Chapter 40

Name:Descent of the Demon God Author:
“That is all, Director.”

The man was the owner of this floor, and the Director of Six Road Toy, Yun Munpyung. He was being briefed of what to expect prior to the meeting. Throughout the briefing, he did not even glance at Jo Yusung, and when it was finished, he spoke out.

“He cut your hand because you did not keep the promise on the time?”

“…Yes, sir.”

“That’s an untrained punk.”

Yun Munpyung threw his golf club into the golf bag and sat on the sofa across from Jo Yusung. He then crossed his legs and drank a glass of whiskey that had its ice melted halfway through. Jo Yusung then spoke to him again.

“If we keep him on a leash, he will be of good use. With that amount of power, I think he has good potential for our future use.”

“Are you saying that he’s not a one-time use?”

“…Yes, sir.”

Yun Munpyung stared at Jo Yusung and laughed, “You had your hand cut off, and you still come up with the same conclusion. I guess the man is really useful then.”

It was normal to have hostility for the situation, but Jo Yusung still analyzed it without considering his emotions. This was also why Yun Munpyung valued Jo Yusung as his employee.

“Good. I will see him and decide myself. As you said, if he sure is at the superior master stage, then it is a shame if we just use him once or twice.”

“Thank you, sir.”

Jo Yusung bowed deeply to show his thanks. Yun Munpyung then flicked his finger to gesture it was okay to move on with the meeting. Jo Yusung then walked out the door and Yun Munpyung caressed his chin and mumbled.

“Tsk, tsk. I think you are wrong this time, Jo. If the man was really superior master stage, then I should have known the moment he walked into the floor.”

Director Yun Munpyung. He was one of the two superior master stages who was stationed in this company. But to his senses, he was only able to sense an entity who seemed to be at the end stage of the super master stage. Considering the man to be in early 20s, he still was a valuable individual, but it was proof that Jo Yusung was too weak to assess a more powerful warrior than him.

Yun Munpyung then rose up and put a top suit jacket over his body. Whatever the case, it was a meeting and he had to look professional no matter the case.

The door to the room opened again, and this time Jo Yusung came into the office with someone else.

‘Oh?’

Yum Munpyung seemed intrigued. As he was told, the man was dressed in medieval time fashion as if he had come out from a movie. It was especially striking to see Chun Yeowun’s super long hair which not a lot of people choose to have in modern days.

“He is our director, Yun Munpyung.”

Jo Yusung introduced Yun Munpyung to Chun Yeowun. Yusung already reported prior to the meeting, but he introduced Chun Yeowun again to Yun Munpyung after.

“He is Yeowun, as I briefed earlier.”

Chun Yeowun had revealed that his name was Yeowun, but did not disclose his last name. He thought about revealing his full name including the last name to see how Blade Six would react, but he quickly changed his mind.

‘I should not make any trouble before I get a clue on what is going on here.’

This company was a mere satellite company to its bigger original company. There was no need to reveal his identity so that his enemy can prepare for what’s to come. If this world was a parallel universe where the Blade God was alive, then the Blade God could go into hiding if Yeowun’s existence was known.

Yun Munpyung reached out with his hand for a handshake.

“Greetings. I am Yun Munpyung. It seems I look like to be older, so excuse me for skipping formalities.”

Chun Yeowun then looked down at the hand. He was not used to handshakes as a sign of greetings, which was a culture that came from Western civilization. But Yeowun was quickly reminded of the information that was transferred to his brain and grabbed the hand back. “Yeowun.”

‘Ugh!’

Jo Yusung frowned. He expected at least some kind of respectful attitude from Chun Yeowun, but it seems like it was a false hope. Yusung then glanced at Yun Munpyung, and as expected, Yun Munpyung did not seem to like how Yeowun was acting. But Munpyung quickly found calm and spoke as if it was nothing.

“Hahaha. You seem to have trained too hard in hiding that you did not learn much about social manners. Why don’t we sit down and talk more?”

Munpyung then pointed at the sofa and moved over and sat on the chair. He then crossed his legs and pressed on the phone button to speak.

“We have a guest. Get us some tea.”
