Chapter 45

The inside of the safe was divided into two compartments. The bottom compartment had a suitcase-like object and the top compartment had a piece of paper and nothing else. It seemed like there was not much of an important piece of evidence to be found, which was not expected.

‘Is there a USB drive inside that suitcase?’

Chun Yeowun thought as he reached down toward the lower compartment. But he changed his mind as he became intrigued by the piece of paper that was left alone on the other compartment and reached to pick it up instead.

That’s when he heard Nano’s voice ringing through his head.

[Alert. Detected wireless signal printer and a data removal device at the top ceiling of the safe.]

‘Removal device?’

[When the safe is forced open, the device is to shoot out fire to burn the document to be incinerated. It seems to be a security measure.]

The safe did not only have a security alert as a security measure. When forced open, it was created so that anything inside would be destroyed by fire. The safe measure was highly sophisticated and had multiple steps to make it secure.

‘…It’s well prepared. So, what’s with that printer?’

[It is a device that prints out documents received wirelessly and transferred over to the device.]

‘Outside signal? Can you track where the signal is coming from?’

[The signal is created with short-range YTD wireless signals, so it can only be tracked when the signal is being directly sent to the device and the device is printing the document.]

It seemed like the signal wasn’t sent to the device from a remote region. It meant that someone came very close to the range of the company building to send the signal to the device. Chun Yeowun was astonished.

‘…Is it a must for this world to try to remove tracks? Nothing is easygoing here.’

Yeowun needed to utilize the printer inside the safe to track down who was sending orders to this office. It was when Yeowun was thinking if he should stay here until he got something coming from the outside that Nano offered a different solution.

[I will copy the device’s wireless registered receiving code. It will allow me to detect the same wireless signal that comes into the device while in a two-kilometer radius.]

‘Oh?’

If that was possible, then there was no need to stay within the office. It was thankful that Chun Yeowun at least had highly advanced technology, or the 7th Generation Nano Machine from the future, to help him out in this unknown world. It did not take long to copy the code from the device.

Chun Yeowun then took out the paper from the safe and took a glance. He was curious as to what kind of information was written on the paper. There was a total of four orders that was printed onto the paper.

The bottom of the paper showed the Blade Six logo and someone’s printed signature there. It was hidden information that Chun Yeowun had been looking for. The true nature of a giant mega-company had now finally revealed its shadow. Starting with the assassination, it even was dealing with the kidnapping of individuals.

‘I knew you would be the same as always.’

Chun Yeowun’s mouth turned into a smile. It was exactly the kind of thing that Yeowun knew Blade Six might be doing. They were pretending if they were now on the side of justice, the side of good. But Blade Six as Yeowun knew it was always up for doing everything they could for their own profit and there was no way they would change their ways.

‘This one’s quite good.’

If this order paper were to be revealed to the world, Blade Six as a mega-company was going to take a significant hit. Chun Yeowun folded the paper and put it into his clothes pocket.

‘Hmph.’

After determining the true nature of the company, Yeowun needed more direct information to Blade Six, but there wasn’t anything about that. Yeowun now reached down toward the bottom of the safe toward the suitcase. The suitcase had a lock on it.

[It is a fingerprint scanner, Master.]

‘Is it?’

Chun Yeowun then reached behind him and Yun Munpyung’s cut right hand was sucked into Yeowun’s palm. Yeowun grabbed it and pressed the thumb on the fingerprint scanning area of the suitcase.

*Click*

It opened the case and Yeowun looked inside. He frowned as he checked to see if there was any device or information that might hold the data he was looking for. Instead, there was something that he did not expect.

‘What is this?’

Yeowun thought as he grabbed and picked it up from the case. It was a syringe about the size of a palm, created with thick glass and silvery metal hardware around it. Inside was a blue liquid.

‘Nano, can you check what this thing is about?’

There was another syringe inside the case. It seemed like there were 10 syringes originally, but 8 of them were missing from their supposed spots.

[I will scan it, Master.]

Yeowun’s palm began to shoot out red light, scanning through the syringe that the hand was holding. After scanning, Yeowun’s eye was activated with augmented reality which showed the unique shape of a metallic ball. Within the blue liquid, there were thousands of these floating within.

[This is a nano bomb. I have zoomed in so that Master can see it with your naked eyes.]

‘Nano… bomb?’

To Chun Yeowun’s amazement, these small balls that could not be seen with the naked eye were actually nano-sized bombs. Yeowun became curious.

‘Nano, do you mean this world also created Nano Machines too?’
