122 Preparations to Go To The Main Continent (1)

“Blake, what do you think about going to the main continent?”

After hearing Vera’s question, it took Blake 3 whole seconds to finally give her his answer.

One second was used to make sure that he didn’t mishear what Vera was saying to him. One more second was used to process the words, and one last second was only him holding in his excitement so that he wouldn’t be jumping around in place while he gave her his answer, “Let’s go!”

Seeing Blake’s eagerness and enthusiasm that was still leaking out from his tone of voice and a minute shaking on his body, Vera nodded her head and quickly told him,

“Start packing up your things. We will go in three days.”

After the declaration that she made, Vera used one of her spells to secure one of the sailboats. And with the help of Robus, the two of them moved the sailboat to the shore.

Vera then drew rune formations around the ship with Blake’s help as they made sure that no creatures would ruin the ship by creating a simple darkness elemental barrier.

The reason for her securing a single ship to go to the main continent of the first demon realm even though she could just simply fly there was because Blake and Robus weren’t capable of flying yet.

And they would need some type of transportation means to get to the main continent.

.....

The sailboat that the humanoid demons left was perfect for the job, so Vera did nothing else than to make sure that the sailboat would be in a proper condition to be able to carry them.

Then after Vera and Blake made sure that their barrier would hold on just fine for three days with the amount of nether they poured into it and it was strong enough to ward off a decently strong creature from breaking it, the group then made their way into the forest as they have some preparations they needed to do before leaving their homes.

———-

Three days later after Vera said the group would be going to the main continent of the first demon realm, each of the group, including Robus had their own things to do at the last minute before Vera called out to them.

Vera was still in her basement, packing up her research materials, be it important notes or literal materials used to make rune formations. She had finished packing up the basic stuff such as food, emergency clothing in case the self-cleaning one she and Blake currently wore broke, and basic camping essentials that they would need to survive in the wilderness.

Vera clicked her tongue in annoyance as she had to make sure that she didn’t miss anything, even made a list to make sure that she brought all her research essentials with her.

‘The first realm really is an annoying realm.’ She thought in her head as she put her stuff in different spatial bags that she had created.

Even with bags that had been enhanced by her spatial magic, the limitations of the quality of nether in the first realm made it so that she couldn’t create a spatial bag large enough to fit all of her stuff into a simple one bag.

Back in her realm, if she wanted to move out, then she could just easily use a spatial bag that was huge enough to fit her whole isolated space inside, bringing her whole garden, house, and even basement inside that spatial bag.

Sadly, she couldn’t do that right now and was forced to do things in a more conventional way. Hence she spent her three whole days of preparations exactly doing that, packing up.

On the other hand, the two boys, Blake and Robus, had different kinds of preparations from Vera.

With Robus not wearing any clothes from the start, he didn’t have to pack up anything – well at least there’s only one thing that he decided to bring on his journey.

Upon Blake telling him that they would be going so far away to fight stronger enemies and eating more strong and tasty souls to get themselves stronger, it didn’t take Robus more than a second to nod in his agreement to go along with Blake and Vera.

At first, Robus didn’t plan to bring anything with him as he thought that he was more than ready to go any time they wanted to go.

But after Blake told him that the place they would be going to is a very different place from the forest, and some things might not be present there, including his favorite fruit, Robus quickly understood what Blake meant and started gathering almost all the fruit that grew in his territory to a single place.

And in the end, after asking for Vera’s help, Blake ended up giving the huge gorilla 2 dimensional pouches to store all those fruits that the gorilla had gathered. Then with that, the huge gorilla’s preparation was truly finished.

At last, Blake, who actually had the least to pack since he literally didn’t have anything in the house and he also didn’t need to scour the forest to find and stock on his favorite food, was left with nothing to do when the other two creatures were doing their own preparations.

So with nothing better to do, Blake decided to experiment a little with the rune formations, just like what Vera had told him before.

He decided to start with something simple to create a rune formation that would be useful in a fight.

Although he finished the very first prototype on the first day, Blake perfected it, choosing the right materials to carry the rune formation, and also choosing what kind of spell he wanted the rune formations to carry, the third day was when everything was already fixed.

And after helping his gorilla friend pack up his months supply of fruits, Blake asked him to go and accompany him to test out his new spells.

And as per tradition when testing a new spell, the two soon found a group of boars, the same types that they could find anywhere in the forest, the ones that didn’t have their bloodline powers yet to test out Blake’s new experiments.
