. What should we do? Captain Ko is awaiting for the order.

Sang Yugeun rubbed his chin at the words. He was getting frustrated by the situation that was not turning as he expected.

‘It’s him again.’

He sent the man to investigate, but did not expect his man to turn over to the target. But since the man was working for them only because his mother was being held hostage, he expected a problem sooner or later.

‘It’s annoying.’

Sang Yugeun then glanced at the picture of Chun Yeowun sitting on the interrogation room. Chun Yeowun was making a mess in every project that Sang Yugeun had worked on.

‘I don’t know what the hell you are up to, but you’ve crossed the line.’

If this man was left alone, then it was going to cause more trouble. The director decided and talked to the walkie-talkie.

“Neung. Tell Captain Ko to stop deactivating the tracking device from his car.”
